  1. @marvelBoy123 It's a really neat build. Your use of colour is especially well considered. One thing I would suggest; instead of putting the BB code into your post, try just grabbing the image URL. That way the text won't say "Assault on Nixus".
  2. That's an epic build. Wish I'd built my container like those. And the encampment looks really good.
  3. I know what you mean. Had real trouble aligning these so that they would work nicely. Must try harder next time. That's really cool. Thanks! Thanks!
  4. It's a great little scene. Nicely done.
  5. @SodorBricks I love that you're coming at this with a very different character. I'm keen to see where you take this guy. Awesome rock sculpting, too.
  6. Really nice work. I'm a big fan of figbarfing generally, and I like this guy. The build overall is good, too. Do you have a full-width shot? Just so that the admins can see what the whole build looks like when they come to judge it.
  7. Thanks. It was only after I agreed to start this Faction that I realised I had to come up with a believable reason why a lazy upper-class coward would join a warrior culture. Hopefully the full story should be reasonably believable.
  8. *Your entry has earned 7 XP* Well, I felt no need to let brass know that I was drawing pay without actively fulfilling a function. So I took my shuttle off to visit some old contacts out along the Perlimian Trade Route. Unfortunately, something must've gone wrong with the hyperdrive, because it gave out when I was barely halfway there. So, suddenly I was stranded in the middle of nowhere, with no guarantee whether a beacon would bring rescue or raiders. I had a hysterical Twi'lek yelling in my ear about how she didn't want to get enslaved again, and I was rapidly losing any kind of calm that I'd earned on Zeltros. At this point I should stress; I am not a gear-head. Never have been. Not my forte. I can talk to save my life, but my technical skills are severely lacking. So when I have to do my own repairs, if they happen to work as planned, and I don't die a horrible death in the cold vacuum of space; I got lucky. Well, I managed to seal off the cockpit door, and isolate life support to just that area. Had all non-essential systems re-route to sublight engines. And it damn-well worked! I guess you could say I got lucky. Managed to limp all the way to Gizer - you know; Gizerian Ale? Ran out of fuel as we were breaking atmo. Had to glide into a crash-land. Now, I don't know if you've ever taken a good look at an Imperial shuttle as it lands, but you really do need those wings folded away, and the repulsorlifts firing on all cylinders. If you're not careful, you'll clip the ground before you know it, and slam face-first into the last planet you'll ever touch. But for that, you need power. Like I said, I got lucky. Missed the spaceport and crashed into a forest. Tore the shuttle wings off before I knew what was happening. But I guess luck is relative, because we came to rest on a cliff. And promptly fell over it. Well, I didn't die that day, as I'm sure you've guessed. Managed to jump clear; Lu'vel clinging to me. But, honestly, it didn't feel any safer. There was no way to get up that cliff; a raging torrent below churning up shattered remnants of Imperial transport. I was all out of options. And then I heard her voice: A woman in armour. She threw down a cable - hoisted us both out of there. The Twi'lek first, then me. On Kashyyyk they'd call that a life-debt. Me? I reckon I just got lucky that day.
  9. @Vedauwoo I've sent you over a DM.
  10. @Basiliscus Thanks! I wanted the droids just poking out from behind our Muun. Appreciate your comments about the parts usage.
  11. @Merc4Hire Yep, looks great. Thanks for changing the location.
  12. @Basiliscus Thanks! I quite enjoy breaking apart figures in order to pose them better.
  13. Neat build, and a great first effort. Well done!
  14. I'm sure this wasn't a deliberate satire of Fnab's situation, but it reads a bit like it. I do love those super-commandos. Very cool. I'll second the comment about the burned figure. So gnarly, it's awesome!
  15. I think it's supposed to be a saber-toothed... something. Look out for one of our other builds for this mini-challenge for another interpretation!
