  1. Surely there would be strings attached if it was :-/
  2. I've bought some older MISB sets off ebay and have always opened and built them. I want the set for my collection and not interested in re-selling and so I'm not concerned if the set loses value by opening. MISB = Mint In Sealed Box When MISB added to older sets like the pirates theme then it can considerably increase the price
  3. Excellent Vig. *wub* the lighting
  4. The person above me also mispelt person

  13. :-D that's why I had so much trouble describing them yesterday Will try to describe them a bit more for you 1st pic - gift on the left = In the UK, when our construction crews need to shut off a road lane, they use flashing arrow signs to direct the drivers. This one is made from orange 1x1 dots with red/white 1x1 tiles machine the lines at the top/bottom 1st pic - gift on the right = These orange bins are used to store grit salt for putting on the roads in icy conditions 2nd pic - gift on the left = A kind of traffic light. A 2x4 plate with transparent red/green 1x1 tiles 2nd pic - gift on the right = Radar dish on 1x2 red/white bricks (why include this?) Hope this helps
  14. Here is my first attempt at a pic review. Please forgive the very poor quality of the pics as they were taken on my mobile not a decent camera I was really impressed with the 2006 City Advent Calendar so had to have this years as soon as I saw it. Set 7907 contains a nice selection of minifigs and bricks but don't think this years are as good. Front Cover Back cover Inside the fold open cover. The right-hand side contains the numbered push open windows Parts list You don't have to open each of the little windows to get at the pieces or to look at the pictures of what to make. You can easily open an end, slide out the plastic tray and peek inside. I never pay attention to which order the mini-sets should be made so lets start with the 8 minifigs. Police Officer and Fireman Railway Steward and Air Steward 4 workers It's a shame that there isn't a Santa/St Nicholas/Father Christmas like last year, especially as I was expecting one with the character being on the box Now, on to the gifts I like the arrow and will be making more for my construction crew and *wub* *wub* the orange grit bin hmm, well, the traffic lights are ok, but whats with the radar dish? *wub* *wub* more orange!! Neat little special pieces Nice places for the city folk to work but a blue light on a desk? Ahhhh, the fire hydrant to tackle the crate fire And finally - The Christmas Tree Cute lil tree Hope you enjoyed the review Andy
  15. I'm back at work now so haven't got the set with me, but from memory there is ...... 8 minifigs :- Crook, Policeman, Fireman, Railway Steward, Airsteward, Engineer, (and another that I can't remember) little Christmas tree with 3 1x1 bricks as presents Sack barrow with "italian" coloured barrel A small fire hydrant A tiny desk with pc A roadworks sign and 11 other lil things I can't describe well enough My descriptions don't really do them justice - they are all cool lil items Will take pics tonight but they might be of a low quality as I'll be using my phone if I can't find a decent camera
