  1. With that outfit, you'd make team captain.
  2. Seems to be from the Tina Goldstein minifig, from the current HP CMF set. Is right. Thanks for the positive feedback everyone!
  3. @Drunknok I'll see your Red Rogues, and I'll raise you: The Ocean 11!
  4. Wanted: Merde "the Murderer" Bounty: 50db dead Whereabouts: Last seen in the Sea Rat town of Bastion, on the Nest of Thieves, participating in the BoBS Tournament Soccer Cup. Accomplices: Last seen player-coaching a crew of Oleonaise Navy sailors, who have been dubbed the "Ocean 11". No bounty is offered for these, and aggression may be seen as an act of war. Crimes (in chronological order): Theft, larceny, loitering, arson, rioting, murder, resisting arrest, breaching penal sentence, desertion, misrepresentation, impersonating an officer of the Oleonaise Navy, theft of an Oleonaise Navy vessel, fraud, conducting diplomatic relations as a private individual, double-fraud, unlicensed gambling, embezzlement. Details: Private Merde deserted his post in Astrapi on the Île Zeus on, or about, September 13 and intercepted the crew of a naval dispatch vessel en route from the recent troubles on the Île d'Or to Granoleon. After talking to the crew, he successfully convinced them to urgently re-route to the Nest of Thieves. Once there, he honestly informed them that they had broken military protocol, and would likely be court-martialed on return to Oleonaise waters. Therefore their only hope of redemption would be to enter and win the local football tournament. However, he apparently abandoned his accomplices sometime during, or after, the tournament and his location is currently unknown. It is likely he has joined a crew of cut-throats under an assumed name. This is my entry for the BTSC. The Ocean 11 are ready to kick butt for Oleon. Let me know if there's anything I need to do to make this a legal entry.
  5. Watching this thread with interest.
  6. Surely whatever you're mining, you'll end up with plenty of stone for your effort?
  7. This was from the Jedi + Clone troopers battle pack.
  8. @blackdeathgr he's always worn that. It's a cassock. It does mean that he's not very poseable, though. The only exception is on my Flickr account. For the sedan chair he uses regular black legs.
  9. @gedren_y I reckon you're probably right. Nice people, those acolytes, not the type to burn you alive. It's a low bar, but not everyone clears it...
  10. Couple of thoughts: There's no way my priest would take time away from his serious work to go to a football tournament. [Un]fortunately I have left his criminal bodyguard unattended and very bored in Astrapi harbour. Could an NPC team theoretically win? If we need to make the numbers up to 16/32 etc, would we add the right number of NPC teams, and then let them play as a normal team? Or is there a stage at which they can no longer advance?
  11. Fear of the gods by Ross Fisher, on Flickr By the heavens Marie, I don't know whose work I'm doing here, but it isn't Zeus's. This inquisitor is an expert at his job. He certainly terrifies me! Yesterday he worked his trickery on a group of miners up in the hills above Astrapi. The poor bastards. He walked up to them all serious business. You could see the nervousness on their faces. Then he asks if they know the way to 'Touchstone' - pretty sure he made that up. They glance at each other, trying to figure out whether it's a test. And he just stood there. Calm; dignified; 21 armed men stood right behind him. Eventually they admitted they didn't know, and he just brushed it off, asked what it was like up here, how the mining was going, had they been affected by the terrible weather? You could see them both relax, it was impressive. And then he hit them with the southpaw; "Folk in Astrapi have said there are heathen practices up in these hills. People touching wood when they say something unlucky, refusing to walk under ladders, that sort of thing. There's none of that... here... is there?" Hades, you should've seen them. Shitting bricks, they were. Quickly denied all knowledge of anything at this particular mine, but they were happy to rat on their friends over the hill. "I see..." says the inquisitor. They didn't stop quaking. If there's one thing worse than heathen practices, it's lying to an inquisitor to cover up heathen practices. Then he hits them with the radical non-sequitur; did they have any idea where Zeus's lightning was? Bamboozled, they were. I've never seen anything like it. Neither knew for sure, but they'd heard rumours it might be further into the interior. Definitely wasn't on the seaward side of the mine. He thanked them, and left. You could see the relief on their faces. It's easy to see how ridiculous it was. You can't get to the Île Zeus but for sailing, and sailors are the worst of anyone for heathen superstitions. But you'd never say that to an inquisitor's face. "One more thing..." he said, turning back. Oh, that really did it for them. Look out for them in town, they'll either be drunk in a gutter or being dragged into the sanitorium. "...you wouldn't have a spare barrel of brimstone, would you?" Of course they did. Anything to get rid of us. I reckon that barrel represented a day's work and they were happy to let us carry it away. With the right guy on point you could make an excellent con of it. Anyway, I'm happier standing behind this guy than in front of him. I just hope this holy quest ends soon and I can get back to boring guard duty. Missing you, Jean
  12. Nice way to tie all of the plots together. Canon accepted.
  13. @Drunknok and their power comes from accusations.
  14. Love it. May have to send the Padre to a retirement home...For reinforcements!
  15. Good man. I wondered whether they might be some of @Mesabi's Prometheans. They fit the bill: Gotta watch out for those sneaky heretics.
  16. Looks really interesting. For my own RP purposes, who is the enemy? I wasn't aware of the ancient conspiracy against the crown (that or I forgot about it). I might like to include something similar in my storyline.
  17. Said the joker to the thief... Think it's a bear. From Brave?
  18. Nice one. That head looks a lot like a Wallace and Gromit build.
  19. @Mesabi you're my DM? This will be fun! You know I'm going after those Promethean heretics! I'm also going to try and check out the mines as well.
  20. Nice work. Really like it. And it nails the brief!
  21. Really like the forced perspective with the trees. You're really good at this!
  22. @LM71Blackbird every day's a school day. Of course, the one important Imperial measure no-one' s taking away from us: pints!