  16. Thanks guys. I know that my scenery hasn't been that adventurous in the past, so I'm keen to improve if I can. One of the first things I did when setting up the Clan was see if there were any parts already in existence that could work for the Clan. Sadly this is about the only thing I could find, so expect to see a lot more of it! Thanks! We've got a couple of other recruits as well, who are just tidying up their builds before they post them. Thanks. Mandalorians, for a long time, have been a culture, and not a race (despite the fact that Boba and Jango, Duchess Satine, Sabine Wren, Din Djarin and pretty much any other one we know of has been human). I always want to have more aliens in my sci-fi galaxy, so I decided to throw more aliens in there. And it's only going to get wilder! I get what you mean. I'll work on this. Promise.
  17. It's a really believable glacier, there. And I will always have a soft spot for Imperial Super-Commandos. I think that's a perfectly fair way to get around not having enough helmets, although I might've switched them over, so that the guy next to Farantros had his helmet off. But a very cool build. I look forward to seeing the rest of this series.
  18. @Merc4Hire It's a really cool build! Good greebling. And I love the writing, too. We'd be happy to have Var Vorsic in Clan Eldar! The photos are good, but you might just need a bit more lighting in there. A couple of other pointers; at the moment, the 2x challenge requires you to use the word "Mando" in your title. As this has "Mandalorian", you might miss out on those points. Also, Clan Eldar doesn't have access to Ord Mantell, so you won't be able to score any IP for this build. Happy to talk this over with you in DM, or on our new Discord server.
  19. I've heard this from a few people, and I just can't see it. I think they look great! I'll see what I can do for the rest of the series about using some different tree techniques.
  20. *Your entry has earned 8 XP* When we returned, it seems that Val had gathered a few more of her people. She was damn pleased to see Rusty. Shook my hand for getting him back. Said it was something she could never have managed. And then she gave a speech. Damn good one too. Short; punchy; and with a point. I've recorded it for posterity: "Brothers and Sisters; "We're done hiding. "Some say the galaxy doesn't need us any more; that the Empire did everyone a favour with its conquest of Mandalore. They say that a warrior culture has no place in a galaxy that's had enough of war. "But I say this; there will always be a place among the stars for those who are willing to fight for it. Those who aren't prepared to let someone else deny their right to exist. So if you've got the guts to wear the armour, I say you've earned the right to be a Mandalorian. "It doesn't matter who you are; where you came from; born or made. If you're willing to stand against the storm with your head held high, Clan Eldar will stand beside you." And with that, she climbed down from her podium. Did her meet and greet. Shook hands, shared praise; every inch a born leader. And then she got to us. "Rusty," she said. "Thank the stars you're back. I couldn't find the strength to do this without you." "I know, sis." He answered, with a nod. "I've got all of your armour, safely stored." "Thanks. I'll need that." "And what of him?" she asked Rusty, nodding at me. "He's a pain in the neck," said Rusty. "Only you would send someone to annoy me into submission." I was a little bit offended, but I wasn't about to let it show. "Should we let him stay?" she asked. And I was shocked. Hadn't been something I was planning, really. Gizer is not my idea of a good time. "Yeah," said Rusty. And he turned to me. "You might've been an Imperial once, diplomat, but you aren't now. That ended when the Empire fell, you just haven't realised it yet. Empire's not a place, or a culture - at least not one worth keeping." And, to be honest, he was right, dammit! You just don't anticipate keen insights like that from very-newly sober people. "What do you say, soldier?" Val asked me, "Join the Mandalorians? Fight with words for us?" And to this day, I am still surprised that I said yes. It was a damn good speech. And something in me still wanted to make my mark on the galaxy. So, before I knew it, I was adopted into Clan Eldar. It's a funny old life, eh?
  21. Everyone wants to be Oleonaise! Even if they can't admit it to themselves.
  22. That's what I did. Posted here first.

Some members of Clan Eldar were fortunate enough to escape by fleeing their homes - a hard act for any Mandalorian. These disparate groups managed to keep in touch and, now that the Empire has fallen, are tentatively making contact again. Soldiers Clan Eldar consisted of Mandalorian warriors that donned Mandalorian armour with black, dark green, and orange color. Nonetheless, Members of Clan Eldar, and their allies, wear a wide range of different-coloured armour, and some wear no armour at all. Times have not been kind to the Clan, and many new members still need to earn their armour. Clan Eldar does not expect its members to follow The Way. Removal of your helmet does not make you any less Mandalorian. Giving up does.
