Went back to Target for the Hogwarts Express and they said they sold out online and weren’t getting anymore in. Luckily, there are still left at Lego so I ordered one. Double VIP points? I think yes

The mouth is visible on the back but that’s it I love the new McGonnogall minifigure but after having it in person, it would be much better with the new dress piece instead of legs, as much as I love printed legs

I got to Target when they opened and they only had one of each of Whomping Willow and Great Hall, two of Quidditch Match, and two cases full of Aragog’s Lair. No Hogwarts Express but they said they’re expecting more sets tomorrow so fingers crossed! Just missing the one!

It’s terrible, this has been the longest week ever, and yesterday went so slowly I though time had stopped. Today has only been going fairly quickly due to the LOTR movies. I can’t wait. I hope target has all of them.

That would obviously be the best choice under the circumstances, but I finally got my wife to start reading the books and we’ve been watching the movies as she finishes each book, so I’m already working through the Harry Potter movies. Plus Lord of the Rings is my favorite movie series of all time Ha!

I knew today was going to be an excruciatingly long day because of my insane anticipation of getting the new Harry Potter sets tomorrow, so I’m passing the day by having an extended edition Lord of the Rings trilogy marathon. That’ll make it go quickly enough!

Possibly, but I always thought that getting them at the store in person adds so much to the experience of it. Either way, good luck to you too! I asked an employee at Target if they would be stocked when they open. He said probably but if they aren’t I can ask for them and they will bring them to me from storage. He said they won’t stock them until they have enough to fill a section of the shelf but I can still request them from the back as long as it’s not before the release

I can’t help but feel like there will be more Fantastic Beasts sets from the new movie. It seems too odd that there is only one to promote it (the suitcase is from the first movie). And the fact that we haven’t seen a young Dumbledore minifigure yet tells me there is something else. I feel like there will be a bigger fall wave of sets or a January wave for this movie. And I would be delighted if some more HP sets accompanied them that soon but that’s doubtful I will be waiting at the door to Target on Sunday morning when they open. I can’t wait any longer than I absolutely have to. I live in a pretty small area so I shouldn’t have to fight too many people to get to them

Does it bother anyone else that the Elder Wand (depicted three times, one on each dumbledore and one on Grindelwald) is tan and not brown? I will definitely be replacing each one with a brown wand

What’s the point of being a VIP if I only get early access to useless sets?

Normal sets are July 1 Those are both total wastes of early VIP access. Especially the car. It should be HP

Since the D2C is rumored to include minifigures of the four Hogwarts founders, I think it would be amazing if Slytherin came with the locket, Hufflepuff came with the cup, Ravenclaw came with the diadem, and Gryffindor came with the sword (I know it’s not a Horcrux but Voldemort never got a chance to make a Gryffindor Horcrux and the sword still fits as it can destroy them)

Most of those come in the sets so they most likely won’t show up in CMF. And Umbridge will be in the Bricktober pack

I absolutely love the new skirt piece, I’m so glad we get three in these CMFs! I really wish McGonnagall and Dumbledore in the Great Hall set had that piece. But I also love printed legs! It’s so tough. I think they would have looked better with the skirt piece but the printed legs are still amazing I can’t really complain.

I understand why people discard FB because, basically, it’s not Harry Potter. But really, the Dumbledore/Grindelwald story is central to the plot of Deathly Hallows, at least in the books, so it ties directly in and gives Deathly Hallows much more clarity

There are a lot of minor characters, while major characters are left out. I absolutely love the minor characters they gave us and this o my means they are saving those other characters for future sets! The absence of Myrtle, Ginny, Lockhart, and Riddle tells me there is likely a Chamber Of Secrets set coming at some point. The lack of Sirius is definitely saving him for later, hopefully we end up getting a POA version with the Azkaban jumpsuit and also an OOTP version. I also hope we get more Death Eaters later like Bellatrix and Lucius and hopefully Yaxley. I also would love Lily and James, if they do the Hogwarts founders there’s no reason not to do them. Also, the other Triwizard champions With Maxime and Karkaroff. The other three house ghosts as well. Young Dumbledore from FB. And many many more. There’s a lot more they can still do. I’m so excited for these and the future of this theme

Where does Ollivander come then? If the book comes with Harry, and he doesn’t come in CMF or the D2C, where did that leak come from? It was definitely real
