  1. Hi, this is the first time I start a topic and this is also my first moc. I'm usually more active in technic sub forum but I thought it would be easier to start with a creator moc. Less parts involved and probably easier to create 3D model. So here's how it turned out : Here's also a link to the full gallery : https://flic.kr/s/aHsmEzLoqY I'm planning to create a 3D model of kart and also provide full instructions. I'm still learning to use ldd but already succeded building the main model (buggy) in ldd (minus one missing part) as well as using studio 2.0. Realistic renderer in studio is awesome but also quite cpu heavy. It took quite half an hour to get that result on my i5 with discrete intel hd4000. I'm really looking forward for any remark regarding that build so please comment if you can. Thanks.
  2. Seeing that I'm mostly unable to source those original motors anymore (or at prices that are not acceptable for something that is not mint in an unopened box), I decided to try also and buy a clone buggy motor (actually 2). I paid roughly 28 euros for 2 with paypal. I will report how those perform as soon as I got those delivered.
  3. It says Playmobil on it ! Eric is telling more on NH topic.
  4. Hi, Void_S I've seen on rebrickable you've already added N°4 and 5. Great work on the overall design. Will you consider offering the full pack at a discounted price, given the large similarities shared between the models ? BTW, It could be a good idea to have a differential part list to know the missing parts when using only parts from the original mack's trailer.
  5. Not sure if advertising clone brand that sell moc from madoca1977 without consent should be done here. CaDa brand is somehow different since parts exhibit slight changes from lego design (still compatible though) and they only provide original model so far (latest jeep wrangler is cool but I'm not sure they got jeep approval TBH so I won't post pics or link). I got some trouble with Cada servo (bad return to center) so I will try to keep cost as low as possible and try to buy battery box and receiver only if possible. I think It's also better to refrain from using too much motors with the same battery box, or at least don't use them at the same time.
  6. I remember well some building toy's brand from the 80's that mainly used that space (mission to mars) theme. I still have lot of those and it could well be a good source for inspiration. You can learn more here (if I'm allowed to post link ?) http://www.jomitoys.com/search/label/robotix
  7. @I_igor. You're right. I found an online shop that may be easier to buy for steph77. https://www.fischertechnikwebshop.com/en-gb/tractor-tyre-d80-106766-en-gb shipping is estimated at 5.95 € to belgium for 4 tyres.
  8. Maybe those from aliexpress could do the trick despite the smaller rim ? https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/Technic-7070-302-pi-ces-Technic-classique-vieux-tracteur-bloc-de-construction-brique-jouets-compatibles-legoings/32920325098.html?spm=a2g0w.search0104.3.1.179d4e670MsI1i&transAbTest=ae803_5&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0%2Csearchweb201602_10_10065_10068_319_10892_317_10696_10084_453_454_10083_10618_10304_10307_10820_10821_537_10302_536_10843_10059_10884_10887_321_322_10103%2Csearchweb201603_52%2CppcSwitch_0&algo_pvid=b17c6906-44c6-4841-9c79-69c2c039676a&algo_expid=b17c6906-44c6-4841-9c79-69c2c039676a-0 Quality is said to be bad, which was somehow expected seeing most sellers only show renders and not the real product.
  9. Really impressive model Dominik. I am impressed because that's exactly what I was secretly hoping to come as alternate model, maybe with a crane. That being said, what is really nice is that you manage to get some dual mode with the dump, which is also realistic. I also hope we will get some instructions for the model as well as instructions for your crane (even if lfx and Io are available, I'm not sure if those are faithfull to your original crane). I'm currently building 42078 model A and I'm loving it so far. Really nice set at a really good price tag. Thanks.
  10. Nice work. Glad to see you back. I can almost build this one but I'm still missing a few (rare) parts.
  11. Really nice trailer and dual wheels on your mack BTW.
  12. Really nice looking alternative. Do you have any video showing the functions ? I like the look of the front outriggers. Congratulations for providing such a nice alternative given the small number of available parts.
  13. You're probably right. A bit sad cause there were some interesting build among those hosted on rebrickable.
  14. After searching a bit more, it seems that pagicence edited every topic showing his MOCs on may 10. His rebrickable account has gone also, as well as his flickr account. Does anyone know what happened, since there's no clue here ?
  15. Hi, you should upload your pics to bricksafe and link to that from here. Nice start though.
  16. @Void_S Thank you very much for taking the time to build Grohl's snowplow and sharing the ldd with us @M_longer Your model looks awesome too, with a great playability, given the added accessories. So much great models to build with not enough time...
  17. May I kindly ask why those models vanished from rebrickable. It seems there were some parts that may be hard to dismantle, which could be seen as an illegal construction but it's a shame since it was also the only European truck built from 42078. Shame on me for not downloading those before they were removed.
  18. Hope so. It may help a lot of people with the build. Following a reverse video that last 2 hours is quite a bit of challenge. Really slick work with the dolly so far BTW. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Does it mean you have built grohl's model C mack granite in LDD ?
  20. Hi, while browsing the web for visual references of various cars or trucks, I stumbled across that website https://hum3d.com which features quite a lot of 3D models sorted in categories like but not limited to : - cars - trucks - buses - motorcycles - military - aircraft - tractors - trains - ships - spacecraft... Models are not free and can be pretty expensive but the included preview as well as built-in 3d previewer already offer a nice entry point to check the scale of your model. There is also a lot of brand included. I hope it could be usefull to someone at least.
  21. Yes, it seems obvious when you point it out. Unless going manually only (like in bruder toys which make me think of that model) and having tilting controlled by a knob at the end of the boom (not reallistic but it could be children friendly). Anyway, I was not begging for a model E since I didn't even build the model A currently. Thanks.
  22. Hi, thanks for those 2 models. I really like the Honda s2000 as a real car and your building does recreate it greatly. The heavy forklift looks gorgeous, as does your front loader from 42082. I also like being able to build alternates from one unique set. But I would not complain about dual model C as long as the two combined sets are widely available or at least that most parts come from only one set. I can imagine 42082 could be turned into something like manitou MRT 2150 by using only gear racks from 42070 and eventually big bucket from 42081.
  23. There's also free instructions available as photos sequence at http://www.nico71.fr/42082-model-c-wheel-loader/
  24. I have to agree. I recently bought Lego creator 31056 for my nephew just because of http://buildinst.cz/en/catalog/detail/15 Some of those alternate are really impressive.
  25. Here's a quad linear actuator design without the need for part # 61905 And a dual and quad actuator by Efferman Quad actuator is useless in the making of a model C, BTW.
