[MOC] 1968 Dodge Charger
keymaker replied to nicjasno's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@nicjasno I have a question about bionicle parts you use in front suspension. I mean for example connector with ball sacket (93571). I orderd couple of them and they fit veery tight. Does this connection anyhow slow/block the front suspension? -

Technic 2021 Set Discussion
keymaker replied to LvdH's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Photo is a bit crappy and under angle so maybe... We'll see. But in case you are right, the tire has to be quite big to keep proportions with this type of rim. -

Where do you see this rim? In front there is some sort of slim rim, definitely not the same as in dodge. -

Am I seeing right, jeep has rims from 10265? Edit: No.. There are not :( -
Hi, I present my newest creation – tracked Dozer Caterpillar D10T. I decided to go for old technic models style – without panels, frame construction. I like to see working mechanisms, the guts/insides (not sure which word should I use in this sentence, native English guys, please help me out :D) of the model. Here you have some photos, video will be available soon. I hope you like it Details: scale 1:17 length: 40 cm, width: 26 cm, height: 23 cm, weight: 1.65 kg drive – XL motor smooth steering thanks to subtractor – L motor ripper, raising and lowering – M motor ripper tilting - manual blade, raising and lowering – L motor blade tilting - manual tensioners for both tracks individual suspension for non-driven wheels working, fake, chain driven V8 engine openable doors locked tools compartment detailed engine bay and operator cabin Additionally: model in scale of technic figure power source – buwizz can be easily switched for battery box and two IR receivers model can rise itself above the ground with ripper and blade Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-59916/keymaker/tracked-dozer-caterpillar-d10t-rc/#details Video of upgraded version: Photos, before upgrade (more you can find here: https://bricksafe.com/pages/keymaker/6.-dozer-caterpillar-d10):

Efficient 4-speed gearbox
keymaker replied to lmdesigner42's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
And this is also very important info (apart from concept of gearbox itself of course). Thanks to that everyone knows, that this concept can be used in RC models without fear to lose integrity or skipping gears. Thank you for that! -
Efficient 4-speed gearbox
keymaker replied to lmdesigner42's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I would appreciate a good habit to presenting gearboxes working under some load. Because there are many, many brilliant ideas and concepts, but part of them are useless if you put some average load on them. They start to skip, lose integrity etc. So I wish to know at start, which one are only nice concepts, and which one actual can deal with some load and be used in RC middle scale models. -
General Part Discussion

Thank you. I'm recreating this solution: And somehow 6539 is ok in this build (I assume, I do not have it). But 18947 touches diff case (not much, but still). I know that 6539 is shorter - 2 studs but I do not see how it fits there.- 5,466 replies

I have question for owners of part 6539 and 18947 (driving rings). Is 6539 slightly narrower in diameter than 18947? Because I am building live axle with diff lock and 18947 touches diff case ;/- 5,466 replies

Could you add some quick video which shows how front suspension and steering works? It is very interesting solution. -
[MOC] ATV SHERP
keymaker replied to keymaker's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@arieben @Jundis Thank you for kind words. This is one of my first MOCs, at least the first I decided to capture on video. Back then, when I was building it, my part base was pretty limited. Now the situation is better so I have more possibilities to adjust color scheme in my present MOCs. -

Hi, I decided to continue building of MOCs inspired by vehicles available in Spintires. Here is my first clash with rather big scale model - scale 1:15. It is russian tractor Kirovets K700A. For purists, only LEGO parts. Some details: - weight: 1,92kg - dimensions LxWxH: 40x18x22 cm - switchable 2x4/4x4 drive (XL motor) - articulated steering (M motor) - 2 speed gearbox with neutral - working steering wheel - working fake V8 engine - suspension via articulated frame - easy battery case change - openable hood and doors - 2 available channels ready for additions More photos: https://bricksafe.com/pages/keymaker/5.-kirovets-k700a Video:

@Jim I only refer to voting window, because it, let's say, depends on us - voters. Thanks to knowledge about the window we can plan, when we find time to vote. The period to wrap things up is up to you. That is why you can say that you will summarize votes in for example 4 days or "result will be here when ready". I know, that there are people who are inpatient and they will count the result on their own, but it should not force you to be obligated to deliver result the moment you close the voting window. My proposition is to deliver clear voting window. And the result? You will deliver the result when you will have time to wrap things up :) What do you think?
