Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
upliftingbricks replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Assembly Square Modular was $280 for 4002 pieces and 9 minifigs. So $20 more for 5+ more minifigs and 230 less pieces makes it a better deal for Marvel fans Id say. A huge win like you say. -

I get that but minifig spaces have a limit and Im curious why people would want a civilian over another superhero/villain e.g. Why would you want Robbie Robertson over say a Blade or Lizard or the many more we don't have yet? -

I see those in my region too. The colour filter is a nice touch (though being picky it groups all colours of same type together i.e. dark green/earth green and trans green come under green). I wonder what the purpose of the "I cant find what Im looking for" is as surely if you could get the part it would be listed. Maybe its just meant to be for replacement parts section and not buy section. Either way both are new to me on the site. -

In a normal year August is the perfect release date for a set based on a movie coming out in September. Hype for this or other movies is irrelevant as thats the release schedule outside of Lego's control. Why they released them so early in the US is the weird part not the EU release date. Normally they also release staggered with Americas getting Winter wave earlier and Europe getting Summer waves earlier but due to Covid or Lego internal changes that hasnt happened in last year but maybe it hasnt gone away for good -

I think the capes come in the boxes they come in within the sets so depending which cape you ordered it might come in a box with other capes from a set. That might be why the price is different. Youll have to let us know when it arrives -

As far as Im aware capes only became available last year(?) after they did the site redesign and even then Ive only seen a red cape available. My guess is that its coming in a May/June release set and as a part already listed has now come into stock for the first time. Not sure how the Nostalgic-Wilson's website determines newly available though. -

Isnt there a Disney Frozen castle D2C before the Bugle or has that release changed? Recently they tend to release a wave then a day or two later the next wave goes up as 'Coming Soon' on the website with the "May" wave strangely releasing 26th April (next Monday) so shouldn't be long for official pics and they hopefully leak from early uploaded images or something sooner -

Great Ideas! After hearing about Daily Bugle I was hoping the DC D2C would be a modular too (of anything you suggested) but alas another vehicle :( -

Seeing the recent Harry Potter Hogwarts leaks, makes me want a series of Arkham sets that combine in the same way. Could be any building really e.g. Star Labs/Hall of Justice (any building that doesnt fit a standard modular dimensions). -

Im curious, why do people want civilians in the Daily Bugle set? Unless theres a certain look/print thats needed e.g. JJJ moustache a lot of civvies can be created purist and more superheroes/villains could take up the minifigure spaces? Even Kingpin as a minifig prob wouldnt be that exciting as its a guy in a suit. Just wondering as Id prefer the spaces to be taken up by heroes/villains we havent got and cant create easily purist. -

Why would they do a Disney+ CMF series from a brand perspective? Disney+ shows are part of the MCU and not a brand themselves. It would make more sense that characters from the Disney+ shows show up in an MCU CMF series or knowing Lego a random selection of Minifigures from across all media. -

Based on the above hint, is it possible the CMF to be What If? related. "A series of missed opportunities" is the premise of What If? after all. Possibly the Wanda figure in her Wandavision finale outfit IF in CMF and IF its What If? based is from an episode of that where she has identical (or close to) outfit. Do we know if theres a What If? episode with her in? -

Theory, the figures teased in other sets over last few years (Daredevil, Iron Man Striker, Iron Man Red Snapper, Bombastic Spiderman) will show up in the CMF. Thoughts? -

@Soupperson1 The Captain Marvel magazine actually has Venom (same one as sets but with 11 Tentacles - Wow!!) in February. I think thats the wrong magazine. Captain Marvel is in Lego Superheroes mag whereas Shazam appears in Lego Batman mag. Ive done some digging on Bricklink. This was the last Batman magazine I saw on shelves in UK a couple of weeks back https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?S=212010-1&in=B If you look at magazine Numbers on Polish and German magazines and compare to the Shazam magazine in same country (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?S=212012-1&in=B) it appears 2 issues later. Id say Q1 of 2021 it should appear if it matches other countries -

The Captain Marvel figure magazine figure comes out this week in UK and I believe Shazam is the one after. Not 100% but likely Jan/Feb but you'll be able to confirm in back of magazine this week. The European version tend to be a couple of months ahead of UK from my experience. -
