  1. Not sure if this has been answered before but do we know if there's a specific reason why some pieces can only be ordered by phone? Seems a bit odd to not make pieces you're selling anyway available on your site
  2. Congrats! I built it earlier this month and it's by far the best Marvel set ever made imo, the build is simply incredible!
  3. Hogsmeade is by far my favorite Harry Potter set of the year as it looks fantastic and lives up to the standards set by the 2018-2020 sets. I don't really have a clear least favorite set but aside from Hogsmeade, the Accessory Pack and the Advent Calendar the 2021 sets in general are a very mixed bag for me.
  4. Do you guys reckon the Dark Trooper will reappear in a battlepack like how the Death Trooper, Praetorian Guard and Sith Trooper were all introduced in a large/expensive set and later popped up again in a BP? Absolutely adore the figure.
  5. I never said anything about people not being allowed to be disappointed, that's a disgusting mindset to begin with. Obviously people can be disappointed but there's no reason to assume the entire series has a lower budget based on a single disappointing new mold.
  6. So one mold, on an otherwise excellent figure, doesn't turn out exactly the way people wanted to and suddenly we're able to deduce that the budget for this CMF is smaller? Alright then
  7. Bit expensive but Elrond is a good one. It's a bit hard to see but it's dark red on the back side:
  8. The hair/tiara could've been better with dualmolding but still looks great as is. The rest of the figure is bloody fantastic.
  9. Probably one of my favorite (Marvel) figures of all time. So glad they finally did my favorite character justice
  10. I mean, even when ignoring Feige's comments about the X-Men I think it's very safe to say that they wouldn't waste a Wolverine reveal on a cagefight in Shang-Chi
  11. Pretty cool how the Trexler gives us our very first female and black Stormtroopers (excluding Finn as he's a main character). Female head might be new? Don't think I've seen it before EDIT: turns out both the black and female heads are new! That's amazing!
  12. Looking at pictures of the figure from BrickFanatics' review it looks like the helmet itself is made of hard plastic, which makes sense as it would've been a bit hard to pull off figures if it were rubber. Including the ponytail in the mold would probably mean that it would also have to be hard plastic, resulting in a high(er) chance of it snapping off and getting swallowed by a kid. Or at least that's why I assume it was excluded.
  13. I couldn't possibly care less about the UCS Gunship or any other UCS set for that matter, not my kind of set at all. And me being "excessively harsh" (which I disagree with) doesn't just come down to a disappointing Star Wars reveal but just the entire stream in general: - The stream is on LEGO's site, which everyone knows is held up by duct tape, and is therefore totally unreliable. - The tone of the stream is all over the place. First it's aimed at AFOLs and the next minute it has done a total 180 and shifted to a Dora the Explorer-like show. - The interviews felt incredibly rushed. Instead of actually taking the time to ask some interesting questions the entire thing is just scripted to go through the program as fast as possible. - Pretty much no set reveals whatsoever. Mario could've been saved for today but they didn't, they could've teased some upcoming sets from several themes but they didn't, I could go on like this.
  14. Well that was a massive waste of time. Honestly LEGO CON in it's entirety was a hot steaming pile of garbage.
  15. "Expect" is the wrong word here as I was just joking around. What I'm really expecting is to get nothing for Shazam! Fury of the Gods whatsoever.
  16. Not 100% on this yet but the "new" Red Skull figure seems to just be the 2020 fig with Snape/Hux legs.
  17. Let's just say FalconFan wasn't joking when he said you'd be surprised at what LEGO considered Icons.
  18. It's 2 of the 1x1 flower pieces.
  19. Solid set, love the figures although Korg's unprinted legs really do hurt the look of the figure. The framed photo of Thor and Valkyrie is cute. Definitely the most surprising thing about this set is the sheer amount of beer bottles (and a barrel) they included, LEGO is really leaning in hard on the alcohol here
  20. "You have no idea what she is. What do you think drove Hammond and Lockwood apart? Huh? Lockwood never had a grandchild, he just wanted his daughter back.... and he had the technology. He created another, he made her again." - Mills This one bit of dialogue pretty much explains it and I'm surprised how many people have completely missed it, even 3 years after Fallen Kingdom's release. It's roughly the same process as the cloning of dinosaurs except here there's no need to extract DNA from fossils or fill any gaps as it's 100% genuine and complete coming straight off Maisie 1.0's corpse. The idea of a human hatching from an egg is absurd and makes no bloody sense no matter how you look at it as it's just physically impossible so Lockwood's only options would've been a surrogate or some kind of elaborate incubator that simulates a lifeforms growth cycle in utero. The line gives us enough context to know it wasn't particularly hard to do, just extremely unethical and morally wrong. Lockwood went through with it regardless and destroyed his relationship with Hammond in the process. It's a simplified explanation but I'm not going into it any deeper than this as Mills' line on it's own is already more than enough to deduce the process behind Maisie 2.0's creation.
