Wow you have some fantastic sets there, and quite valuable too. You and your son will have hours of fun. Thanks for sharing and joining Eurobricks! Welcome.

Just saw this, sorry. Yeah he's just of age to start building mocs, so I'll help him down that route :P I'm thinking of a Castle and village moc.

Welcome to Eurobricks, William. Pleased to meet you.

Greeting Gerco. Welcome to Eurobricks! Come and join us over in the Historical section; you're moc is awesome and will be much appreciated there. Have you ever considered submitting to Lego Ideas? I'm sure we'd all support you :)

I feel you, dude. I think we both have similar interests and despair at the lack of Lego support for these themes such as Castle and Pirates. You know, I came to these message boards because of somebody in the Historic section posting his quitting Lego farewell. I can honestly say that he made the right choice for him, based on the fact that there has been ZERO support for those themes since then. Personally, I think I'll wait until the 2020 lineup becomes clear, and if there's no Historical things in scope, I'll just quit and stick to old Castle/Pirate stuff and maybe try my hand at mocs. Just wanted to chime in and say I hear that and agree.

We clearly run in different circles. Round these parts it's known. A football can be used to represent the Baller part. Edit: OMG just noticed that you actually did it. Thank you for recognising my local hero status.

Forgot to ask Mister Phes - where's my Big G Baller badge please? Thanks.

Welcome *back* to Eurobricks, @Littleworlds! Pleased to see somebody who was so active return to the fold.

Oh yes, it'd make a great Forestmen moc! What do you think, @Marghal?

Welcome to Eurobricks, Moritz! I hope you don't get overwhelmed with this whole forum thing and stick with it. It's great to have more Lego fans here.

Short answer: No. Long answer: It depends whats in it. Generally, on eBay, random part lots go for around £10 per kilo, so €15 (which converts to around £13) is inflated. I never buy from people that sell in lots like that because the idea of buying random lots for me is the hope that I'll find something cool or potentially a complete set, but if they're splitting randomly then you'd need all of the lots to do that. Also, I suspect that sellers just pick out all of the truly good stuff.

So I went to see Toy Story 4 with my boy last weekend and the trailer for the Playmobil Movie came on; and now he wants to see it! I felt slightly besmirched :) It seemed to have Pirates and potentially Knights in it, which he's really into and Lego doesn't do those anymore, so I feel like I have to see this for him. P.S. - It looked pretty funny.

Welcome Charles! You sound like a do-er, and we like those types round these parts. Congratulations of your book!

Thanks for all of the info, people. Sorry for derailing this thread.
