He snapped off a shot from his pistol before ducking into cover. "Georges, I suspect there is a thief among the quartermaster's men. He must be stealing my wine." "Oui Monsieur," was all he could reply, as a shot ripped apart the tree next to him. "It wouldn't be you, would it Georges?" he asked, as he stepped across a space that had recently been filled with lead. "Non Monsieur," pleaded the chef. "I cannot touch the red stuff. It gives me a rash!" "Well when you find the swine, be sure to have him hung for treason, won't you?" "Oui Monsieur," Georges replied glumly. "And don't die before I get back. I'm going to need dinner early!" And with that he charged into the jungle, his men rallying behind him.

Thanks. This does happen in some older libraries, but it's individual books that are chained up. I didn't have the space for that. @A_Forest_of_Lego Thanks! You can certainly try. Of course if a Corrington ship were to suddenly anchor up in an Oleonaise port and start pressing civilians, the Knights Treasurer and the cannons in the fort might have something to say about that...

That was a little hint that not everything at this library is as fundamentalist as the Librarian would like you to believe. I like the idea that being surrounded by so much forbidden knowledge has started to corrupt him. Maybe instead of just reading the books, he has started to print his own!

Can I suggest that we consider it as a Commerce property? There's a LBSF office there; I'm sure that tower would function as a lighthouse; the canal and bridge obviously bring trade into the marketplace... Just a thought.
