  1. The build for that set is surprisingly decent build especially for a 4+ set. Definitely worth a fiver.
  2. I wonder if it'll fit into the Sanctum slots as an alternative
  3. Does it matter if it's pushed back at this point? The decisions for whats in CMF are likely in place and cant be changed. An episode was pushed last time and we still got the set release. I think if they are in there, they will stay in there even if pushed. This is actually the other way round. The figures were designed for the Bugle and were used sooner for the Winter wave. Mark Stafford mentioned this in his AMA after the Bugle's release if Im not mistaken.
  4. Quite a few parts have moved to Bestsellers including some non Yellow heads and torsos. Very interesting. Are the animals cheaper than before? Cant remember the price before
  5. I don't think Arkham should be "a" Modular but should be a Modular system like the Harry Potter Hogwarts sets. Piece multiple sets together to build a bigger Arkham in various shapes. This is achievable to include multiple villains and multiple batmen at different price points. The theme would have to alive for it to be achievable though. If Im dreaming you could even have say 3 Modulars that connect to create a full Arkham that fits 3 base plates or bigger as 1 would be too small. A lot of DC locations don't fit a Modular building shape (Daily Planet being an exception and maybe GCPD though I think thats more of a multi baseplate size to do it justice)
  6. Ever? Assuming we get DC Modulars and Bugle/police station retires, why would they not be done? Even with them on the shelves they could be different architectural styles. Its all mute though as DC sets are mythical beasts
  7. Fitting for the character is something I didn't consider but makes perfect sense! Two torsos but different types of torsos in those series but doesn't mean they couldn't include two normal torsos instead. Depends if they class an extra torso as an accessory. Except for possible new hood mould, theres nothing special/unique about Moon Knight/Mr Knight minifigures. If only 1 pair of legs/head is included, why wouldn't they do it as it would drive sales of people trying to get two complete versions of each figure plus blind boxes make it harder driving even more sales. I don't think they will do it but makes sense from a business POV to me. Agree with this. Hopefully in 7 months we'll get information confirming this or comic based version instead of D+ version. A comic version could cover some of D+/Legacy characters like Moon Knight/Baron Zemo while giving us more unique figures or 12 Iron Man suits
  8. I really like this idea especially as a way to have a 13th character as people would try to get two of this. I guess if this happened then it would be one pair of plain white legs, two torsos, two heads, hood (new design?) and a cape. Would there be any other accessories? Maybe a couple of lightsaber blades for weapons. If they went this approach, then a second Moon Knight figure that no one seems to have mentioned is Konshu could be included
  9. Technically 6 new characters from that list (depending how you define "new" e.g. MCU variants or any variant of figure). Highlighted ones that have a lego minifigure already.
  10. I cant believe with all these guesses posted that one vital D+ show character has not been mentioned once and is guaranteed to be in a CMF series as its likely he wont appear in any future MCU shows/films. All the Marvel fans want a Kevin Bacon figure!!! On a more serious note, there is a Stan Lee documentary on D+ next year. Tho not MCU related, it could be a chance to shoehorn him in. Doubtful but maybe. Also what if its a NWH CMF??!!
  11. Im excited for Marvel CMF 2 but would prefer a Comic/X-Men 97/Infinity Saga version of CMF. If it is D+ series then hope its new Characters instead of variants of figures that have already appeared before with some villain inclusion. Kingpin in his Shirt from Hawkeye is primed for a CMF appearance.
  12. Marvel Modular? More comic sets? What If Season 2 sets? X-Men 97 sets? There are polybags to reveal too. NWH sets tho doubtful
  13. Depending how you take Gunn's twitter statement (Im not following that closely so likely out of date info) but he mentioned Elseworld films alongside DCU. Last I heard theres some debate whether that just means Joker 2 and The Batman 2 or whether we'll get other Elseworld films like a versions of Kingdom Come and Red Son. The main DCU is rumoured to have a younger Superman like you say.
  14. The head is being used in Chinese New Year sets so part of the mold is still being used. Big figs put the price of a set up alot and with todays prices and the complaints about them, adding a big fig would reduce the amount of parts in a set making the value for money even worse. Imagine if the Hall of Armour set this year had a big fig, thats an extra $20/25 (or whatever) added to price. People seem happy at the Quinjet price. Throw a big fig hulk in and add $20 then thats $120 for 800 pieces.
