And yes, I love the Middle Eastern theme! Thank you for the kind words Lego Train 12 Volts, I appreciate the support you've shown to my MOCS . Glad you like the shapes, colours, & Persian feel!
  2. I was registered to exhibit at Brickvention 2025 this weekend (Australia’s premier Lego Exhibition/Convention), however broke my foot and was sadly unable to exhibit or attend. Inspirations: Lego Ideas – Life of Persia; Bricklink – Middle Eastern Bazaar Village of Persia 3 by Samuel Sheppard, on Flickr Village of Persia 2 by Samuel Sheppard, on Flickr Village of Persia 1 by Samuel Sheppard, on Flickr Thanks for looking and happy building for 2025.

  5. Thanks for your considered feedback Feur Zug . Vines are something I will have to be brave and try on my castles at some point.
  6. Old MOC's in new colour schemes. The first, Knights of Clubs' Castle, is a recolour of Candlebark Castle. The second, Forestmen's Fortress, is a recolour of Wizard's Spire. 7. Here are some pieces which I have seen added recently which could be helpful for castle building: WINDOW FRAME 1X2X2 2/3 in black (currently OOS) here PYRAMID BRICK 2X2X2/73° in sand green here NOSE CONE 2X2X2 in medium nougat (currently OOS) here BEAR, NO. 7 (polar bear) here BEAR, NO. 6 (baby polar bear) here If you are into building classic castle roofs, the pyramid brick and nose cone are useful for capping off the ROOF TILE CORNER 2X2X3/73° slope bricks here Sheps
  8. Really nicely done! A great contribution to the Middle Eastern MOC’s that exist. Sheps
  9. Really neat build in true classic castle style, I think it looks great! My only critique would be the choice of the colour reddish brown instead of black for the main keep. Sheps
  10. Well done, great architecture! You've pulled off quite a garish colour scheme, which works with the Eastern/Asian style .
  11. Thanks heaps Boindil Lego! Thanks a lot Sander1992! Thank you Lego Train 12 Volts, much appreciated Thanks the Undo! I agree - I like to see pagoda MOCs as well. You don't see that many, but the ones I have come across have all been pretty top notch. Thanks Jeff of Clubs, glad you like it!
  12. I'm happy to be able to share my latest medieval MOC, Dragon Fortress Pagoda. The colour scheme draws inspiration from 7419: Dragon Fortress, while the structure is based off Ayrlego's Lotii Pagoda. I have built a similar structured Pagoda in the past but was keen to try a new colour scheme, tiled roofs, and add a little flora. 13. Thanks a lot Horation . I will build more castle stuff before the end of the year, some of which might be able to complement this castle.
  14. Thanks for the feedback Corydoras . I um'd and ah'd about building the model with the masonry bricks sprinkled in but ultimately chose not to use them. Thanks heaps Monty Matte! Classis Castle style was the look I was going for .
  15. Thanks Powder Monkey
  16. Thanks Feur Zug, appreciated!
  17. I am happy to be able to share my first MOC of 2023, Candlebark Castle. Candlebark Castle is home to the Red Falcons, an elite division of the Black Falcons faction. I look forward to seeing other Australian Castle builders there when the time comes! Thanks for looking and I hope everyone enjoys! Sheps
  18. I live in Aus, and have noticed that Lego are finally giving the people what they want, by moving a lot of the popular and in-demand castle figs and accessories to "bestseller". I view this as a commitment by Lego to provide these elements with greater availability, and in a more timely manner (there "standard" parts can easily take 1.5 - 2 months to arrive). Some of the new bestsellers for my region include: - LK barding - LK legs and torsos - Forestmen legs and torsos - All printed shields from 10305 - Gold and silver visors - The various knight's helmets featured in 10305 A good time to be a Castle fan indeed!
  19. This is great! I love the photos with the rock base/cliff - they have a serious 'wow' factor to them and drive home the scale. If one were to build it the cliff would need to be included. Sheps
  20. Nicely done! A beautiful recreation of Persian architecture, achieved at an impressive scale . Sheps
  21. Well done! I like the reasonably symmetrical layout and classic castle style roofs. Sheps
  22. Thanks LEGO Train 12 Volts! Much appreciated .
  23. A ridiculously good build! The scale of the castle, the rockwork, and the surrounding sea are excellent, as is the technique with the battlements. Also sand red . Sheps
  24. Thanks kill will, very kind of you to say! The Dragon Fortress was a classic Lego build - one of the best Castles they came up with! I had to have a go at making my own. I'm glad you liked the Pagoda's as well (full credit to master builder Ayrlego for the design on the big one). I'm likewise a fan of Asian architecture, and hope to do some more builds in that style. Sheps.
  25. Thanks for the kind words SirBlake! Sometimes it's good to build upwards instead of outwards!
