  1. Great one! It really keeps the spirit of the original Mercedes. Btw. Why has this been moved to scale model section? This set is more "technic" than many other MOCs that were on the forum.
  2. Time to create a WIP topic for a project that I am working on and off for the past 2 years. I keep on getting stuck and start doing something else and after it staring at me for long enough, I work on some of the elements and get stuck again - never ending loop. It's supposed to eventually become a model of Chevrolet Chevelle SS '70. I have been modifying every part of the car at least a few times. Here is some WIP photos: Version 1: At this stage It had working fake V6 (I know its wrong but couldn't fit V8), rear wheel drive, no gearbox, front and rear suspension. I have realized the scale was completely off - didnt use Sariel's scaler yet. Version 2: Modified front bumper Version 3 WIP: Discovered Sariel's scaler and started rebuilding the whole chassis and bodywork. Progress so far: I can't decide on the hood shape as replicating the original shape with the 11947 panels doesn't let me have the white stripes without stickers. The back bumper with lights is another tricky part I am stuck on as the car has a funny shape and after quite a few iterations, I might just leave it straight At least Im trying to get the scale right now. Another thing is I am trying to do it with technic parts purely (with just a few system parts here and there) and seeing fantastic creations like the challenger below, I am starting to consider moving to mix of technic and system parts as some of the shapes are impossible to recreate with just liftarms and panels. If I were to do that, I am facing buying a lot of parts as I dont own almost any system pieces... Wish me luck - maybe I will be able to take the "[WIP]" from the title of the topic.
  3. I love all of your creations. They hit the perfect vibe for me! Please do more! Is there a chance for instructions to this one in particular?
  4. This was fun! Any idea when voting will take place?
  5. I absolutely agree with you there! The previous version was more appealing to myself as well. Just playing around with this concept a bit and will be rebuilding the front back to the entry one
  6. Steerable version (draft with out suspension or finishing the look of the front fork)
  7. Very cool! I like it more than the A-model!
  8. I have never driven a motorcycle to be honest so my concept was just for fun really. I guess the wide flat tire on the front would be another huge issue for a real size machine to be steered
  9. Custom Fat Boi Features: - Front suspension - V6 Fake engine - 2 speed gearbox with neutral I wish I had Tumbler tires...
  10. Finished! More pics on bricksafe https://bricksafe.com/pages/Ivorrr/tc19---bike
  11. Update: Looking at my progress, I will probably not finish before the deadline but I am gooing to do it anyway for fun. So far: - V6 Fake Engine - 2 speed gearbox - chaing drive Forgot to take a picture of the connection between engine and gearbox - it's with rubber
  12. Since I was able to return home to my LEGO collection after Christmass, I decided to start playing around a few concepts that I was thinking about when read that there is a new TC in december. First idea on how the bike will look like: - Fat tires - Steering handles low That's for a start and we will see how it will evolve from there. No idea about an engine / gearbox yet (if there will be any at all)
  13. Simply amazing! Love tanks and LEGO - this the perfect connection!
  14. Nice shaping with system bricks! Looks nice
  15. Replacing mine's wheels to these ones as soon as I am back home! This looks way more natural this way for me! Thanks for sharing
  16. I came back from dark ages about 3-4 years ago and have a similar feeling. I have too high expectations of my MOC so a bit shy posting work here as it is way too basic compared to the awesome work of other creators. But reading through the points raised I think the WIP topic might be a good idea to get some feedback on my progress and items I am currently struggling to do in Technic. I will set up one soon for my Chevelle 70'
  17. Looks like the first trials of people making autonomous vacuums. This is actually brilliant and interesting.
  18. Sariel creating fake accounts to post even more tanks! All jokes aside (no offence to either Tarix nor Sariel obviously), great model! It's huge It's got a great amount of detail It's got nice working mechanisms It drives quite fast for such a huge monster It shoots! Love it!
  19. Love the old gangsta design! Brings back memories from GTA 2... Damnation! No donation - no salvation! Or Elvis has left the building!
  20. Amazing idea! I feel recently you guys are stepping into another level of engineering with all the CVT and automatic gearbox. I am wondering if we will ever see an automatic in a LEGO set
  21. Congratulations to the winner and everyone participating! Even though my entry wasn't even close to being as awesome as others, I had great fun having a clear goal for building the MOC. I hope for another contest comming soon as another furlough period is on the horizon and need to get my hands busy
  22. I think that it can actually have quite a number of applications! Think about crawlers for example. In addition, any modern car has an option to have an automatic transmission. Supercars as well as LEGO supercars are usually large and heavy so can't go too fast so it also seems an option if you want to use it for a motorised MOC. Thanks for sharing Paweł. Brilliant!
  23. I can't say anything else than OH MY GOD! So many functions! Congratulations man! Simply amazed
