  1. There's another elaborate preview on the Gandalf Arrives-set on the Brickshow page of Youtube. (for those who don't like all their jibberjabber, skip to 5:16)
  2. I don't know if you guys have seen this but here's a rather elaborate preview of the Helm's Deep set. Theoden is shown without the armor in this preview :)
  3. Sorry to interrupt your discussion but does somebody have a clue why Belgium & The Netherlands are ignored? I haven't seen any DC nor Marvel set in store. There aren't any banners or commercials that state that they will turn up in the first couple of months... I just hope that we don't get ignored with the LotR-sets...
  4. I also have the same dilemma. :)
  5. Love the display of the Fountain of Youth with the Isla de Muerta. I might 'borrow' that idea. One just got to love the minifigs designs in this line. Will you keep them set up like this or will some of the sets return in the boxes?
  6. If the 2nd wave is built up the same way as wave 1, we'll probably get: - 5 sets of the fifth installment - 4 sets of other movies (probably movie 1-3 because Movie 4 has already got its share) 4 sets from previous movies: XL set: The Flying Dutchman L set: The Kraken/ The Brethren Court M set: Tia Dalma's Shack / Sao Feng's bath-house S set: Smugglers Island / Cutler Beckett's Office/ Tortuga Crew Sign-up I know this is mere speculation but anyway
  7. Great, now i really want to see the design on the Flying Dutchman... Let's hope we see it in a year or two eventually.
  8. That stud is obviously there to carry the ring on his back.
  9. Amazon does often sell seperate minifigs or you could try Ebay if you don't use bricklink.
  10. I think that's a really nice idea: Treebeard + Pippin and Merry + that Orc that follows them in the woods. Sounds like the Shelob set in size to me. :)
  11. One of the best things about this theme is that we don't get clones of the main characters in every set. And with LotR it is't such a hassle because you can easily transform them to generic army-guys.
  12. It gives him more of an Arkham City-look. Notice that his mask is green instead of purple as well.
  13. Benelux is an official abbreviation of 'Belgium - The Netherlands - Luxembourg'. ;)
  14. Anyone noticed that The Riddler has a GREEN BOWLERHAT in the updated version of the dynamic duo escape set. Still hoping for an Benelux-release :) Source
  15. Just went to several stores today and guess what. No Lego Superheroes in Belgian stores... yet.
  16. I hope that TDK-sets include at scenes from previous movies but that's just wishful thinking...
  17. Maybe it's just a minifig or two from the Monster Hunters theme. That theme also has that colour pattern in their backgrounds of their boxart.
  18. If you take a good look to the Shelob there is a wheel underneath her body. Does this mean that you can swivel the legs or something. Look like an interesting play-feature for the kids. And on top of the picture, you can see the minifigures lined up. Too bad we can't get a good view of them ;)
  19. I read that the set with Gandalf, Frodo wears his outfit from in the movie which is a olive greenish shirt with oversized suspenders. And the Shelob-set he wears his gear like in all the other pictures released from Lego (with his brown vest). So this means it's worth picking both up.
  20. Very nice atmosphere you created there. With all the fuss with LotR Lego, it reminds me of the Hobbits' Shire.
  21. Ok but I see there are 3 figures missing Davy Jones, Bill turner and Maccus so that makes 31 in total. But back to LotR ;)
  22. Lego PotC had 25 different minifigures or something like that in the first wave. I'm going check it so I can tell you the exact number.
  23. Sorry to interrupt your discussion here but I come with the following message: More DC-sets are finally available in more regions of Europe (Online-shops that is.) Batcave Superman versus Lex Batwing battle over Gotham Catwoman Catcycle Chase Still no sign of the two-face robbery and Funhouse though I will check for them near the end of this week in my local stores.
  24. Amazing deal here in Belgium for those who don't have a Queen Anne's Revenge yet or other sets: Collishop.be / Colruyt.be QAR: -50 %: 60 EUR ($ 78) Fountain of youth: -50%: 14 EUR ($ 18) The Mill: -38%: 25 EUR ($ 32) Isla de la Muerte: -50%: 15 EUR ($ 20)
  25. Is it normal that the Superheroes sets haven't hit stores in Belgium or Europe yet? Was it the same case with other Batman sets a couple of years ago because I was in my dark ages then. And now for something completely different... (Monty Python reference) Does somebody know if the Batmansets based on the Nolan universe also include scenes from previous movies? (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight)
