Yes it does, thank you! Thanks mate! I hope I can pull it off and keep it cohesive! Thank you, that was the hardest part for sure, glad it paid off. While I wasn't sure about the brown in the top of the walls I did feel confident about those colors, glad you like them too! The fountain just came together once I saw those two hats, it's kind of tilted but not bad. Thank you!

CHALLENGE II: Category B: The Eve of Iles Infantes
W Navarre replied to W Navarre's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you, I am happy that you do :) ! Thanks very much! Minifigures can really elevate a MOC, but you have a point, there is a lot more detail in the bigger overview! True, there lacks a better plan for the arena's layout. Next time got to plan more carefully! Thanks for commenting! Thank you for checking out the details! So glad to have built at last for GoH! -
Hope to do so, thank you for your thoughts! Thanks, I thought of using just one color but decided I would try this and it worked . Glad you enjoy it! Sadly progress is postponed, but not for too long it is my hope! Thank you sir! Thank you! Glad you like it. That is a strange point of view, for me all cloth elements elevate the minifig if used carefully, bringing its form and shape more to life. These cloths are mostly LEGO, just one is a Cape-madness imitation (the sand green one). But I am glad to hear your thoughts, and looking at it again I do agree that the boy's cape looks wrong, it's too short and doesn't go: I'll try to keep it out in the future unless very confident that it works well. Thanks!

This is excellent, what a cool dome and fits nicely with the pillar, plus the figs look good on the sand. That's a smart guy carrying ice cream cones through the desert too . NPU.

Great job, the transition in particular from youth to age is clever and cohesive, and I like the story! Will there be something new now? I hope to see you build and write more!

You really went all out, I like this a lot! The story interests me, and the figs are great especially the ever aging Artorious!

Book III - Varlyrio: Guild sign-up and Discussion
W Navarre replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nicely done guys! I don't know if I can get any more free builds for a while, but I will try! And I look forward to what everyone else makes. -
Okay, so this is wonderful. I love seeing someone use that tree trunk technique, and this story is quite well done and interesting! The overhang certainly looks nice, and I wouldn't expect it to be a problem with the judges, hope you do well!

Avalonia Book III task II and Task III part 1
W Navarre replied to Servertijd's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is a brilliant MOC, well planned with the areas of vegetation, the irregular base, the fence! There is lots to like, I find it great how the pasture with the cows is the same terrain as the rest just without the plants. -
Thanks! It's important to me that the story doesn't confuse too much or baffle the reader to an undesirable degree, so that's very nice to know! Thank you for the kind words! The floor was the hardest part you are right! Yeah, I think I will try to find as many different but similar faces for him as I can, we'll see if that can be improved somehow! Nice to hear that about the story . I'm trying my best, and the next part is in the works, but don't know how long it will be... thank you, with all the brilliant Varlyrian entries like yours we might move up in the ranks! Thank you! I didn't build it you are right, but I have pretty much built it before ... Thanks! The idea was to use the same parts on the right and the left, but I hadn't got enough, and just like you said I used whatever I could get together. Not ideal, but it balanced off the right side a little, and what else could I do? I have to plan better next time and know the limits my parts set me! Thank you for both commenting and critiquing!

Thank you! I hope it won't take too long! But life makes the writing and building go slower than we wish, I keep trying though.

CHALLENGE II: Category B: The Eve of Iles Infantes

I'm really glad you noticed that detail! I was actually dissatisfied with it, and as you may have noticed changed it from one picture to the next, but I did like the idea of using the tan curved tiles as something, some color on the wall to indicate finer and lighter sand, since that's what I had in mind for it. Works for the other things too though! -
Okay, hope to achieve those soon! Thank you, I went for round walls because it's meant to be a hut or tower :) . Glad the story can be understood somewhat! Hope to get things more clear in the future! Thanks! One color would have been boring, right ;) . Thank you! I love building woodwork like this! So much that, it appears, I certainly overdid the effect here!

Challenge II: Category C: Plotting in Barqa
W Navarre replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Beautiful work with the colours, with the lighting, and with those roofs of course and the layout, lots of detail, and all the vines and trellises look excellent! I like how it is kind of cluttered, but not too much. -
Excellent, very pretty and well balanced!

CHALLENGE II: Category A: High Ridge Gates

Beautiful gate, the shield is just right! -
Spectacular! Love seeing part of an eastern city like this, and the story is amusing! I like the dark tones of the buildings, and there is so much detail, cool arches and textures and designs!
-
Super, I like the cart wagon and the tree! And the round Mitgardian sigil works sweetly.
-
Just the right amount of detail! Awesome!

Challenge II: Category A: The first horse cart south
W Navarre replied to dalle's topic in Guilds of Historica
Neat job, I like the various details! I would just have added a wooden beam on the back of the house behind the roof, it needs one there for looks I think.