  15. Attuma is Medium Azur and First Wave Avatar figures are Medium Blue according to Brickset. Second Wave Avatar figures has slightly different blue so that could be a closer match. Anyone got and Attuma head and an Avatar figure they could try matching? I like the idea if it works.
  16. 1) Agree but if the set is expensive like 550 even a lower sale price will still likely be an expensive figure on after market. Regardless the figure will be expensive. Im glad I dont want it or the set. 2) Agree. My original point was dont include or ask for inclusion of minifigures (especially good quality ones) in sets that dont require a minifigure. E.g. Hulkbuster is an oversized display model. It doesnt need a minifigure (except to make it sell better). From a consumer POV instead of business POV I dont want sets like 550 display models to include figures.
  17. I was talking more about financially out of reach than supply out of reach. A figure in a 550 set will be expensive on the after market as most of the time thats where cost of set is recovered by sellers. I don't know about everyone else but I have a max limit on what I'd spend on one minifigure regardless of quality/rarity of the figure because I have to justify that spend to myself (which already has a heavy lego bias ). A massively expensive bad set with a sought after figure means the set isn't worth buying and price on after market for the figure is high which puts it out of reach of fiscally responsible people
  18. Im glad its a single boring figure. If it was an amazing figure in an awful set that makes it horrible for minifigure collectors/fans as 550 def isnt worth it for the minifigure alone no matter how good the figure is and after market prices will likely be expensive (even for this figure they'll be high). I wish they didnt release minifigures with these type of D2C sets at all. If we complain too hard they'll start putting brilliant figures in D2Cs that dont require them and when theyre bad like the hulkbuster it'll put it out of majority of peoples reach not far off from comic con exclusive.
  19. Harry and Hermoine seem like odd choices to do that design with at least as a starter but as soon as I saw them I knew I was going to get the instructions and convert the design to Ghostbusters Stay Puft. Doing an Ant-Man like you say seems like a given or any character thats Giant (Galactus, Sentinel, Thor Destroyer to name a few Marvel ones). Not that it would happen, but a $550 Master Mold with a buildable Sentinel coming out of it would be an instant buy
  20. I'd buy a Galactus like the Harry Potter type ones above but that would be max $80. To be honest Im surprised Marvel (or any theme) havent got something in that style yet
  21. Are you planning to get this (or through LAN) and making a similar mod on your channel? Photoshop does look better but there still something not quite right. It'll be interesting to see what MODs people do to this set.
  22. Hulkbuster officially announced and it does fit 76206 Buildable Iron Man inside. That explains why torso is so bad. I know some people like the buildable type figures but did anyone want a hulkbuster for it to fit inside. Makes no sense to me. Id be tempted with a big hulkbuster display piece if it was well done but neither of the two attempts have reached that point. This new one is solely ruined by the buildable figure inside feature. Odd choice.
  23. No, its one of the most frustrating issues for me when I placed an order recently. Had that order open in a tab for about a month adding things. What I would do (and theres prob better way of handling it) is I would copy the url and open in new tab every time I went to add new parts and view basket on old and new tabs and if the price had change, Id scroll through basket on each comparing them until I found the missing parts then make a note of the item number to check at a later stage. It should keep the parts in the basket and highlight them as out of stock and stop you from adding to bag if OOS items are there but that seems too logical a workflow for PAB at minute.
  24. Depends if they were seeing the Blade set(s) filling the 2nd half of the year (which I doubt they were). I don't think they would add anything new to replace them at this point so anything for 2HY is already planned to come out then. Legacy sets or classic comic/animated show sets they use to do would be good
  25. The 10th Anniversary not have anything official is biggest disappointment for me. Didnt even get a label on a box never mind special figures. I havent enjoyed this years set choices even though there are a couple like Dr Strange sets that were good but I dont expect to like every set thats released even if this year the majority were in that camp but when you see Harry Potter, Star Wars and Ninjago have anniversary content and Marvel and DC get nothing, it makes you wonder why. Why no label at the least to highlight that? Heres your anniversary sets but we arent going to tell you thats what they are. Doesn't make sense. The Hulkbuster could change that if it has an official reference to the anniversary but seems unlikely it will. They are even celebrating 50 years of Dungeon and Dragons in Lego Ideas but not Superheroes
