  1. This is the first time I've seen it next to another ship. The UCS Slave 1 is on the larger side so the Bomber is huge. I assume this is larger than minifig scale?
  2. @Rubblemaker How do you think this compares in size to the Brick Vault version? It looks like yours has around 25% of the pieces that the Brick Vault version has.
  3. My completely uninformed, not a lawyer opinion is that there isn't a difference between All Out Brick and Brickvault. Hope I'm wrong but, it wouldn't surprise if Brickvault were also contacted by the Mouse's lawyers in due course.
  4. These companies have always been on shaky legal ground. I've always assumed that they were small enough to fly under the radar. Hopefully, this is a one-off.
  5. Is the parts list available for this set or do you have to buy the instructions to get it? I aways like to see what I pieces I already have before committing to buying instructions. I've found that if you email Brick Vault, sometimes they send the piece list out and sometimes they respond with an estimate of how much it'll cost, which isn't much use when you're trying to work out if you already have some of the pieces.
  6. Definite improvement on what we've seen before. However, I'm still not convinced by it.
  7. It's been cheaper than that!!! I would have taken the lot for parts at that price.
  8. I've seen posts on Reddit of people getting Boba Fett's Palace for stupidly low prices from Costco.
  9. A lightsaber with the UCS RC would make it a day one purchase for me. With the way things are at the moment it seems likely that price increases will occur during it's lifespan so waiting for discounts could result in you paying more for it.
  10. How strong is the evidence against Horatio Sanz? His Wikipedia page states that he has claimed that the accusations are "categorically false". A cursory look on Google doesn't turn up much in the way of evidence either way.
  11. I think the instructions for this are now being sold by Brick Vault. If you send them an email they're usually happy to send out a parts list so you can cost the purchase before committing to buying the instructions.
  12. Solid Brix's review of The Justifier makes it look like a very easy set to not bother with. Annoying as it has some very desirable minifigures.
  13. I ordered two via the UK site last night. I expected the order to be cancelled as I ordered two a couple of months ago but, it's showing as 'In warehouse' so fingers crossed. It's an obvious army builder set so hopefully everyone gets what they want before EOL.
  14. Sounds about right. I don't have any Ewoks yet so I'll need to get it. Hopefully, there will be a decent discount at some point. The Hoth AT-ST has Chewbacca so you might have got the sets mixed up?
  15. Lego have been disappointingly stingy with the figures on the last few UCS sets. Wouldn't suprise me if they limited it to Mando and Grogu (hope I'm wrong obviously).
  16. That's the plan for when I eventually get around to building it. Unfortunately, I need to redesign it from the ground up first as it was done on the fly so the bricks aren't placed in a logical order.
  17. My initial thought is that they would want to release multiple sets with Kaminoans. I assume that the mould is unique to this figure so they'll want to get some use from it. Might be wrong, of course!
  18. Thanks. It's a lot closer than I expected.I thought 75218 was a lot longer.
  19. Does anyone have photos of this next to 75218 and 75301? it would be interesting to compare the size differences.
  20. Thanks for the suggestions and comments everyone
  21. The MOC was designed in Studio. This is my first attempt at using any type of graphic design software. The design is completely studless. I wanted all of the top-level to be the same height but couldn't work out how to make the arches line up. Let me know if anyone has any feedback or tips on using the software.
  22. One of my friends thinks that some of the building techniques are similar to those used in the AAT, which was a "ball ache" to put together on a significantly smaller vehicle. It looks amazing but, I'll stick with my UCS version.
  23. It's more or less minifig scale. The cockpit is always bigger when we see inside the ship but, I get the impression they give the ship Tardis qualities when they make the sets. The Brick Vault version has more than double the number of pieces of the UCS version. From looking at the pictures, this might be due to replacing a few large pieces with lots of small pieces rather than increasing the size of the ship. The windscreen from the UCS ship goes for stupid amounts so I'm not sure how they'll get around that issue.
