I like the csx train and tropicana factory shown in 19:30 of this video. Are there any photos of that part available? Great show btw

I also drained bricklink in europe last year to get light bluish grey 87926 parts. Guilty

I agree, a new expert train is going to pop someday, but not very soon. Also city trains 60197 and 60198 are just a few months old so i dont expect it to happen in 2019.

This looks better If just 1 set: I like the idea, i like the colors with dark orange (but white windows would be nice too) i even like the vehicle and i think the minifigs are great (finaly having decent heads). The only thing that bothers me is it being a corner model...

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion

I like most of these new sets yet i wouldnt buy the 4+ sets, because they disrupt the city style. Juniors was simple and clear branding so i don 't realy get how this merge would benefit TLG. Yacht: should have been at least 8 wide Rally car: very nice design Fire sets: seem ok Snow groomer: looks fun Harvester: will definetly buy one -
Sorry for bumping but this post was one of the first i replied on when i joined eurobricks. It was quite inspiring so i built something similar. I started on a 16x32 baseplate and its almost ready, just need to add some type of roof. Inside groundfloor is still empty but the top floor has a simple modern control room. Two operators both with multi computer flatscreens and one giant tv showing the ATCS (printed sticker on black 8x16 tile). I added some details like the coffee machine and plants to cheer the place up.

You can find all of the new sets right here: https://www.bouwsteentjes.info/overzicht-lego-sets-winter-2019/ It's a reliable Dutch website, no pictures, just names and set numbers so not a leak if you ask me. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
AE bricks replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I wonder: If winter village fire station is set 10263 and Vestas wind turbine is set 10268, that would mean there are 4 Creator Expert sets about to pop out in 2019 right? Yet a least one would be a 14 wide vehicle like the aston martin. Anyone who found more news on the others? -
Great work BrickMusher, I like how you got the orange roofparts aligned properly. I had some trouble with mine and had to put in some more dark blue bricks to cover the transition to the panoramic roof ... I used a dark blue double concave brick (3046b) On the plus side it does make it kinda modular this way: Greets AE

Penguin suit girl will be available a short period of time around black Friday, when buying at least 35 euro only in offical brand shops not on LEGO.com Spotted on a reliable Dutch website: It says 22 till 26th of november 2018 juist to be clear.

I like the style of the roof. Dark grey looks best if you ask me. Great work

So here it is ... finaly. Dark blue as planned and dark red contrast. More photos in the album.

TRAIN TECH Help, General Questions & Talk to the Staff

I think 60 cm is too tight to fit a loop in standard lego tracks. This is also shown on the box of the 60197 train set. I would expand to 80cm because that way you could fit two standard 48x48 baseplate or three 32x32 baseplates.- 578 replies

You can try searching all streams on Flickr for "lego 75217" This one looks nice, but is not mine for the record.

Finally got my panorama bi-level or double-decker car ready, so here it is ... More photos in this spoiler: Feedback is welcome Credit to all members who contributed in similar posts back in the days of 60051. I tried to combine their ideas into a "best of breed" in the 60197 color scheme.

Very nice, the symmetrical look on both ends works really well I'm working on a double-deck car with panorama roof. Just need a few more pieces from BL so I hope to share a few photos soon

That would be great indeed. TLG could do profitable buisness if they would link 60181, the cargo theme and one or more (cargo) trains to each other and not just by blending a cargo sticker into the 60198 set. A lumber mill / factory is on my wishlist but any expantion of the cargo subtheme would be a shot in the bullseye imo. -
Very nice truck Some elements on its front must be inspired on the arctic 60035 truck i supose. Well, it works great in yellow and gives it a sturdy look. Might try one like it myself someday, although i'm not such an electronics wizard

The boat looks really great, i like it Even the rather small scale fits perfectly compared to the size of the original fishing store.
-
Nice one Did you use an extra motor or is it a nonmotorised bogie with the decorative sides to look exactly like it?
-
@BrickMusher posted a nice MOC with the 60198 color scheme in his "roundnoses" topic today. So time to show selfmade modifications or mocs on the 60197 passenger train aswell. Here's my very easy version of an end wagon. I sacrificed the "café car" to get the trans-black window parts fast and only had to add 2 light bluish grey 1x4 plates from my own storage to build this one. Call it simple, call it not the first nor the last attempt, yet i haven't seen any posts on a similar topic here recently... Greets AE
