By past experience, could Lego release new sets in the mid or late of a year? or do they usually release all new sets of the year on the shelf in early of a year e.g. January February? I want to get some Police trucks but looks like there isn't any for this year. If I need to wait for a year long for the possibility then I will try to get some older sets of good deals.

I never buy at Lego store because the price is usually the highest, sometimes 30-40% overpriced. I like to wait for special offers on Amazon -
Usually which Amazon sells Lego the cheapest on average?
ks6349 replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
£250 is not the best price. Here in Asia it's around £210 - £220. 100% Authentic. However, they are usually only sold in small shop by one man bank. I don't know how they can get that cheap. In fact, I like to buy at small shops in which they look reliable. They don't accept refunds or returns so manipulating the bricks inside sneakily and returning to the shop is not possible. I avoid buying on Amazon unless their price is extraordinary low -

I personally hate stickers and the tuning shop looks like having too many stickers on the major parts Service station may also have a lot of stickers but I think they are not in significant position which would not affect the overall appearance But generally speaking, I have got most of the Lego City and Creator Expert of recent years and in most cases unless it does not have too many elements that I don't like e.g. forest / jungle or prison in police station (I've got NO police stations with prison) I will probably also get it when the price is right. I've also got some sets I don't like too much but they were on a real great deal on Amazon. e.g. the Creator 3in1 modular buildings On my list, there are "Must buy", "Must NOT buy" and "Probably buy, but not a must” -

My rank of choice 1. Lego 60252 (Construction bulldozer). I've been expecting anything about construction for so long. I have got a lot of construction workers and I hope to put them in my city! 2. Lego 60250 (Mail Plane). I think Lego hasn't released anything about postage for quite many years! 3. Lego 60249 (Street Sweeper). Very beautiful nice small value truck that I can buy a lot to put on the road plates everywhere to keep my city clean. 4. Lego 60257 (Service Station). I should get it, but not too soon. The price per piece is still high for this set now, I can wait for deals or discounts. What I will probably not buy 1. Lego 60267 2. Lego 60258 3. Lego 60253 (In fact I like ice cream truck but I don't like to take care of too many stickers) 4.Lego 60243 (I like Police and Helicopter, but it looks like there is not much difference compared to other Police helicopters of recent years that I already have got.) -

roller coaster? 60221? or the smaller creator 3in1 one? IMO, among Amazon USA, UK and AU, AU and USA usually have the best deals, but not UK. -

Last few years we did not have Service station (60257). I also like 60252 construction site and sweeping truck (60249) so much !! I will get 2-3 of 60249 to be put on the road plate and also 60254 the race boat transporter, in which I am very expecting. In 2019 we have harvest transporter I like it but it's quite weird to have a harvest truck in the city.... Book store!!! Great! I don't like the brown color of the Garage corner in 2019 !! Will burn a lot of money in January!!!! Happy new year all -
I perfectly understand that they usually ship to their own country and don't ship internationally, and even if they do ,the shipping cost is high but neglecting all these factors, because I have a few friends who are flight attendants and travelers so shipping cost or location is not an issue. Which Amazon usually sells Lego (I mostly interested in City and Creator / Expert only) the cheapest or gives good deals on average?? Amazon USA ? Canada? UK ? Australia? Deutschland? Japan?? or any other?? Which one do you recommende

Great Idea that was never thought of until you told

=As I said, I only want to wrap sets that I know I will not play it in the next few years so that I want to wrap them so as to avoid dirt, dust, humid, and yes everything and if in the future I am interested in other newer sets that I no longer want the old set I will sell it away so keeping the box in good condition is my wishes

In a big toy shop I see that they protect their Lego sets by wrapping with kinds of transparent plastic wrap but I am not sure what they are, I touched it and it was certainly not the kitchen wrap but I really don't know what they are. The customer service was new and she did not know it too they said all sets were wrapped on arrival, maybe done by other department. I want to wrap some of my Lego sets too because I know I will not have time to play with them in the next 1 or 2 years. Not too thick, could anyone guess it out?

Awesome Awesome Awesome. Looks much better than the Garage corner before. One that is A MUST to get for those who like buildings

I still buy from Amazon, ebay because there is no way to avoid this problem totally, but problem is problem, I am suggesting the possibilities in which you just do not have enough evidence or support to say that this is unlikely. You are only imagining that you are a doctor and speak your own word saying the other is paranoia. Your purpose behind is debatable

How do ebay/brinklink sellers get their parts that cheap?
ks6349 replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks but Do you know if the parts sold by Lego.com are new or returned or refurbished item???? Thanks There is no mini upper part for police. Disappointing -
Incredibly negative about other people? Then why don't you have your door opened during the night and why do you keep your money in the bank for that incredibly low interest rate? keeping piles of banknotes on your trouser is always more convenient. Everyone is holy and nobody will steal or rob you If you are still not convinced. I tell you a fact. https://media.weibo.cn/article?id=2309404334619846696997&from=singlemessage&isappinstalled=0 This is what happened in the most popular and the biggest toy shopping center in Hong Kong where there are up to several tens of shops selling only Lego sets. It's the report from a tourist that he got Lego sets manipulated and bricks are swapped with the sneaky methods we have suggested. You can say that it's another language that you don't understand, you can say that this is a fake report from malicious customers or his competitors. Whatever, I don't mind.

How do ebay/brinklink sellers get their parts that cheap?
ks6349 replied to ks6349's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh !! Can I buy parts (mostly minifigures) from official Lego.com directly ?? I DIDN'T know that Lego.com has bricks and parts!!!!!!!! -
For most Lego sets there are not too many mini-figures, and usually not a single set will contain too many identical bricks but there are tons of people selling them. Where did they source? For example. Just $10 I'll get 50 heads which means $0.2 per head. Does Lego provide parts to some individual resellers directly?? In my area most individual sellers only sell a complete set.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-LOT-OF-50-NEW-MINIFIGURE-HEADS-WITH-SUNGLASSES-BEACH-BIKE-TOWN-CITY-PARTS/293070705835?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D40733%26meid%3Df4241ab21ef2424b94a5bcb4744e3603%26pid%3D100678%26rk%3D15%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D352771820984%26itm%3D293070705835%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100678.m3607&_trkparms=pageci%3Aa3ca5af1-1448-11ea-9b32-74dbd1809453|parentrq%3Ac1e8a8ca16e0a4d2769c9848ffd3a477|iid%3A1

They mark up the price probably because they know that for those who love it they will pay premium for the instructions and for those who are not into it they won't give a penny. For me, quite pretty sure I will buy this instruction, however, at the moment, I am still learning how to pick from bricklink.....

I did a search last night on eBay for MOC church because I always wish to build a church but Lego never released a church set. Note: I have no religion. Approximately How much in total to get all parts needed for this big beautiful church?? Could you make a guess for me?? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOC-Church-Cathedral-costum-LEGO-building-Instructions-PDF-files-only/174100157547 Is it difficult to get major parts needed?? The seller wasn't very responsive so I ask the question here.

I am NOT worried about it. Because Lego bricks is not to eat. BUT, as I have said many times, I am suggesting possibilities that are possible to happen, easy to happen, and the likelihood is unpredictable. I have repeated the reasons for so many times any late comers could easily find in the above message
