Excellent suggestion, Thx for the quick reply. Is this already released?
-
Guys, this might seem to be an odd question but I'm planning to get a relatively cheap Star Wars set that includes the most iconic figures of the Star Wars series. Does somebody know which set I should get? I was thinking in the direction of a 15-40 dollar retail price. (Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, a stormtrooper, C3PO, R2D2,...) Thx in advance!

How long with the Super hero sets be on Shop@Home?
Cammo replied to lego idk's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that they will remain until the end of the year or January next year. All of the Pirate of the Caribbean sets are still available on the website, so don't worry. You may even get a sweet deal around Thanksgiving if you are living in the USA. -
I hope that someone will do a proper video review of the Helm's Deep set because I'm still thinking if I should get that set or not...
-
The only overpriced set IMO is the Weathertop. But that set is overpriced in all regions if you ask me. I think they are pretty similar to the prices of the other licensed stuff such as PotC and The Superheroes line. But because of all the new molds, I don't think we can actually complain. The only sets I'm picking up are 'Mines of Moria', 'Shelob Attacks' & 'Gandalf Arrives'. = 123 EUR That's not even the price of the most expensive set in this wave (After that I will wait for a price drop to pick up 'Weathertop' to complete the Fellowship.)

Since reviews of the Gandalf, Moria and Shelob sets have already been posted: Here's a review of the Brick Queen of the Uruk-hai battlepack set

Still hoping for a TMNT wave (or another PotC wave).
-
Received the following sets: - Cpt. America - The Cosmic Cube escape set - The Funhouse/ Dynamic Duo Escape - The Superman set All the main DC and Marvel characters for the price of 125 EUR. I'd better start building (finally... after 7 months of waiting [ not counting from the announcement on Comic-Con])

Someone posted this on Flickr: The Green Lantern (in the Batman 2 videogame)

I know I'm here again for the Belgians and the Dutch but I've got some great news: ALL SETS are available on the OFFICIAL LEGO SITE Time to dig in my wallet. Can't wait to have the sets, even if we had to wait 6 months in comparison with other countries. Sorry to interrupt the current discussion again but I have some news for the Dutch and Belgian AFOLs: It's official: The Catwoman, Superman and Batwing set are confirmed for the 'Bart Smit' stores. They hit shelves in May: http://folders.bartsmit.com/Bart_Smit_Lego_Brochure_2012/magazine.html#/spreadview/30/

I've just seen some pictures assuming that The Monster Fighters theme is already released in Germany (Köln) (sorry if this is old news but I didn't see it in the last couple of pages so...)

The zombies can be used for a Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare MOC If they eventually decide on making the Shaun of the Dead-set, they can reuse these faces :) This theme's 100x better than their Dino theme imho.

Sorry, didn't even know there was a multimedia section on this website

I've just seen 'The Avengers' movie. I wasn't blown away by it. Iron man 1 & 2 are still the best Marvel movies I've seen. There were a couple of witty and funny quotes and references to other major film franchises (without spoiling too much). Those who will see it will know what I mean of course.] The film soundtrack was of course epic but there were too many 'dead' moments as I like to call it. The consequence was that the entire plot had to round up in the last 15 minutes which I wished could have been longer. The last half hour was without a doubt the best part of the movie. Don't get me wrong here, it's a pretty good action flick but I guess I expected too much because of all the hyping, advertising, etc. I still find it weird that the major fanbase (living in the USA) must wait longer to watch the movie. Note: Stay when the credits role, there is an extra scene but since I'm not a diehard fan I didn't conclude much out of it. I'm still eager to buy at least 2 Avengers sets though (the Cpt. America & the Loki's CCE set.)

Thanks, if I don't find it here in Belgium at the end of May, I will definitely pick it up there

No, Dreamland has replaced Toys 'r us in Belgium. I mean the closest Toys 'r us where I live (which is Belgium), is in Lille/Rijsel. Still waiting until halfway May to go there because I heard rumors that Superheroes sets will eventually arrive in Belgium and the Netherlands at the beginning of next month. BTW, sorry for interrupting the discussion AFOLS
-
The closest Toys 'r Us store from where I live (in Belgium) is a 40-minute drive. Might get a peek in a week or 2-3 if they still aren't available here. I just hope the funhouse set will be available in Belgium too but I fear this won't be the case since it's an exclusive. By the way, how much do they charge for the funhouse set?
-
Can you please tell me which stores they are available in? Merci

Made an account on Cuusoo to vote for this theme. Create idea, Lego doesn't need to make new pieces so it's not that of a risk I think. BTW would you use yellow minifigs or flesh-toned ones? Saloon is the obvious choice to go first. It's the most typical Cowboy setting. Hope you can realise your project

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Cammo replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I finally found the reason why Lego used Davy Jones hat for Blackbeard instead of a regular tricorn: Concept art It should work now. -
Fantastic, I just want the sets for the minifigs. Batman, The Joker & The Riddler (and perhaps the Superman set, just because you get all the main characters of the Superman Franchise in 1 set for a really good price.)
-
Where did you get this information Are the Batman sets also due for the first week of May?
-
It's not only France who has this problem. Belgium and The Netherlands don't sell these sets either. I sent an e-mail with this question to LEGO and they told me that they couldn't tell more about their marketing policy. He did give a hint about the release of those nasty Bionicle-ish figures... (you can read that e-mail in a post of mine in a couple of pages earlier.) Let's hope they release some sets when 'The Avengers' & 'The Dark Knight Rises' come out in Europe.

I asked Lego about their plans to release the sets in the Benelux (Belgium + the Netherlands) and this is what i got: Beste, Wij stellen het op prijs dat u contact met ons heeft opgenomen. Translation: We don't give information about our marketingplans by e-mail. All information is to be found on lego.com to throw some light on the matter: Batman, The Green Lantern, The Hulk, Cpt. America and Iron Man might preserve peace soon. Have fun building! Maybe we (Be & Holland) will see the sets with the release of the videogame. But this also confirm Green Lantern sets?
