Welcome to Eurobricks, Rockstaremcee! I'm always so pleased to see fellow Castle fans join Eurobricks! As you can see from my avatar, Wolfpack is dear to me, as well as Forestmen, Black Falcons, Crusaders etc... Hope to see you posting in the Historical sections.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Max! My best advice is to save money for when you spot something you really like, then wait for it to go on sale with Amazon or your local retailer. Check Amazon daily and wait for at least 30% off the recommended retail price.

Welcome to Eurobricks, hsousa! Glad to see another vintage Lego fan here. -
Welcome to Eurobricks! Lego is not a problem at all. Space can become a problem though, but we ignore that here. I see that you like Castle/Fantasy - me too! Hope to see you in the Historical sections.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Arne! I bet your sister has some great stories about working at Lego in Billund. If you ever would like to share, do let us know :)

Yeah I agree, although I also like the licensed themed CMF lines. I think at least 1 non-licensed series should be guaranteed every year, with the other two reserved for whatever they want. Also, as a Castle fan, it's pretty much our last bastion of hope for new stuff.

Bit of a generalisation there. Speaking for myself, I'll be happy with any Castle theme that stays in tune with any previous wave, with the exception of perhaps Knights Kingdom II, although even that had it's moments.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Witold! Pleased to see another Brit around these parts.

I'll bear it in mind although "My name is leafan" translates to "Mi nombre es leafan" on that website, so "horses for courses".

Lego Ideas Support Thread - Historical/Castle
leafan replied to leafan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Fair enough. I'm not here to provide critique; just to bring Historically themed ideas into view and let people be their own judge. I don't tend to link LDD submissions though. Only physical for the most part.- 532 replies

Well not you. You're pretty good! :)

Ha, the funny thing is that "Me llamo leafan" is what I had remembered from my Spanish classes, but I Googled it to double check and read differently lol. I guess my Spanish teacher was better than Google translate :)

I feel like Eurobricks is something of an old boys club
leafan replied to ProvenceTristram's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't see why "wishy washy" is an issue; I didn't mention it. But yeah I'd rather people be clear, of course. No because, ironically, you were not clear. I have rarely looked at that thread. But, as @Fuppylodders eluded to, I think there's been a misunderstanding: Yeah seems so. I'm still not sure honestly. If you're only referring to the SW thread, fair enough; if not, then I take exception to your lazy comments. So what is it? -
Might be a silly question, but have you pressed the little direction button on the base of the battery unit to either the left or right side? If it's centred the train won't move.

The Sword of the Seas has arrived to LEGO Ideas dockss
leafan replied to paokus's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ooh I'll have to look out for that one. I'd been waiting for it to drop to around £15, because I'm a cheap-skate. -

leafan replied to paokus's topic in LEGO Pirates
May I make a suggestion, @paokus.... I've never seen a walkable plank on a Lego pirate ship. Admittedly, I've not seen all existing ships as they're far too expensive but it seems like a great play-feature. Kids love making the bad guys "walk the plank". Maybe for a future design? :) I can wish right? -
Welcome York. That's a nice name. I am pleased to see a fellow Castle and Space fan - hopefully you still like Castle too? I hope to see you posting here often.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Franz! Pleased to meet you.

Welcome to Eurobricks, Lufobrick! I understood you perfectly; thanks for making the effort to post in English for us. Pleased to meet you. Il n'y a rien de moche dans la langue française.

Welcome MuscoviteSandwich, pleased to meet you. I must say that Black-Brick is more catchy lol.
