That's amazing! The wands as belaying pins look really nice whether they hold securely or not, and the zip line handles are a clever idea! I kind of like her without square sails set - it looks like she's tacking upwind. Well done!

Thank you!

Lady F. now has a crew! An assistant would often sail the cutter back into port single-handed after transporting the pilot to a larger vessel. Surprisingly none! Maybe having the initial row of white tiles on the outside helped to stabilize the hull while applying the rest of the tiles. I still held my breath while placing them!

That's a lovely galleon! The base and nameplate designs look good too. -
[OL - FB2] Drydock, Beauchamp Shipyard

Another fantastic build! I can tell you put a lot of thought into how the drydock would work. It's nicely detailed and laid out. -

That's a beautiful build - truly worthy of an admiral! -
Wow, this is seriously impressive...even more that it can take standard curves!

Yes they are. I think anything else would have looked too bulky. Bragging rights You should check out the original short stories by G.K. Chesterton - much better than the show! I figured some combination of those and cheese slopes will probably be the best way to smooth the bottom.
-
Thank you - your wish is my command! The bottom is much blockier than I would prefer due to my currently limited selection of dark red parts. I may eventually rebuild the bottom with slopes and tiles for a smoother look.

We have a winner! @caiman0637 Thanks!

That's a really nice tower design and color scheme! The landscaping works well too.

I think @Cousarmy0001 is right - tiling the hull does make a difference. It took practically every black 1x2 and 2x2 tile in my collection, but I like its looks better now. @caiman0637 @evancelt Thanks for the feedback! Thank you! Thank you! That 4263 sounds like a good idea. I don't have one in my collection, but I think I'll keep an eye out for one next time I order parts. I'm also considering ordering some dark red slopes and tiles to smooth out the bottom. Edit: Bonus points for anyone who gets the name reference (without Googling it)!

That's a really nice design! It's more "realistically" scaled to minifigures compared to the typical school bus-sized dragons that shouldn't be able to fly. This one looks more agile. It's very posable too - well done!

Lady Felicia is a cutter based on those used by harbor pilots in the 19th century. The top part of the hull can detach from the base for use as a waterline model. Many thanks to @kurigan for developing the hull technique and @Captain Green Hair for his rigging tutorial. Thanks for looking! Soli Deo Gloria

Nice work! The 3-axle truck looks like a good improvement!

This is beautiful! The color scheme works reslly well and it's nicely detailed. -
Nice build - it's good to know that at least part of the canceled set will live on in your layout. Brilliant use of the pith helmet for the gramophone bell!

Thanks! I'm already using a few modern parts, so I might as well add some cheese slope too! Unfortunately I only have a few in brown and gray and none in green. I took @Alexandrina's suggestion and put an elevated step around the inside of the battlements. Now my defenders can step up to shoot and step back to take cover. I also added some light artillery to the defenses, based partly on a design by @evancelt that he shared here. Yes, we're moving Gilchester Keep into the age of gunpowder!

Nice build with lots of details! (At first I misread the title and thought it was Baby Yoda's hut!)

Nice battle scene! I like the designs for the muzzle blast and the well. The vegetation looks good too. Even though I'm a sea rat, my inner Anglophile can't help but root for Corrington!

Thank you! That's the local friar - the duke keeps him well-supplied with ale in exchange for no-questions-asked absolution! Yes, that's the trade-off with island fortifications...hard to besiege, but all the food has to be brought in by boat. Good point! I think I'll raise the floor by about two plates.
