Asia isn't a small market. Many people here wish to have this. Of course they don't have to put everything in one set that would make the single price item so costly which is a risk to the company, but they can try to release a set with 2-3 floors first with expandable design, if it sells well, they can keep releasing more floors which can sit above the previous set or sit alone on the base plate if someone who likes it but misses the earlier set. Now the modular buildings in Creator Expert is actually doing this but they are only doing it "Horizontally". I wish there would be something "Vertically". Wouldn't it be a new great idea

Nope, watch this video first. By nature of the Lego bricksm, I don't think Lego could make things like this real, however, I'd really hope Lego would enhance the interior details of their building. Yes, many buildings in Creator Expert has very good details, but they are mostly houses, if not all, I hope they are creating apartment, this is more common in Asian countries.
-
I wish Lego would release kind of building like apartment with 10-20 floors yes it sounds too monotonous but many buildings now could vary a lot inside at different heights.

Don't underestimate the power of building up dust, I once put my small truck in my bedroom where it is well-ventilated and air-conditioned, within a several months it just had good amount of dust that you won't notice with naked eyes but once touched with finger you can immediately feel that wow, it's very dusty and dirty!

I don't sort Lego bricks by shape or color, I don't sort, I only store. Using zip bag is the best way to store bricks, I cannot think of any other ways better than that.

If stickers aren't a factor of cost (as you said), then many things aren't a factor of cost, then they can make two versions, one for kids who like to apply stickers, another one for kids or adults who dislike stickers. Making two versions will never increase the cost, it is only creating another box and putting other bricks like doing another set. But why not now?? Because it's just about cost. -

I hate the ice-cream truck because it has too many stickers. I understand cost of printed bricks are higher but Lego isn't priced cheap, I just hate stickers and I would never understand those who protest for stickers. Sticker is wrong and wrong is wrong. No excuse. -
Wow, that's why I didn't know. I never buy those creatures set. I only buy buildings
-
I will buy overpriced set, but only if it is not going off the track too much and I like it I will buy it. Sometimes you'll be paying $10 or $20 more for a recently retired set that you like it's fine, it's okay. However, I will never pay $4000 for that set 6399 this kind of business is not to be encouraged

Yes, I cannot agree more too. But it may be their pricing and marketing skills to overprice first for a few years, and then after some interested people getting hungry then they make some good discount and some fishes will fall into the trap. Since after their discount the price is still ridiculous Some fishes are not clever enough.

which sometimes even has a 4th or 5th downloadable instruction????? which 3in1 sets have a 4th or 5th instruction????

At the moment I am using this thin plastic wrap to wrap my boxed sets but the problem is it is VERY sticky and not easy to handle.... I thought about using paper but I won't be able to look at the sets Any alternatives? As I found that it is not good to clean the box with damp cloth so wrapping them is the only option to reduce dust building up and better cleaning

How many individual copies of each set does LEGO produce?
ks6349 replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you are this curious to know there is still a way to figure it out but it is quite a waste of time. I once often visited a local toy shop I was familiar with and often waited in his shop when new sets were expected to come on the day, because I wanted to get fresh boxes so that it was perfect. Then you can estimate how many copies of a particular set he has and then you can make estimation on other shops too, my experience is except Amazon or other big things, most small one-man-bank toy shops are of similar scale so they are getting similar quantities of products, then you can make your estimation. Now I don't wait for fresh sets because I am not a perfect box addict and the price isn't the best when it is freshly released. -
I don't normally buy parts, unless one time, I helped a friend of mine to buy it because he was out of town. The best price I could find in local shops was about $0.5 (USD) for one piece of 1x4 it was the best price I could find locally. I don't know about BL because their shipping cost is often too high and I am worried that their bricks aren't authentic

inside of the bag? what bag? Lego's bag is a loose yellow paper bag that has little use against dust I put my boxed set in a paper bag for storage but in less than two months it was filled with a good thin layer of dust already.
-
The biggest problem is- for example, I have a general idea of what a building I want to build, but it is normal that my direct human sense is to put a base plate, build a few walls, and then the ceiling, I cannot think of how I can use the bricks to implement the idea in my mind. When I look at the instruction booklets of a commercial set, I don't understand how the designer could think of all those complicated steps and details to create the buildings step by step
-
Do they have a program or software which will help them create the basic structure of the desired result or do they just create on their own starting from zero? I always want to try to create something different because even with 3in1 creator sets, which come with three designs and instruction booklets it doesn't take too long to get tired, and then, all I can do is to either dissemble them and put them away, or to put it on my desktop as a decoration... I have spent quite some time and effort trying to create a different building on my own but I could hardly build anything
-
No, the box got damaged for real, I wrung the cloth well, it just really made a small piece of paper get wet and fell off. I mean original Lego box, not a plastic container
-
Last time, my Lego box was covered with some dust, I wiped it with a damp cloth which was wrung well so it was just.. damp. But one of the edge was damaged, a piece of paper fell off. How do you wipe the dust off?

except these two someone local offered me 60185 for approx. $10 (usd), Oh, my god I got it for $20, what a big loss! yes, some sets are really overpriced but I don't know how those people could get it this cheap they are individuals, not a big supplier -

Ice cream truck is bad because it has too many stickers that they can wear off easily and quickly after a few regular wiping and cleaning. I don't like to bother buying individual stickers online I really don't like this, bricks could last a long long time, but how many copies of the stickers will I need? So I never put on stickers and they are just put away.
