I don’t think many people realize how many variations of the main characters there actually are…a plethora of beautiful outfits, it would never get boring. It’s not like the collectibility stops at one variant of a character. Lego minifigures have never worked like that. And actually, looking at Harry Potter in particular, there are many side characters included so the argument really doesn’t stand anyway. But, the whole point would be for a CMF to compliment a line of sets, not stand alone as the only LOTR thing.

Gosh that would be terrible. A mid scaled vehicle in a big location based set is one thing. But a stand-alone mid scale vehicle as a playset is just ridiculous

What are you even saying. What use would I have for more than one or two 501st specialist packs? The overwhelming majority of clone troops look the same, no specialized armor. It makes far more sense to mass an armies of regular foot soldier clones from each legion. Save the specialized clones for other sets, and put more generic clones in battle packs, with maybe one that’s different. Also, canon? There’s not much canon in the 501st specialist pack…

Minifigs for the Gunship are incredible! I’m disappointed in the Gunship itself. The scale is so weird and it’s so small and stubby. And the wing turrets look dreadful. It looks like one of those mid scale Mocs people make that still have the full scale wind screens on them making them look really messed up

Phase 2 Shinies would be awesome. I wonder if we’ll see any Phase 1 clones again anytime soon. Kind of a shame they’ve been so scarce.

Battle packs are so perfect for a LOTR theme it’s not even funny. A CMF series would be absolute perfection and I would probably buy multiple cases of them but I doubt that will ever happen unfortunately

I’m surprised we didn’t get any other Kenobi or BoBF sets after the initial releases. A couple from each with some missing key characters would have been great

Fairly decent list for 1HY 2024. I’m most looking forward to Grogu’s Escape and the clone vs droids battle pack (please be clones from established canon this time). If the Podracer diorama has Shmi or 3PO I’m getting it no matter what. But it’s doubtful there will be figures since it seems more likely to be a microscale type build like the trench run. Maybe interested in the droideka, it sounds intriguing at the very least. I’m sure I’ll want the Skeleton Crew ship. Really no interest in the midi scale stuff

I still see absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t try regular sets again. The possibilities are endless. The notion that LOTR only appeals to adults is complete BS. Think of the amount of people that are adults now that love LOTR. A lot of those people are having kids now. You really think their kids aren’t going to grow up surrounded by it? My kids are an example, and I know many others in the Tolkien community with kids who love it as well. Kids. Love. Fantasy.

Honestly the X-men figures are a total waste for this CMF. They should have just been in a set, they don’t need much detail. They should have used those three slots for more D+ MCU figures, there are certainly plenty missing

I believe it came from the original survey leak. All subject to change between then and release, if it does release. Minifig lineup too. I definitely hope the set does happen, but I think the design needs some improvement from the leaked image

I think the figures in that set were pretty good. Only problem is that there weren’t enough of them

Absolutely agree, the allusions to the theme park seem out of place and certainly take something away from the set as a display piece. Also…there’s a Rivendell set somewhere with your name on it
