Wow - a toyshop still has the three players packs 8 years after their release!? I don't collect the NBA theme but personly would buy them for investment! They already go for more than the RRP on Bricklink.com and ebay!

Hello everyone! This is my Modern Garden MOC which was originally built to test my new "stone paved" technique using 1x1 earling bricks, tiles and a combined method of SNOT! I also like how the grass turned out like. Here is a view of my garden table and deck chair designs. I hoped you like my garden and my stone paving technique which will be very usefull in future MOCs! My Flickr

Very Rare Inside Tour Set
TheKingOfBuilding replied to TheKingOfBuilding's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I will update and take photos of my copy and it's condition as soon as possible. The thing I wanted to know is a rough idea of a price serious Lego collectors would pay. Before I take the photos, here is the general information: The box has a slide-on sleeve , has no creases or tears, the bags for the models are factory sealed, the instructions are in perfect condition with no bends or creases and overall the set is just like I recieved it. I understand your point that you need proof that I have the set so I will update the post with more accurate imformation. -
Very nice microscale creation ADHO15 ! I especialy like the boathouse stairs!

Hello all! I have a brand new copy of set LIT2010: Cars and need to sell it to fund a Lego project. This is a exclusive gift given to the guests of the 2010 Inside Tour . There have been only 33 numbered copies of this set produced and I am about to sell #27. When the Inside Tour guests recieved their sets, not all of the copies were signed by Lego product designer Steen Sig Anderson. Below are some additional images... My question is: How much would you be prepared to pay for this set? (Remember, there are only 33 copies of this set in the world, it is signed by the designer of this set, the packaging and instructions are not creased or damaged in any way and came in a removable sleeve but the bags are still factory-sealed) Many thanks, TheKingOfBuilding Below is a link to the catalog record of this set at Brickset.com Inside Tour 2010 set

If your sets from the 90's have not yet yellowed, it is very unlikely that they will considering they are misb. It will be a fair amount of time before they start yellowing if they are kept in the boxes and in little sunlight.

What is in the mystery box? Lego 4679
TheKingOfBuilding replied to youtoo's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Someone on Flickr has posted some pics of the extra parts he got in a similar "mystery box" here . -
I would get the Public Transport Station because it is full of different everyday vehicles but at the same time, these are unlikely to appear in other sets.

The whole MOC is brilliant but the front design is my favourite

I love the design of the interior!

Are brick-built figures allowed for the custom minifigue contest? e.g: A figure made using minifigure legs and a head but a brick-built torso and arms. -
Harry Potter 2012 Set Ideas Thread
TheKingOfBuilding replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Licensed
There are ships and vehicles in Harry Potter! The ship is set 4768: Durmstrang Ship and the many vehicles are in sets 4755: Knight Bus, 4758: Hogwarts Express, 4841: Hogwarts Express (this version includes the flying car) and finnaly set 4728: Escape From Privet Drive which has the first version of the magical Ford car! -
A Reek is a creature from the Star Wars universe that is seen in episode II, in the Geonosian areana battle scene (one of the three creatures that fight Anakin, Obi Wan and Padme). Below is a description from Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary... Reek live on the Condian Moon, where small herds are highly territorial over their patches of wood-moss turf. Fleshy and plodding, the reek is nonetheless a strong beast and a powerfull fighter. The reek's powerfull jaw muscles are built to chop tough wood-moss chunks into peices, but its bite can nip limbs off even more easily. Unfortunately for the herbivorous reek, it was discovered that the beast can be starved into carnivorism to provide excellent entertainment in the areana, Fed on meat alone, the reek will die, but areana specimens are given just enough plant food to keep them hungry and strong. It really is a shame Lego didn't make a reek, as the colours would be fanastic, and also the printing would of been brilliant.

Good idea to use a cellphone for a glowing effect!

