  1. Very artistic! I wouldn't mind seing this shot from minifig point of view, although it could maybe use something more in the foreground. Still, very nice and thanks for sharing.
  2. Nice work! I particuarly like the name on the front of the ship, very well done. But what does SMS stand for? Do you have any more images hosted on a site like Brickshelf or Flickr? I'd love to see more images of this wonderful creation!
  3. Wonderful train! I really like your undercarriage on the yellow and black wagon. It's a great mix of that classic feel with some not-so-classic high attention to detail. But I think you've done a wonderful job, and I'm pleased to see you've presented it with minifigs too! But please resize your images to a max of 800 x 600, it's lucky I have a good connection otherwise they would have taken me ages to download! You can find a useful tutorial on resizing here.
  4. Woah, that's a minifig I wouldn't mess with! Haha, he hurls a guy accross a room with a single slap? Only in LEGO...
  5. Aside from the appreciation of photography and the fact that I often carry a camera in my hand, there is no resemblance whatsoever between me and my sigfig.
  6. Ah, glad to see this finally released! Wonderful work there CP team. Everyone, this has been a WIP for many months now, a lot of effort from many different people has gone into this presentation. Hopefully it may pay off.
  7. Another great brickflick from fallentomato! I can't say I really understand the helmet thing, why she couldn't speak to him with the hair on I'm still not sure, but that's fine! I really love this series of animations, and I think you're doing a wonderful job! Would you be interested in being interviewed on The Brick Broadcast about your wonderful animation projects? If you are, shoot me a PM! It's disappointing there aren't more responses to this thread, doesn't really motivate fallentomato to continue with these wonderful projects...Come on EB members!
  8. Happy Birthday Henk! I hope you have a wonderful day, hopefully no gnomes will go walkabout at the party. Brilliant comic too Ratshot, I love the fact that baby Zuloo has a still camera. Tops work, a great birthday present indeed.
  9. Thanks for the kind words TheBrickster! I had great fun conducting this interview, Tim also had plenty of interesting things to say when we were just talking LEGO after it too. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks again Tim for joining me on The Brick Broadcast.
  10. Surely you have a setting in your software which allows you to allow certain sites? Because Bing is inferior.
  11. Very nice, good to see some custom sails in there too! Only thing I'd recommend is for you to raise the forecastle. Typically the forward part of a galleon was raised so by doing the same on your model it would be more of a gelleon and less of a Brickbeard's Bounty.
  12. Clearly a lot of time and effort into not only giving this functionality, but also a good exterior appearance. And it's kept in 6-wide. Well done, an exceptional model!
  13. It sounds as though it could be some irritating Internet Explorer feature. My family who use IE always complain to me when IE won't let them into a site because it is potentially dangerous. I wouldn't worry about it too much, we know this site is safe, as is Bricklink.
  14. I don't think you're being paranoid, I think that email has SPAM written all over it. I'm sure with the confirmation of the other members it is indeed legit, but I believe you had every reason to be concerned.
  15. Nice to see some Johnny Thunder parts used in a Napoleonic themed MOC. I look forward to seeing them in action! But resize your image! I'm on the slowest connection in the world at the moment and it took me over a minute to download that one image!
  16. In the meantime, just blog lots and the missing images won't even be noticable!
  17. You're currently on the discussion forum. Just because the http://forum.classic-pirates.com/ link on the site isn't working doesn't mean the forum is offline. Else how would you be posting in it now?
  18. It's a nice idea, but be prepared for some odd accents. So long as you film at 15fps or more, I'm in and I'd be happy to voice my character. Might I suggest Cutlass Iz?
  19. Looks great Mister Phes, you've gotten this running in excellent time since you started working on the theme! It looks wonderful, and you've done a brilliant job. Just a little bug fixing here and there and the site is ready!
  20. All aboard for episode #5 of The Brick Broadcast! In this episode Connor speaks with Tim Gould (gambort). They discuss Tim's role as a blogger on The Brothers Brick as well as his amazing contributions to the LEGO train community as well as where he finds inspiration for his creations and more! Check it out on our official website and discuss!
  21. Haha, brilliant work Henk, glad I could make it to the party. A very happy birthday to you Dieter, I wish apon you another year full of piratical pleasures and pillaging!
  22. Haha, cute little MOC there! Makes me want to go out and eat a small boy. Although you probably won't do this MOC again, if you were to improve it I would suggest only using the one type of piece for the balls (in as many colours as you can find). My personal preference would be the 1 x 1 round plates. A great use of the new shark piece, and a brilliant concept using the black border/caption image. Top effort there!
  23. Indeed! This is truly an amazing piece of work. It is so smooth, very realistic. And the stickers add a heap of detail! This is a great MOC. But what are those black tube 1 x 2 tube parts on the laddery thing? Is that cut flexitube?
  24. I would disagree and argue that v2 is better. The tiled top adds a great deal of realism. The SNOT sides are also brilliant. The only suggestion I would make, is get rid of the black 1 x 2 x 1 panel at each end of the train. I'm not really sure why they're there and I think it will prevent you building 6-wide containers (which look far betther than 4-wide IMO). But great start, I'll be following this project until completion! Well done.
  25. Many happy returns, may you stay at the helm for many years to come!
