LOL oh yeah - forgot about the double meaning for GIMP The GIMP I'm on about is GNU Image Manipulation Program which is free software that is almost as god as PhotoShop (did I mention that is free?)

I was lucky enough to help out at the Sci-Fi Weekend at the National Space Center in Leicester, UK yesterday as part of The Brickish Association and was impressed with their large mosaic of Superman (4x6 48x48 boards) Does anybody have a tutorial and/or filter/palette details for converting a picture into a mosaic format using GIMP or PhotoShop? I'll post a link to pics of the Superman mosaic as soon as I can

Welcome back !! I know so well the feeling of joy coming out of the dark ages. Mine was a 20 year of darkness ...... -
The Hoth Base is still showing on the UK S@H but stating "call to check availability" and "limit 2 per customer"

Welcome to EuroBricks :-) How can any time enjoying Lego be classed as wasting?? :-D :-D Guess I must have wasted majority of the few years :-D :-D
-
Certainly think it should be indexed Adding as a tutorial for other (not all) themes would be good too

The person believes he is psychic but it is I who is inside his head controlling his thoughts >:-) >:-) Doomed I say - Doomed *evil cackle*

The person above is doomed - doomed I say >:-) >:-) :-D He has also made me realise I'll be 36 on the 3/6 - how spooky is that?

The person above is falling deeper and deeper into my trap of confusion, shock, anger and amazement. Where will he land next? Can the pc admirring geek sig-fig really continue to look so innocent? Is this real? Is any of this making sense? Are we continuing life in a straight line or going off at adverse tangents that will eventually lead us back to the path? Is 42 really the answer to all this?

Even though I love my Lego so much, I don't think I'd even contemplate trying to save it. I'd just concentrate on getting my kids, my wife, my dog and some immediate clothing/food for kids/wife/me. While photos are very precious, they are just material items and we have our memories.

The person above has some very justifiable doubts about the person above them The person above the person above didn't need to interpret what they had previously asked as I totally understood and answered accordingly (apart from the connecting bit at the end - sorry - bad humour again)
-
The person above doesn't like my humour |-/ Sure - think we've got various cables at home - my landlord is a techie geek and has most types of pc things. I'll connect it to my pc tonight. Ok?

Europe maybe but rarely do we get promotional sets in the UK >:-( -
The person above would hear the same message I gave my son on the day he was born "This is daddy's lego and this is your lego. Make sure you remember that and never mix them" said as I showed him his first Duplo set and my equivelant bought the same day
-
The person above has reaffirmed his superior status by correctly diagnosing my legoaholic condition. Although I did have to re-read and check the spelling of his comment about me potentially turning into a brick
-
Like myself, the person above has become addicted to this topic Although its 9pm here and I'm still in the office browzing Eurobricks and other Lego related sites when I should have left at 6pm ....... Good job I work away during the week so my Lego obsession doesn't impact my home life all of the time Edit: I really should leave the office now as my spelling is getting worse and worse

The person above probably doesn't know that I'm supporting my wife by dieting with her, so, although I'd be very very very very tempted by the lure of the ice-cream, I would chicken out and have to refuse it at the last moment as I couldn't possibly eat something so delicious and creamy and tasty and fattening and scrumptious and ...... *wipes up the pool of drool* Edit : Is honoured to be mentioned in the profile of the person above :-$ :-P X-D

The person above is tempting me with ice-cream ...... Me thinks the person above knows me too well ...... And added to the fact he was trying to embarress me ..... hmmmmmm What flavour ice-cream?? Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ??? or Half Baked? or Piece of Cake?

The person above thinks too much X-D X-D

hmmmm, very debatable It has been said on many an occassion that my priorities are : my kids > LEGO > wife > health I always make sure bills are paid for 1st and then prioritize between then above. While I make sure the wife/kids eat and live healthily, I do often begrudge buying food/clothes for myself and go without because it means less Lego. My wife hates the fact I revalue things into number/size of Lego set, saying things like "you've just spent
