The new Shang-Chi was incredible. Does make the car chase set look even more pathetic though I definitely wouldn't expect to get a 3rd set anytime soon, partially as Shang-Chi isn't really one of Marvel's big hyped up crossover movies like @THELEGOBATMAN said but mostly because 2022 is already going to be packed with sets. As for Abomination I'm a bit worried about how LEGO would make him (if they ever do to begin with), considering printing the frill thingies on his head would look awful and I can't see them making a new headmold.

The Slave I looks fanastic, especially love that new Boba figure Gideon's cruiser on the other hand just keeps getting more and more disappointing. What little interior is there looks decent enough but not being able to close the ship with minifigs inside is a terrible design flaw. Honestly with the short and stubby nose sections, oversized turbolasers, oversized "spine" and oversized bridge this set feels more like a poorly done caricature than an actual LEGO representation of the in-universe vessel.

The Giga doesn't resemble the Indominus even a little bit aside from them both being large carnivorous theropods. Recoloring the Indominus for one would be a travesty of epic proportions.

You do realise that it would be physically impossible for her to hatch from an...... egg, right? And what would Dominion even have to explain? It's extremely obvious how she was cloned.

Cool to see the new sets revealed so soon but this video is one of the cringiest things I've ever seen.

Yeah I didn't phrase that too well What I'm trying to say is that while none of the builds from this years sets, Hogsmeade being the only exception, are interesting to me as I either have no use for them (Harry & Hermione, Chess, Fawkes, D2C) or they just suck (the Hogwarts sets) they're not the only things that make up these sets. Instead of keeping my focus on the uninteresting/terrible builds for months on end I'd much rather just focus on the good stuff we're getting like the figures, new creatures, prints and stickers which I can all eventually get from BL and use to upgrade my 2018-2020 castle. It sucks that it's looking like future of this theme might be at Bricklink for me but on the other hand it's also kind of a good thing as it allows me to focus on my other 2 favorite themes (Jurassic and Marvel), which are both getting a ton of sets next year. I already know my main focus for 2022 will lie with the Jurassic World: Dominion sets so saving a lot of money on Potter this year, while infuriating, also felt surprisingly relieving.

It's kinda inspired by the PS4 design but other than that it's completely made up.

As someone who prefers the later movies/books over the earlier ones and is already getting tired of PS/CoS sets I totally understand why it's incredibly disappointing that no DH sets are seemingly on the horizon. It also doesn't help that the reason Marcos has given us is straight up bs as that same logic would apply to sets like Rise of Voldemort or even the Beauxbatons Carriage. But that said I don't think this major shift of the theme is entirely bad. Sure the Hogwarts builds are all bloody awfull, there's a fair amount of sets that don't interest me whatsoever and in the end there's only like 1 or 2 sets I actually like but there's still a lot of things to love. We've gotten a fair amount of new and interesting figures, new animals, new accessories, a lot of really cool new stickers and the Hogsmeade set is just bloody fantastic in it's entirety. I'll have to wait a little longer for it but eventually I'll just get the stuff I do like off Bricklink, which means I end up having quite a bit of leftover budget to spend elsewhere

Those 3 are amongst my favorites too! Others I adore are 'Welcome To Jurassic World', 'Pavane for a Dead Apatosaurus', 'Operation Blue Blood', 'Jurassic Pillow Talk' and 'To Free or Not to Free'. We're getting a bit off-topic though (which is my fault for the most part ) so we better end it here

Yeah definitely, fingers crossed they end up putting this preview on YouTube once Universal realises they made a grave mistake in alienating so many fans. I'm not 100% sure where but I'm pretty sure the track used for the preview of the preview has been used elsewhere as well. Still a great track though! Now that we're on the topic of Giacchino's Jurassic soundtracks anyway, what are you favorite tracks?

Doesn't really mean anything. Most LEGO sets have a lifespan of 1,5 to 2 years. Fake.

Not sure if we've seen the same recordings but the audio quality in the one I've seen is fine. There's honestly not much to the soundtrack anyway as the majority of the music is reused from "This Title Makes Me Jurassic" from the Fallen Kingdom OST (I'm a Giacchino fan too ).

