  1. Take your imaginary friends elsewhere.
  2. You can make them roll very fast :D
  3. That is win. And not because of the chick, she has pointy elbows. - Sok.
  4. Be sure to mention to paypal that he is being rude and uncooperative. I've heard stories of sellers getting ripped off by buyers before. That's one drawback of the feedback system, some people are willing to gamble theirs because they know others won't. - Sok.
  5. When you've bought a set just because you wanted to build it you should have no problem with others having it too, right? - Sok.
  6. I've got like 10kg of old technic beams so that shouldn't be a problem. What would be a reasonable price for the plates though, they are quite expensive on bricklink (2€ each for the 6x14 Oo) and I am willing to beat that but not sure by how much, so make me an offer for all of the plates (also the black and red ones?) from two 7824 sets. - Sok.
  7. I have a lot of grey plates from the railway station I built although that would mean breaking up one or two of the four 7824 sets I have. Each of those has six 6x14 grey plates, and a load of others too: http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/7824-1 Would you be interested in all of the plates from one or two of those sets? - Sok.
  8. Howmany of each are you after and what do you want to trade them for? - Sok.
  9. Can he show photos of the minifigs that are damaged? If so, piece together exactly howmuch they are worth and thus howmuch you think he should get back. The 30$ figure sounds totally arbitrary. - Sok.
  10. Where do you live?
  11. Did you expect anything else? The minute someone builds a real plane using LEGO parts it'll be all over the place. - Sok.
  12. I'm fairly sure god had nothing to do with it :P and several mutilated LEGO pieces at my home place want to have a word with you about the last bit
  13. I don't like the idea of putting stress on parts like that.
  14. Given the difficulties that the US army has in keeping their ospreys aloft, building a LEGO one would be even more impossible than a regular helicopter ;) I like the idea of a LEGO platform that floats by means of helium balloons but steers with LEGO motors - although some sort of control over altitude would be nice. - Sok.
  15. It's not illegal to make similar bricks here either, LEGO lost their patents long ago. Outright copying sets is a different matter however. - Sok.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgXzgtvx-Wo ;) you can make it smaller by using 8-long axles instead of 12
  17. Some of the feedback they give each other is hilarious: BEST SELLER ON EBAY - I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS - WHAT A EXPERIENCE Member id camole555 ( Feedback Score Of 235Teal star icon for feedback score in between 100 to 499) 02-Oct-11 08:31 Micro SD SDHC ADAPTER 2GB4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB+Plastic Case (#150669662620) US $0.06 View Item
  18. I wanted to make one that was a little more dynamic, the bridge from 7822 is too 'blocky'.
  19. Assuming the space just below the pin is hollow you should be able to, and if not, maybe with the two handles facing opposite? - Sok.
  20. Needs more pictures of the bridge ;)
  21. They can be found cheaper than 30 pounds on bricklink.
  22. I doubt there's any 'simple' sets in the technic department, other than the really small ones. Nearly all of the studless builds are very sturdy but may not be suitable for him to assemble on his own. - Sok.
  23. I understand your concern. Is his ebay profile really good? (as in, 50 or more positives over more than 6 months on substantial items) If so, you can ask him to send you a message on ebay to verify that it is him. - Tim
