Hi from Andy in the UK Lego was always a favourite of mine as a kid but then there were the dark Lego free years from the age of about 13. But 3 years ago at the ripe age of 32 I rediscovered my childhood Lego collection and started about increasing it. Have been mainly concentrating collecting new Lego sets from S@H, ToysRUs and any discounted sets at local toy shops (hard to find these days). I don't stick to any particular theme and have built my collection up to 500+ and always looking for some bargains. Recently have been amazed at some of the City themed MOCs, especially those shown at the large exhibits held in the US. Would love to be able to afford the vast amount of bricks needed for those creations, let alone the hours/days/weeks/months to enjoy/develop the ideas. Are there any events in the UK held by AFOLs, apart from Legoland Windsor? My wife doesn't share my interest in Lego but my son is showing a keen interest at the tender age of 2! Would love to hear from other UK AFOLs Andy
