The CMFs are perfect. Absolutely amazing. Some key characters are missing of course but there will be time to include them in the future. There are a lot of characters I was not expecting which is wonderful. I will definitely be getting all of them

It’s easier than you might think. I’ve done it for several full series’. I’ve never gotten the wrong one. Just take your time with it and make sure you know for sure before you buy it.

I really hope they do more sets from 1-3 as well because I really wanted new versions of Fluffy, the troll, and Buckbeak as well as some minifigures like Gilderoy Lockhart and Professor Trelawney. Although I suppose Trelawney could come in an Order Of the Phoenix set later on. But I want a new Lockhart minifig

What I’m saying is no one is posting links to leaked images in this thread. Lego can’t regulate people simply stating that an image exists. The LOTR effect is what I’m most scared about for this theme. That’s why I’m so bummed about the D2C being microscale and not an addition to the other two system scale sets. If they end up cancelling the theme early then we’re left yet again with a very unfinished system scale Hogwarts.

I’m really surprised we haven’t gotten more leaks for the D2C yet. I’m hoping they start coming really soon. The CMF too

If the rumors are true then this is how they should do it: each founding member comes with the Horcrux their House is associated with. Slytherin comes with the locket (similar piece to the Olympic medal), Hufflepuff comes with the cup (maybe something more detailed than just the goblet piece), Ravenclaw comes with the diadem, and since Gryffindor doesn’t have a Horcrux he can have the sword. That would make this a much bigger draw to people

I still say the only evidence against a system scale set is the pics of nanofigures. But I also say that nanofigures would scale really well on display with a system sized castle. No one has seen the set (at far as I am aware) so no one knows for sure. I’m taking everything with a grain of salt until I see the set with my own eyes

I’m not saying it’s not true, in fact it probably is. But I am taking any information with a very large grain of salt until there are images or official descriptions

I was really hoping for Lockhart and Trelawney in the D2C. Hopefully we’ll get them later on in a future wave. A Chamber Of Secrets set would be perfect for Lockhart and Ginny. And maybe Trelawney can come in some other section of Hogwarts. I also really want Lucius with the new Dumbledore hair piece in a pale blonde color. Hoping to get Mad-Eye and Sirius in CMF. Wouldn’t say no to Tonks and Bellatrix either

Not trying to burst anyone’s bubble here, but how do we know this information is accurate? It’s one persons report and I see no proof of the claim. No images have surfaced yet and I have no idea how he got the information. It’s funny how people just start claiming to have all this info but won’t say where they got it. Although I doubted the existence of the nanofigs until I saw the image. Maybe it’s true maybe it isn’t, but hopefully this means an image will appear on IG later today

Darn. I was really hoping it would still come with an awesome selection of minifigs. That’s disappointing. I find nanofigures completely useless. It will be sweet to have the four founders though! Didn’t really expect to get them. I still wish exclusive characters from the actual story were included though.

Problem is, without TRU, there isn’t a retail store to carry them that’s consistent enough around the world. They might end up splitting them up or just selling them from Lego brand stores

Ive actually thought that ever since it said there were two early Vip access sets in July. Everyone keeps saying it’ll be October or December but I’ve always thought that just doesn’t seem right. I always thought it would be revealed right before comic con and then be on display there. These leaks plus the July calendar seem to indicate I was right. I think that was just the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star. Before that, it was January and May, but it’s been changing with these bigger sets

But he also has the fur collar that will definitely cover it up. The McGonagall in the Great Hall set is more worrisome to me because she has a double sided face with nothing but the pointed wizard hat piece which definitely won’t cover it up

It would be ok if they printed eyes on it or something but it doesn’t seem to be the case. I knew it was included from the preliminary images we got. It didn’t show it in the main image, but if you look at the top of the box where it shows all the minifigs, Kowaliski is holding it

It seems some Target locations have been stocking them already. I checked my local Target today but I wasn’t so lucky

I know it’s a slim chance, if any, but how great would it be if Lego decided to release all of them early? Now that (presumably) all of the system sets have been revealed
