  1. Why am I just learning about this? Where can I find more info? The info is spartan on Brickipedia.
  2. Welcome to Eurobricks, Steven! Pleased to meet you.
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks, Mark! I hope to see you joining in the conversation.
  4. Welcome to Eurobricks, Simon! Good luck with the channel.
  5. Yeah but you could say that about most mocs on Ideas. The vast majority are in existing themes, use old elements and probably would be consumer friendly I current form. I believe the Exosuit is a good example of this. The designers could help overcome a lot of that.
  6. Way to take the wind out of my sails man lol. I suppose that accounts for the rugby supreme ball too. Oh well.... new shield at least!?
  7. I stayed up and found it for you... Listen from 1:30:00 onwards for a few mins. It wasn't pick a brick it was "grab bags". He talks about similar things throughout so I recommend listening to the whole thing.
  8. No, but I will attempt to find out for you tomorrow night (It's sleepy time for me right now haha).
  9. Yes, and it's quite interesting. I'm not in a place to provide info at the moment but essentially, Lego were to release some licensed NBA sets and they actually made it to some stores in the US. Short version...they got told to pull them after the licensing agreement hit a bump and ended up pouring the bricks into pick a brick. The boxes were scrapped. It's only known about because people were finding unknown pieces in stores. MandRproductions Bricks 'n' Bits series had a former store employee on once that elaborated on this.
  10. Well it's very visually similar to the heraldry for the house of Lancaster or York. Unreleased War of the Roses theme? A man can dream right? haha But CMF line? Hmm... I'm beat
  11. According to @Rockstaremcee over in the Minifig customisation forum, he saw this in shield form in the Build-a-Minifigure section of a lego store. Here it is on Bricklink. I know that some Lego stores pick-a-brick get parts from discontinued or never-released Lego sets/themes, like what happened with the unreleased NBA licence. Speculate, I suppose - but why is it on Bricklink??
  12. Check this out: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b48f0a29-e7a7-4fcf-b612-a73e6a106e83
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, @tsuah. Pleased to meet you.
  14. Do you know in what context this appears in stores? Like, is it a decoration on walls, in the custom minifigure selection, with a promotion or something else? I've searched online for both crossed keys and lions in heraldry and cannot find one like this, although it seems very familiar.
  15. This really seems to be flying under the radar, but it looks great and the potential for sets from this is great; not to mention the new generation of kids that'll love it. BTW, the first episode is available to watch for free, here: I plan to watch it with my boy this weekend. I hope he likes it.
  16. I like it! I think I'd prefer brown to red to offset the yellow/white, but I think it looks grand.
  17. OMG it got there!! Yes!!! Congratulations Namirob!!!! However, we cannot rest on our laurels... Let's really get behind @Mark of Falworth's Black Falcon's Fortress next: It's the next highest Castle themed idea and I think, well deserving of more support.
  18. Added Wizards Wonder House by Si97F: Please support - only 3 days left for this one!
  19. That's great. Thank you.
  20. Added Carldenburg Castle by Rustybricks24: And this Desert Palace by SirMiniLasha: And Lego Furnishings - The Palace Light House - Table Lamp by Kitto Camden:
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks. I'm glad to hear that you'll be sharing mocs because I for one, really like classic themes and would love to see more classic styled mocs. Especially in Castle.
  22. Well no but those eras have never had a full theme, so can't come back. I do think that both ancient Rome or Greece (or Rome vs Greece - for thematic purposes rather than historical accuracy) would make a great limited theme though.
  23. That sounds great; I look forward to seeing it.
  24. Thank you both. I can now make a more informed decision.
