  1. Those look like some good alternatives. My preference would be the one in the middle. But the model already looks great as-is!
  2. The bird is from one of the HP CMFs. This is a nice build! I like the vegetation and the technique used for the rock.
  3. Thank you! Thank you!
  4. Nice work! I like the color scheme and all the details.
  5. I like your angled approach! I don't think the gap will be noticeable at all in real bricks. If you're looking for more inspiration, have you seen this technique by @wes_turngrate?
  6. Nice build! The rockwork looks good and the mini ship is fantastic!
  7. What a lovely diorama! The buildings are brilliant on their own, but the addition of the palms and figures really sell it as a Caribbean colonial town. Nice work!
  8. Wonderful!
  9. Thank you! Indeed it is - good eye! Here's a closer view:
  10. Nice work! I'm impressed that you were able to capture the tapered boiler at this scale!
  11. That's a beautiful diorama! What part did you use for the water coming out of the fountain? (Also: thanks for dispelling some of the misconceptions that exist about us Sea Rats!)
  12. Great job powering such a small vehicle! The detailing looks good too.
  13. This is beautiful! (and I don't even care for diesels)! I thought it was an O-scale model at first - the detailing is that good!
  14. Well, as long as the topic's already been bumped.... Thank you! Thank you! Here's the station integrated into my layout: The whole thing is built on a 4'x4' piece of plywood, which can be stored under the guest bed on those rare occasions when I have company.
  15. Great review! This was one of my favorite sets back in the day. I've had the same problem with blue round bricks cracking.
  16. After picking up one of the HP CMFs as an impulse buy, I found that it contained a couple parts that I just had to integrate into Lady F. The torso from the little elf guy looked perfect for a 19th century pilot. The sprue that held his two keys together was just the right size to serve as an anchor for a small vessel. I think the stem is a little too thin compared to the flukes, but it works better than any of the brick-built solutions I've tried.
  17. @MAVERICK26 @GeoBrick @Professor Thaum Thank you!
  18. That looks great with the custom backgrounds! The last one is my favorite.
  19. Looking good! The rockwork and interior are especially nice, as well as the cord to control the cannon's recoil. Are those torsos custom printed?
  20. This looks great! I really like the building techniques for the windmill and how you've included the different steps in the refining process. Well done!
  21. Och aye, ye've got a bonny wee regiment there, laddie! Good job!
  22. Great job! You've captured a lot of detail and some difficult shapes in 4-wide.
  23. Oof...someone at the post office didn't get the memo that "next-day air" usually involves a plane! Thank you!