So am I but the recorded version will have to do for now. The only thing Universal has accomplished here is piss off a large part of the fanbase.

David Sandberg (director of both Shazam films) has revealed the new suits for the whole Marvel/Shazam family. These would make for some fantastic figures for sure!

Nope and they're unlikely to come out for a while if at all considering it's a Netflix-exclusive show. Your only option is taking a Netflix subscription (the first month is free so if you cancel on time you won't have to pay anything) or streaming the episodes illegally, plenty of sites where you can do that.

It's a pretty good addition to the new style of Hogwarts, which I'm admittedly not a huge fan of anyway, but here are some pointers since you asked for them: - The vines on the top of the Chess section make it look like it's supposed to be Devil's Snare and go directly underneath Fluffy's trapdoor. I don't recall the actual chamber having those vines either so maybe it's a good idea to just remove them alltogether. - The Chess chamber has a very specific design for it's outer walls that I'm kinda missing. Maybe if you replace one row of tiles with 1x2's you could use the last row of studs to include some of that wall detail. That would make the limited space set itself apart from other sections and really make it obvious that it's supposed to be the Chess chamber. - The Winged Keys chamber looks good but the sticks holding onto the keys stick out like a sore thumb and make the upper area of the section look very cluttered. LEGO has a large selection of trans-clear pieces so maybe if you use those and try out a number of things you can make the keys look more natural. I would highly recommend checking out some MOCs other fans have done of the Winged Keys chamber! - As @Vindicare also said you should definitely change the masonry bricks in the rockwork for normal bricks. It makes the rockwork look like a man-made part of the castle so it's best to limit the use of these pieces to the castle itself. - It doesn't really bother me but maybe you could try rearranging some of the olive green parts on the exterior. If you look at the official LEGO sets you'll see that these parts (they represent a kind of moss) are placed in the smaller corners of the rockwork, in your module they feel a bit more random. I would highly recommend playing around a little bit and looking at what the LEGO designers did. - Remove the dark green on the exterior. It looks really out of place as it doesn't appear anywhere else on the exterior of your model or the actual sets. Hope these pointers are usefull for you, have fun building future projects or refining this one!

Owen and Claire aren't just included because they're cheap to make and LEGO has a limited budget but also because they're the face of the entire franchise. LEGO is trying to get the attention of kids here so with a more kid-oriented franchise like Jurassic (at least in terms of toys) it's obvious that you'll get their attention faster if you use the two most recognisable characters. It sucks for collectors but it's great for kids as that makes it super easy to get the main characters.

It's an account that never posts leaks and the picture is very low quality, not to mention that it's way too early for more physical Ninjago leaks. Definitely fake.

You're free to your own opinion of course but comparing the 2021 sets to the 2020 ones is a pretty unfair comparison. Everyone knew this wave was going to have a very small budget because of Dominion so if you were expecting to get sets similar to past years you were already setting yourself up for major disappointment. And this is very much my personal opinion but the 2020 sets really weren't that good as some say they are: - Lab: great dinosaurs, terrible figures and a meh build with a disgusting amount of stickers. - 4+: just terrible all around. - Batmobile: great dinosaurs, terrible figures and a godawful build. - Gyro: fantastic all around. At least the 2021 sets have fantastic minifigures and overall just good and useful builds in 3/4 sets, which is more than I can say for the 2020 wave. Even if LEGO learned about the delay earlier than we thought the budget for 2021 in it's entirety was made up long before that. A company can't just conjure extra budget out of thin air, that's not how it works.

Especially considering their stickers wear off after a certain number of years. Luckily most CS reps are very understanding to the issue and are more than willing to send you some spare sheets, which is exactly how I got my 4 Diagon Alley spares which I'll be keeping around for when the original stickers start wearing off.

I mean, is there really that much to be let down about? It has always been obvious that the remaining 2021 sets would be a small-budget bonus wave so as far as I'm concerned it mostly lived up to expectations.
