A new pic of Mysterio leaked but this time with the smoke piece. I really hope this is just a case of awfull lighting because those colors really don't work for me Looks more like some Hidden Side goo than actual smoke

Nothing and the chances it will happen are close to nonexistant in the first place. I know many folks won't like what I'm about to say but Ninjago simply doesn't have the draw a CMF needs (just look at how poorly the TLNM one performed) and is too niche (especially if you take into consideration what the Ninjago fans actually want from such a CMF).

Could just be me but I really dislike how the new hair looks in combination with a mask piece, makes it look like Lloyd has a massive forehead

I do like that LEGO is trying to explore some new areas with the Potter theme, things like these upcoming books or the buildable Hedwig. Hedwig for example is a great set but for someone who has to make some cuts due to budgetary reasons it's great to be able to skip a set like that. I'm also really happy with the delay for Jurassic World: Dominion, besides that movie desperately needing more time to be properly finished it also frees up around 400 euro in my 2021 LEGO budget (assuming most sets are Dominion based and thus delayed)

I would expect new torso's for everyone, a couple of new faces and a new mold or 2. Legprinting would be nice to get but with the cast being this large I wouldn't count on it

Same here. I dropped DC, Star Wars and (to a lesser extent) Ninjago so I can keep up with Potter, Jurassic World and Marvel.

The new color for that bowl piece looks good on Mysterio, not interested in the figure itself but I'm curious as to how it will look on the movie figure Years ago I made the choice to stick with the MCU sets (or things that are similar like the SE game sets) and ignore all the comic sets LEGO would release because of budgetary reasons. When I heard we we're getting Reyes I obviously realised it wouldn't be the MCU version I would want to have but the comic version, though even as a comic figure I was excited to get it as the MCU/comic designs for Reyes are pretty close. In the end I personally really dislike this figure because, as you said, it poorly represents the source material.

Wouldn't surprise me if I am the only one who thinks this but I would take a reuse of the old head over this new head any day At least the old head would make it look like the AoS version of Reyes

In the end it's your decision but this sentence tells me you're not sold on selling it. Only advice I can give is don't sell it unless you're absolutely certain you want/have to

SDCC sets have a very limited production run so it would surprise me if they hadn't sold every copy they had yet

Appreciate the concern but as I (and others before me) have said before that's not how these things work

The 2 figures we've seen so far are great so I hope we're getting more of these in the future. Although I'd prefer future books not to take additional set slots as 2021 is way too expensive for my taste.

Flitwick looks really good! Glad they brought back Dwalins beard from The Hobbit instead of using the beard from the prelims

The first few days after release are a must but especially considering Lucasfilm themselves is posting 'spoilers' as of today and people have had the entire weekend to watch it we should be good now

I understand all the talk about LEGO trying to make Ghost Rider less scary and therefore more marketable to kids but altering a design for those reasons doesn't mean the end result has to be as hideous as this. I'd even argue that the face they made is scarier than the source material it's based on

Yeah same here, it was the only Marvel set I was excited for but after seeing this I'll just get the Miles and Cap mechs and call it a day

As cool as something like that sounds you'd also have to consider how likely it is for LEGO to make such a thing. The Tale of the Three Brothers is a story pretty much centered around death and how he gets 3 souls to give themselves over to him, one of them gives himself up willingly but the other 2 involve murder and suicide. I doubt it's something LEGO would want to make