4736 or 4865 - Which is best for multiples?
TheKingOfBuilding replied to TheKingOfBuilding's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks everyone for the feedback!I will take it into account! How do I move this topic into the Generall Discussion "What Set Should I Buy" topic? As that topic seems like the right place to put this post! Many Thanks, TheKingOfBuilding Thanks for telling me! I didn't know that a "Which Set Should I Buy" topic existed! -
I am planning on building a Hogwarts (well, auctually I've already started) and want to buy multiple sets of 4736 or 4865 but I don't know which set is more useful to have lots of! Here is the "pros" and "cons" of each set: 4736: Freeing Dobby Pros: Tan and light grey archways School uniform torso Dobby (can be used as one of the school kitchen's house-elfs) New style "earling brick"s Spider (For the scene in the Forbidden Forest with Arragog) Death Eater head on Malfoy Cons: Lucius Malfoy minifig - he's way too common to Bricklink Not a huge amount of tan pieces except from the archway and "earling" bricks Another Harry Potter head - what do you do with them all? 4865: Forbidden Forest Pros: School uniform torso Dark brown half-arches (perfect for the arches in the Great Hall) Foliage pieces (great for covering the ancient walls of the castle) New mushroom piece (good for use in the school greenhouses) Some trans-blue flames (brilliant for spells) Cons: Voldemort, Hagrid and Narcissa minifigs - good to have one of each but not multiples Zero (normall) tan pieces - useless for the walls of Hogwarts Another Harry Potter head - what do you do with them all? I really would appreciate it if you gave me some advice on which set to buy multiples of as both sets are really useful!

How Many Minifigs do you own?
TheKingOfBuilding replied to Millacol88's topic in General LEGO Discussion
According to Brickset, I have 653 minifigures however, I have many separte minifig pieces so I guess I have around 700 minifigures altogether. -
Hello everyone and today I will be reviewing the Voodo Jack polybaged set. When the bag is opened, out falls four minifigure pieces and no instructions or other promotional leaflets. Enough talk, lets get onto Captain Sparrow... This voodo version of Captain Jack is quite unlike any other Sparrow minifigure. His appearence is designed to look like it has been sewn together by hand. I am fortunate enough to own all of the Jack Sparrow minifigures so I decided to do a group shot. Below is a comparison of two of the different Jacks in their clothing - the one on the left is the normall Jack and the one on the right is the voodo version.(Both are without hair to allow more comparison of the detail) Now lets move onto the pieces. All of the parts but the hair are exclusive to this set, which is common for a Sparrow minifigure. And yes, that is a tan minifigure head! Next is the torso and legs. The stitching effect of the doll is done amazingly well. Finnally, the ratings! Value: I got Voodo Jack free when I ordered the Pirates of The Carribean videogame, so value gets 10/10 Playability: 1 minifigure with no accesories? Lets skip the ratings for playability. Parts: With three of the four parts included in this set being exclusive, "parts" get a 9/10 Overall: 6/10 - This set has brilliant pieces making a great minifigure but the only let down is the playability And now, a closing picture... "I'm the real Jack!" "No, I'm the real Jack!"

Today I bring you a represtation of a famous wizard prison; Azkaban! I made the dark and gloomy effect by using dark colours for the landscaping and I achieved the triangular shape like this Please comment and tell me what you think as I allways like improving my MOCs!

All old pieces have a slight colour difference unfortunately

I'm not really sure which forum theme to post this in so feel free to move this to a more appropriate theme! The Lego group has never produced a lion mould* and ,by the looks of it, never will. Thankfully, I have made my own brick-built one! It is a simple but effective build made out of common pieces and works brilliantly in a zoo! Please comment and tell me what you think as I allways like improving my MOCs! *Not including the Duplo lion

Hello, this is my first post here on Eurobricks and today I will show you my Jurrassic Park Tour Car MOC! It has a removable grille made out of Star Wars clone guns, battle droid arms and clip tiles. I am very impressed with angle the grille turned out to be. The colour scheme worked out well, especially with the Jurrassic Park decals on the hood and sides (applid with double-sided tape) Please tell me what you like and what you think needs improving as I allways like making my MOCs better See my brickfilm staring the Tour Car here:
