  1. ...yup. Bought three Aliexpress cars, delivered at my door for $33. Crazy cheap, Crazy pleased with Aliexpress overall.
  2. Agree. Love TLG but I bought teh Aliexpress Lamborghini Countach and the "Elanor" Mustang. Absolutely stunning builds! The Lamborghini has a full engine bay with working hood, along with the Elanor having a full engine bay and a working trunk with two nitrous tanks in it. I don't see TLG attempting to do that!
  3. In general, I think many of us are critical at first but then seem to warm up the the sets once we start building and display them.
  4. Aren’t those 2x6 tiles on the roof of the corvette new pieces??
  5. I know the answer is no. Too bad, wish they would. Possibly if they ever thought the were going bankrupt and needed to do it as a last ditch effort. They already using guns with the Pirate and Star Wars themes, etc.
  6. Incredible models, I agree. You look at them and know exactly what you're looking at. Love the engine bays! Hopefully Lego comes to emulate this down the road. Beautiful.
  7. 18!?!? Need pictures. I cheated, went to AliExpress and bought the Elenor, Countach, and pink Cadillac to hold me over. The Elenor and Countach were tremendous. In some regards with the designs, better than SC Lego as they had engines and the Elenor had a trunk with two NOS bottles. Some new parts as well. The quality/tolerance of the pieces weren’t as great but very very close.

    Punisher

Excited to see the leaked Punisher Lego figure, really pays homage to his cameo appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #129. I have all of his comics from 1978-1994 including some collectables. I'm afraid that Lego will only put out the Punisher mini-figure this year as part of the upcoming "Spider-Man $299" set. Would love to see a Punisher Armory Van! At least there's hope now that the build a series around the Punisher.
  9. K. Why can’t a photo be posted though? I forget the rule. Not like Lego owns this forum right?
  10. I agree, that employee’s email is playing it very conservatively as it’s not giving away any promises or shortcomings.
  11. Needed something to hold me over until the new Speed Champions series comes out in June. Was very impressed with dealing with AliExpress, received the shipment of three cars in about twenty days, here's the Lamborghini. Must say that some aspects of the build were better than Lego standards, for example the engine bay was a big time hidden bonus especially the way I like to display my cars in my Lego garage diorama. Pros: No missing pieces, directions were easy to follow, love the engine bay. Some new design/snot pieces. Can't hold my breath that long for Lego to build a Countach. Looks strikingly like the Lamborghini Countach. Cons: The pieces themselves were not to Lego's standard in the sense that there is more tolerance (i.e. weak wing), Lego's feel stronger and tighter. Directions aren't as easy to read as Lego's. Steering wheel still off centered. Sorry for the pictures, unable to rotate them on the host website:
  12. Curious about the front rims on the dragster, they look different too.
  13. This works for me! Hopefully the Ford GT comes in the iconic light blue & orange. I’ve been wanting the Stranger Things Bronco but this will suffice for a bit. Will this model the new Bronco or older model?!
  14. I agree on the dragster, too much stickers. Charger looks more of the same. They need to figure out a better rear window of these muscle cars. I do like how the exhaust is coming out before the rear tires on the Charger.
  15. Moc I’m guessing. Looks too busy. That graphics are “hiding” the car IMO.
  16. I bought the AliExpress Lamborghini Countach, the Ford Eleanor and the pink 50’s car to hold me over. They were delivered on 20 days, not bad. Will build them in April, pictures to follow soon after.
  17. I agree. It caused a lot of commotion but we warmed up to it real quick!
