Thanks! I've tried incorporating a rotating turret, but I don't think it's possible without making it too big and bulky. Going to need to build it irl to finish up the design though. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a y wing from the clone wars TV show. The front and engines are based off @Jerac's design and the rest is mine. The outer shell of it is done however the internal structure still needs a lot of work. Feedback is welcome!

Hello everyone! Here is my entry for the economy contest. I was inspired by the new clone wars show to build something, and here it is! This showcases the average day for a clone pilot as they touch down after a long mission. There will be a separate topic in the forum for the Y wing on its own.

Ah ok, the big gray plates, wedges and technic bricks certainly cost a lot, was hoping to be able to get it for cheaper though.

Hello all, I'm nearly done with collecting all the parts, around 95% done. Just wondering if the price I got the parts is ok, as my overall total estimate is around 1600 AUD. Also a suggestion for an updated partlist, the tile round 1 x 1 with tube is available in LBG, and the LBG levers are much more cheaper as they were released in the UCS ISD. Also the LBG barrel are available in bricks and pieces for under a dollar each.

Thanks for the feedback, no hard feelings taken. I definitely see where you're coming at, that's why I'm going to rework most of it haha. That aside, this is my first big build so I'm still pretty new to everything.

Thanks :) Currently at 2500 parts but thats just the shell around the front, it's mostly hollow on the inside. Due to all the weird shapes of the ship I'm thinking there won't be much space left inside when its finished. Thinking of having a major rework to the ship. Not really happy with the curve at the front and thinking of using raskolnikov's solution for his mon calamari cruiser, although I'm not sure I would be able to accomplish such feat :/. Might rework the front inside cityscape as well. Here's a render of the front

Minor update, moved the secondary bridge back a bit and now its sitting at 162 studs long.

The episode was definitely superb! Rex does try to fight it off for a few seconds as thats when he told Ashoka to find fives, and then the chip took control of him. This kinda shows fives death wasn't in vain and he ultimately saved Ashoka and Rex. The last episode was one of the best, and really sad that Jesse died. He kinda deserved better after everything, and I can't believe the animation team put so much work into the imperials at the end.
