This connector is probably made by Lego self and thus won't be available on the free market. -

Wow You did a real great job. To be honest, when I first saw the set on Lego's site my thoughts were: "where the heck are the backpacks" and much much more. I also wonder why those socalled designers do half work. After all YOU prove that with some clever thinking a much better design is possible within the same budget. -

It a functional MODEL. Not a mud racer like the Outdoor Racer 8675. You must be really out of your mind to use this set in an outdoor dirt situation. -

Mr NULL bricks is using a functional model for racing toy outside. Come on, buy yourself a Mugen Seiki 1:8 nitro car. That thing IS designed for abuse. Men o men... use a lego model in dirt... zero brains -
They will be availble on Ali Express for a very long time. Now that would be a real improvement, not to mention the junk wire TLG uses.

Odd experience with SBrick and PFx brick
coinoperator replied to zephyr1934's topic in LEGO Train Tech
If shorted collector you can fix that. Disassemble the motor, take out the anchor en scratch the dirt out between de collector segments. Maybe replace the brushes if you can find look-a-likes (or file others to fit) I've done such repairs on motors in vintage arkade games (pre video) but these were impossible to get hold of while PF motors are still plenty around. -

A bad motor, ie burned windings / shorted collector, may draw too much current wich causes the tension to drop below acceptable value's for the BT. -
