I'm not trying to challenge or argue with you but can you just give one example on new or not-yet-retired City or 3in1 sets that they still have competitive price after LOCAL shipping cost within their OWN country? e.g. item price + local shipping cost = still competitive. You don't need to worry about where I am, UK, USA, Germany, Italy, Australia, no problem.

I do not mean retired sets, I don't normally get any retired sets unless I really like it because price is my first consideration. In the past I once got some real deal on Amazon, but it was really "lightning" and the deal ended very quickly and I think I was just lucky. For example I got 31068 in 2018 for $20.9 US dollars. However, it was NOT labelled as "lightning deal" or "Limited time offer" or any other label In fact, otherwise than Amazon, Walmart and Target where can I get Lego sets for deals sometimes? Please do not recommend BL again and again, I am tired of it. BL may be good for polybags or parts but they are definitely NOT for sets. Shipping cost can kill you even within the same country.
