Excellent. I was worried about all the recent rumors about it being between $350 and $400 because that would mean a smaller castle but closer to $500 makes me feel a lot better because they can do more justice to it. It may mean I have to sacrifice Cloud City but so be it

Yes I know that was over the top, I apologize. I’m recognize that I’m getting very impatient with this set. It’s been rumored for SO LONG and I’m tired of hearing rumors. I literally just want to see the details of the set for myself. I get overly passionate when it comes to Lego and Harry Potter. My bad, seriously, I know I need to chill. You’re not the first ones to have to call me out. Thanks for pointing it out. All I can do now is sit and wait.

True but then again, Lego has so many strong themes right now, they may decide to go all out this year

I’m still very curious about that Ollivander minifigure that leaked a while back. It doesn’t look like it’s a polybag (bit of an odd character to have in a polybag anyway) and unless it’s in the D2C, which doesn’t seem likely, my only reasonable guess is that he’s in a set from the next wave. I’m asking because I honestly don’t know, but is it possible for a leak to appear that soon? Would the alleged set be finished enough for that kind of leak? If so, does it make it likely that the set would appear earlier in the year? Because I have a very hard time believing that a minifigure could leak from a set that won’t be released until more than a year from said leak. Thoughts? (It’s relevant because the leak appeared in 2018)

Yeah I know. I just can’t help but lose my mind a little when a set I’m looking forward to this much due to rumors that started a longgggggg time ago is this close to being revealed and sets like the Aston Martin that I don’t care about at all (it’s fine that other people do) are being revealed instead. I’m just tired of hearing nothing but rumors. I just want to see it, what it comes with, all the details, minifigs, etc. even if the rumors are completely accurate, it’s one thing to hear about possibilities, and another to actually see the final product. I fully accept that I am way too impatient about it

The only thing we know is that there are nanofigures. The rest is literally all heresay and speculation. I want real, confirmed, solid, factual information from Lego.

I’m getting sick of this complete lack of information on the D2C. What are you waiting for? If they don’t reveal it in the next couple days I’m gonna be really pissed

Gotcha. I wasn’t sure when the Cloud City release was going to be. I know the last couple big UCS sets were October releases but it wasn’t always like that so I didn’t know what to expect

Does anyone else think it likely that the UCS Cloud City and the Harry Potter D2C will be revealed around the same time? Or do you think one will be revealed a few weeks after the other?

Like others have said, I think they just used short legs in the Hogwarts Express so that they would fit better with the other sets and to save th medium legs for the CMF. However, although I believe the Harry, Ron, and Hermione CMF are supposed to be from year 3, you can really make them whatever you want, even mix and match parts to fit your vision for each one. Personally, between the 2010-2011 versions, dimensions, and these, I’m trying to make at least one version of the main trio from each movie, so that almost every variant of them is represented

All three of them are meant to be year 3, even though Harry looks more like year 4

I was bored so I took apart my Great Hall and Whomping Willow sets and built them again. Fantastic builds, I love them, I’m so excited for a big Hogwarts Castle build with the D2C, microscale or not

Right but the D2C will most likely be revealed right before SDCC which is in a week. I expect it’ll be revealed the day before, kinda like the Great Hall with New York Toy Fair, and then it’ll be on display at SDCC. That’s just my prediction Even if the D2C Hogwarts is released in September with an August early access to VIP’s, I’m thinking I’ll wait a little while until there are double VIP points and then get that and Cloud City in one fell swoop. It’ll give me more time to save anyway so win/win. I just hope those two sets aren’t sold out for a long period of time

It looks like the reveal of the Lego Movie 2 sets indicates the start of the pre-SDCC reveals. I’m expecting the D2C to be revealed anytime now...

I feel like the D2C should be revealed in the next week...I’m tired of waiting. SDCC is coming up in about that time so we’ll see

Does anyone know when the Harry’s Journey To Hogwarts polybag will be available? I’m assuming August with the CMF and FB sets but I really have no idea. It’ll probably be a GWP for something, the question is what?

Yes, my worst fear for this theme is the LOTR effect. My heart is still broken by that. But that’s why I’m glad so much was included in the first wave of this theme! And we’ll at least get a second because those would already be designed at this point, maybe even produced already, waiting for release. That’s where LOTR died. After the second wave. That’s why I wanted the D2C to be more of the system scale Hogwarts Castle that connects to the others and not microscale, because other sections of the castle are not promised

I feel like Cedric’s hair piece will work a lot better for the eleventh Doctor than the Anakin hair piece he currently has. Anyone else?

Got it! I’ve tried several times now but it says I can’t upload it. I think the iPhone camera takes pictures that are too big to post? I don’t know how else to get the pic up
