  1. I tried to re-build the main building with a second floor, but it turned out way too bulky for my liking: So I demolished it again and settled for a one-story version: (The reception window you see is for the luggage drop-off) From left to right, employee entrance door, two ticket booths and some more chairs for waiting passengers. I think I'll make do without a second story - there's not alot of useful stuff to put there and it takes up a lot of space making the station look bulky. Instead, I'll probably stick with this slimmer approach and start focussing on putting lighting bricks in all the lamp posts and all the buildings. More soon™ - Sok.
  2. I'm thinking of a 3d graph for the values so you get a nice landscape and then colours or values attached to those to indicate the ones that are within 5 to 10 degrees of 90 or so. My hypothesis is that you'll see 'islands' of closeness surrounded by valleys of 'off-ness'. Not sure how the values that match 90 exactly would be distributed though but I would be eager to find out, they do not necessarily have to be surrounded by values that 'approach' them, in fact the would most likely lie away from the 'islands'.
  3. You should draw a graph of the error margins, cause I'm seeing a pattern :D
  4. I'm looking for container cars from 7823 and tipper cars from 7838 if anyone has them, and I also still need a fourth signal light :) - Sok.
  5. I've added the signal lights, but since I have only two (third one is on the way, need to find a fourth!) I had to 'cycle' them :) Affixed to the walkway: And to a stand-alone structure for the tracks that run in opposite direction: Meanwhile, I also made a waiting room for platform 4:
  6. And how much are there with say, a 5% error margin? 90 degrees doesn't always have to be exactly 90 ;)
  7. I know my basic maths, thank you very much :)
  8. Of course but it won't do you much good if you explain it like that to someone, and he starts looking for a 4 length studless beam and then discovers it doesn't fit ;)
  9. Bump back to the first page!
  10. I'm thinking of building one for the 7777 redux contest, or I could just submit the entire station once its finished. In any case, the money spent on buying 2x 7823 (I stumbled upon the third car by accident and it was all but free!) warrants me building a cargo-center in the future any way, so there will be one, I'm just not sure when! - Sok.
  11. I'm not quite sure about the exact means by which I fixed them..I like the idea of small posts but the current ones seem a bit fat. I also got my hands on a third signal mast :D
  12. I think it's possible that because of the T junction, once milk from one bottle starts flowing it 'draws' out milk from the other. never mind I think I misread you: What you want is make it pump either one or the other with one motor. You can do that by using one compressor and two switches, one for each bottle of milk. Also watch out with milk, it spoils easily and smells terrible once it does, you don't want your LEGO filled with that ;) - Sok.
  13. Buying original LEGO hose is really expensive, I think normal silicone hose with 2mm inner diameter will fit fine. - Sok.
  14. Alright cool, I'll be sure to visit LEGOworld this year. - Sok.
  15. While I like the looks of them I never had any and (probably because of that) don't feel the need to get one, they are really expensive and the options for track layouts and carriage design seem limited to me. - Sok.
  16. It doesn't have that study LEGO feel though :( Very good value for that money, they usually go for 120e or more.
  17. There are multiple shops in the Netherlands offering Unimogs for around 150 euro's excl. shipping, but the site they offer them on (marktplaats.nl) doesn't charge for ads. - Sok.
  18. I have bought a second one just a few days ago, it should be here by the weekend. I think I can modify the walkway slightly so that I can hang the signals from it, over their respective tracks. It'll still be only two (want 4), but it's better than nothing! I have also purchased some small 1x1 tiles numbered 1 through 4 and added them to the platforms. Assuming I have time this weekend, I will expand the last platform, add a small waiting room there and start adding the lights and signals. - Sok.
  19. Could you post a few pics of that?
  20. 7 looks nice with the double chairs and single row in between. How'd you fix them to the bottom plates?
  21. Or two of these: And one of these:
  22. I just realised you could make it faster by putting a larger bevel gear on the motor shaft, someone else posted a way to get that to work in one of the other threads here.
