When I eventually get the set, Ill likely dismantle (after building it once) and merge it into a partial (ground floor mostly) version I was building prior to the rumours of this set. I'd change to a baseplate and a half (48x32). Id mirror the sides tho roof corners might need alternating someway due to missing sand green piece (could change roof to black but Id prefer sand green myself) and extend depth to back edge (don't care about alleys on modulars). Id add a second floor instead of the fake first/second floors on the exterior. Redo the staircase either to be modular/replaceable or build a collapsable feature for Banner crashing through in IW. I'd remove removal walls and the portal play features and have the portals setup as in DS1 with static/replaceable portals instead of the slide. Can understand why designer didnt do all of the above though as cost would ramp up. My version will definitely steal the corner design as that was what I was struggling with most and from what Ive seen of the set and the instructions, the designer has done an amazing job even though I agree with majority who complain about the space/size. The Assembly Square modular might make for a good companion building for its neighbour if the mirrored corner lines up with it as an alternative to its neighbour in the films/concept art as medium nougat corner on top floors match up so might get that at some point.

It was out of stock more than it was in stock (at least it seemed like it).

They're okay for what they are but its an easy pass from me on the figures. Im only planning on getting the Iron Man one because of RansomFern bust and giant version. I doubt if someone creates the same with these new ones that would even interest me

Depending how you define new pieces and new system, you might be wrong or might be right but context is missing from the discussion. There were 2022 pieces including things like squirrels that were on the new system but when the new system was introduced to America, they were removed globally and haven't been back since.

Is Attuma in both sets then? Hard to tell for certain but figures look same in both throne and sunbird sets

Ah fair enough. Obviously read more into it than you meant. Carrying on that reading more into what you say. Heavy hmmm Does seem strange that the superhero line on both sides of the aisle have lower than usual sets in what is the 10th Anniversary year. You'd think it would have more with gold figures or some collectable. Are superhero fans not as big collectors as Harry Potter and Ninjago in Lego research? That said the $500 set is definitely going to be a DC vs Marvel Mega Battle Set to celebrate the anniversary.

Opposite for me. I usually add on the smaller exclusive sets (which don't reach free delivery mark by themselves) when I do parts orders but as Ive done less part orders Ive bought less sets so far

In one of Brick Clicker's latest videos he said the minifigures in the Advent Calendar are Starlord, Groot, Nebula, Thanos, Rocket and Mantis. Dont know anything about the Holiday special or any other rumours on the Advent but Im going to put my guess out there that the Exclusives will be an Xmas Tree Groot and a Santa Starlord Its likely Thanos, Rocket and Mantis would be same figures as in sets on shelves currently. Nebula is weird one as shes not in a set currently. Maybe shes in a set coming out later this year or shes an Xmas Exclusive figure (Either a 3rd or Groot/Starlord will be one in a set currently).

Can you answer any of the following? Should we have hope the 3 September sets are Marvel and not DC? When do you expect more information to appear on $500 set? Is LegoCon too soon? If the 3 September sets are Marvel will it release with those? Is it a random D2C drop on its own? By exclusive do you primarily mean new characters or new variants of characters released before? If its a Modular/NWH Statue of Liberty/Cool Location etc set with a lot of exclusive figures I kind of prefer the single purchase than a lots of cheaper sets with with builds I dont really care about it. If its Icon/Giant Vehicle build etc that I dont care about then Im going to hate all these exclusive figures in one set.

It sticks around now but if a part in the cart goes OOS, it disappears from the cart and it doesnt tell you about it. If you have a big cart its hard to tell whats gone so still need to keep a separate list :(

Pre shutdown in my country the total "Minifigure Parts" including Out of Stock was 1051. Since the reopen its now 1012. Theyve just cleared a backlog so they likely arent going to add loads of new parts straight away and have us all pounce with new orders. Would be good for communication on what they plan to do even if its nothing but at least we can buy more parts again even if it isnt the most desirable ones

Last years Con was a massive disappointment but the press release and trailer mention new announcements from Lego Marvel. At a guess it'll be one of the D2Cs (including Sanctum in that list if not a D2C). I wouldn't expect more than one set announced but hope for more

I guess for me the centrepiece of the ground floor and the interior as a whole is the staircase which is a big elaborate staircase in the centre of the room branching at the top. I believe the Bank Modular uses the standard lego stair piece at the side of the building (don't have Bank modular not for lack of wanting so might be wrong). I struggle to see how they can pay off the Sanctum staircase with the current suggested size. Am excited to see how they've done it though (if at all). Does anyone think the Zombie Strange figure suggested for the Sanctum has a second face/head that allows it to be the Pre-Zombie Variant? Also does anyone have a list of Marvel Lego Stickers that suggested a new figure that came out a few years later (or unreleased as yet). Ones I can think of are 76108 in 2018 had Daredevil which was released in 76178 in 2021 76125 in 2019 had Striker Armour which is being released in 76216 in 2022 76125 in 2019 hinted at Red Snapper Armour which is unreleased (Wild prediction its in $500 set ) 76175 in 2021 hinted at Bombastic Bagman Spiderman Suit which is unreleased (Wild prediction its in a 2024 set to keep the 3 year pattern )

Usually a modular has approx 8 studs of pavement so for a corner building like the Sanctum on a 32x32 baseplate (as reported) its approx size will be about 24x24 (minus cut corner). Adding another building into this space would greatly compromise the interior in my opinion. Looking at Sanctum Concept art from first Dr Strange a baseplate and a half (48x32) with the building taking up 40x24 would do it justice with good interior. Thats prob how Ill MOD it regardless. I do like your idea of avengers ice cream parts being in the Sanctum, maybe randomly sitting on a table or something. Im hoping for lots of easter eggs inside. For the interior I really want a staircase that can fall apart for when Banner crashes into the Sanctum in IW and a Rotunda of Gateways.

Ah okay, makes sense, Im surprised if they are mixing and matching films, that Kaecilius, Ancient One, Daniel Drumm or generic students from first Dr Strange arent in there to give it more figures.

What non-spoiler characters would you expect in the set from MoM except America Chavez? Honestly I wish it was comic based to get some new characters. It is tiring getting the same version of characters over and over again (whether its with better print or new helmets or whatever) especially in the bigger sets. I hope the building has some good parts/prints/stickers/design to make a wider version as I think the 24x24(?) footprint will be too small to have a good staircase etc. We'll see hopefully soon.

Im a little surprised this isn't a set like that (though from initial leak it was never going to be) with a quote on the front like Star Wars and Jurassic Park have this year. Even if not the above Im surprised we haven't got a "quote" set this year with something iconic e.g Avengers circle from first Avengers

The price of this set is biggest issue for me. I might see it different if I didnt have Iron Monger Set or Sakaarian Buster sets which would have meant 6/8 of the figs would be new to me but 3/8 new minifigs is a big turn off for this price point esp as the figs are the selling point of this set. If Mk3 was Mk4 and Mk85 was any other new suit and to a lesser extent a new Tony Stark, I could get more on board with the price even at the crazy markup. 496 pieces for 90 euros. This is a blatant "this set will sell, how much can we get away with"! This set borders on should I bricklink figures or buy on reductions I dont mind the new displays I like the garage pieces as sides. Be interesting to see how they look compared to existing versions Stark Expo table is nice touch Dont need the car at all. Gladly remove it to reduce price. Helmets Id have to see in person to judge and compare the look alongside existing figs I agree Whiplash head doesnt look right for movies Same old Nick Fury Hope they do a Stark race car (Speed Champions style that breaks in half) with Race suit Stark and Whiplash MK1. Another one with Hammer Drones would be good
