This set looks so odd IMO The building is too "thin"

anyone here is like me? I feel like hard to get someone who also likes City theme. I mostly buy only City, sometimes modular buildings. I also buy star wars, but only when they look so nice or on real deal, but most of the time I do not avoid City unless they are really not appealing to me. Anyone same here? Is there any leak or estimation about the summer city????

I think neither Bricklink nor eBay has price better than Amazon, for new sets. Bricklink seller's shipping cost can kill you

I'm certainly not the kind of people who didn't do homework, on the contrary, I keep checking the price of my favorite sets almost every day and keep doing a lot of homework, but it is still so hard to get the best deal. Why Amazon or other providers do not like to put the City Mail Plane on deals? I almost never see it on special sales.

When is the best time to buy new City sets? I am always sensitive to price because I am always patient enough, I don't need to get one thing I like immediately. However, looks like I always cannot catch the best time to buy a City set. When I think the price is very good and get it, then it could still drop a lot more afterwards... What is your opinion?

I have got most of the City sets released in recent years. The only regret is that I did not get the city hospital 60204 when it was on sale here, the best price I saw was $60

I like the new design of road plates, because it is more durable and flexible. Current base plate and road plate are more fragile, and not flexible at all.

My complaint about the new City sets is that they are trying to make the buildings e.g. 60291 and the 60292 thinner and thinner, I think the reason behind is that they want people to buy more of the same sets to make MOC

Yes, the new road plate is very appealing. I have been resisting myself from getting a piece of old road plate but at the start of 2021, I will get a lot of it... (the new road plates) Great to see that Lego starts to bring back road plates for their sets, I have skipped many City sets with buildings because they contain no base plate.

I almost forgot, we should get 31118 Surfer Beachhouse as well. It is very awesome

As for Lego 60292 Town Center. Just did a search, it will have 792 pieces. Um, probably it will be marked for $100. I'll be able to get it for 20% off usually, from the official marked price, Um... I'll wait.... the simple building is not very satisfactory.

I have been waiting painfully for farm sets for many many years.. Retired sets's prices are ridiculous in local markets that I will not get... It is a good sign to have the City Tractor. I think Lego is testing the water, I wish there will be more farm sets in the mid of 2021 or the start of 2021 I'll probably skip the city center, but not yet decided. I guess its price would be at least $100+, while my personal opinion is that it doesn't worth this price. If it's less than $100 I will likely get it, but probably won't be less than $100

Sets to get for sure, without hesitation 1.City roadwork truck 2.City sports car 3.City Skate park 4.City Road plates 5.City Tractor 6.City Beach Rescue ATV 7.City Holiday Camper Van 8.City Modern Family House Sets I'll probably get, or skip, hesitating City Airshow Jet Transporter Sets to skip City Police Helicopter - Nothing special I've got too many small helicopters already City Police Prisoner Transport - Nothing special again. City Race Buggy Transporter City Fire Ladder Truck and other Fire sets because I have got some better Fire sets that are retired from local markets. I'm disappointed in the City Police and Fire sets produced in recent years. I have only got 60239 and it is the only Police sets I have purchased in recent years.

LEGO 60270 Main Square is a real surprise for me! I thought only disappointing 60271 60272 and 60273 are the new city sets that I definitely won't get any one of them..... Under the epidermic and difficult time I am really appreciated that Lego is releasing city sets more frequently..... because I buy only city and modular buildings...

Where did you buy new bricks in bulk for £10 gbp per kilo? I think you can only get new mixed bricks from Lego store and no where else right?

5 kg of mixed and used Lego bricks and they are mostly from City sets 5-10 years ago, nothing particular taken away, e.g. mini-figures, base plates, How much will you pay for it? Assume his claim is true. He is asking for $100. Is it a real deal? I don't know too much about price of items sold like this, I almost always buy new sets in box but I don't want to over pay for something. Please advise thanks so much.
