    Make no mistake -- there's a ton of CGI in The Force Awakens (just like there were a lot of practical effects and miniatures in the prequel trilogy). It's all about what's emphasized by the filmmakers/studio.

    There are also Disney/Lucasfilm logos on new prints of the Legends novels; that doesn't equate to canon. Lucasfilm allows The Old Republic to continue (probably due to the popularity of the game), although it's likely not considered canon.

    Keep in mind, guys, that the Lego panel is simply being put on at the Collectors Stage at celebration. It'll be several fans talking about the hobby -- no official presence or announcements from Lego.

    I love the minifigs and bigfigs in this, but the set itself......UGH.

    Crossing my fingers that instructions/piece counts end up online. This will display nicely with the Celebration and SDCC exclusives from last summer.

    I doubt we'll be seeing Deadpool anytime soon. Lego likely doesn't want their brand associated with the raunchy (but hilarious!) film.

    I'd say you can't go wrong with either one; they're two of the finest sets to be released under the Marvel Super Heroes banner.

    You probably won't be let in the door. I just got off the phone with my local Lego Store, and was told that invites went out to LUG members (all invites had already been picked up). It's a bit disappointing that there are many of us (myself included) who spend thousands on Lego annually, but are left out of these invite-only events.

    What the.....??? Is this some kind of joke? Absolutely terrible choice for a May the 4th "exclusive". There are so many other great options out there (Aunt Beru, Starkiller Base Han Solo, Episode I C-3PO, etc.), this just comes off as so lazy on TLG's part.

    I guess one upside to this set is that Lego has absolutely no reason to release Hoth sets for a good long while now.

    Count me among the 'disappointed' crowd. The "wow" factor on this just isn't there at all, as Hoth has absolutely been done to death in recent years. I may pick this up at some point, but I'm certainly in no rush...
