A beautiful build. Not only is the construction beautiful, but the emotion and detail in the scene is amazing. Even more amazing, you built it in 2 weeks. Awesome work.

Really nice looking house, I especially like the shapes of the roof and the brown curved window.

These are insane, so amazing. The other angle really shows how crazy these chalk drawings are.

Your Bricksterdam looks excellent. I really love your yellow building (the flower shop), it is really beautiful. I also love the corner building you have done. If you click on the picture in your brickshelf album, to the page with the image only (and no brickshelf stuff on the page), it should work. (It will have a .jpg ending) So for your yellow building, if you post the address within the image tags... for example: [img*]http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ger5664/Flowershop/lego_018.jpg[/img] (delete the asterisk)and hopefully your image will post. The only problem will be the size (you need someone smarter than me to help with that).

I love the rock walls, I also love the roof, it is really cute. As said above, I love the use of the technic brick, they work well in the build.

I didn't even realise there was a raised baseplate in there. I agree, it has been used beautifully. (And gives me hope that I might one day use one of my raised baseplates).

Really cute set. I wish I had seen it for sale here, its parts are perfect for landscaping.

That looks awesome. I love the ladder and the spray can. The whole creation is really well done.

This made me laugh. Very funny and well done. (I especially laughed at the 'that's a win right' line). Great work. (I still have minifigs I painted with nail polish torsos and matching nail polish shoes from when I was a kid... ah kids...

The use of expressions in this build makes it perfect. As said above ^ lots of action in this. (love the last photo... that is really awesome).

I wish I were smarter so I could use mindstorms, it sounds so complicated and hard but does cool stuff because that was a pretty good price. -
Wow, that is a huge space. I am not a train builder, but in addition to the comment above, such a large open space would need a lot of Lego to fill it up (if that is your intention). But I am jealous of all that space (and all the options that are available to you).

Being an awesome wife... *cough cough* ... I have built a landscape for Matt's wagon train. I am a terrible photographer (I only know how to use Auto) but here is his Wagon train built into a landscape. Matt's cart in landscape by tikitikitembo, on Flickr Matt's cart in landscape by tikitikitembo, on Flickr This was just to experiment how I would need to build, to give the appearance of it not being on rails.

I have only just seen this question, but here is a size comparison. Lego k'nex - size comparison by tikitikitembo, on Flickr

The same discussion could be had at the butcher for those who buy cheap cuts of meat over the Wagyu Dry-Aged Bone-In Strip Steak. Why buy the cheaper one, when the quality one is just there For many families, budget is more important than quality (especially when they have never experienced one over the other). Personally, I prefer they buy megabloks so there is more Lego for me...

As always, your work is beautifully done Taz. The door is brilliant (the circle shape). I also like the shape of the dark tan roof and how it fits into the environment. And the 1x2 rock work, just brilliant.

I bought the Portal of Atlantis from Kmart today for $69. I have never had any interest in the set, but for that price, I thought it might have some good parts I could use and I am pleasantly surprised by its parts. There is quite a lot I will use in my MOCs (that I never realised were in the set). I was surprised they had the ornamented arch (which I love) and there is also a lot of dark tan plates and dark red. Now I just have to wait for the city of atlantis to be that price. -
Beautiful. To me, this is a really well balanced MOC. I particularly like the third building with the tower, really lovely design. And I am another fan of the citroen, that is very cool. I also love the chairs with the horns for legs.

I love the idea of the microscale map. It could form part of the first collaborative build event. I am a recent reader of the historical themes forum, so having some kind of illustrative reference to factions would be useful (maybe it already exists, but I have not come across it). So have a picture of their shield which you can click to link you to MOCs that include that faction. I also think a timeline build might be fun, have us moving through history and encouraging builds from different periods of time. (Maybe a competition every few months focusing on a different time period).

Brick Town Talk is one of the websites I do check almost everyday. (Whereas, I also had not heard of some of those other sites). It is great for showcasing some great MOCs and inspirational buildings, so don't feel so sad, it would have just depended on the experiences of those who developed the survey.

Your town looks great, I love the buildings and all the 'action' you have created. Like someone above me, I love the things you have created to protect the tree trunks.

I will look up Adobe Premiere Elements. We do have a tripod (my husband is a camera nerd, so he has a crazy one) but I didn't use if for most of the clip... I didn't know how to make the camera connect to the tripod (I do now though).

This is awesome. I love the story, I especially Love Yarek (he could be a character in a Monty Python skit). I also love the West Gate of Erebus, beautifully done.
