  1. So cute! Lovely build!
  2. What a neat build!
  3. I tried to find a better words, but failed. :-) I completely missed the knight's sword the first time, it's very nice. I just hope that it isn't too bulky. If it is reasonably sized, I'll try to get at least dozen of those. Not only that, but I'd love to know if lego finds use for thos parts other than CMF and such. I know that there are thousands of unused moldings that gather dust in lego vault, so it's totally possible that it's a one-shot affair, but I hope that they'd use this in a new Castle line.
  4. Viking is sick. I'm really sad to inform you guys, but there won't remain any spare for you. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  5. Man, if that's true, it'll be cool! now make me a 10th century sword, a BF-like spear and a nice brown-silver one-piece axe, and I can die in peace! Yep, very much this.
  6. Is this true? Is this real? Imagine we were given an accurate viking helmet, a period-true sword and another chainmail torso! I'd be happy like a small boy!
  7. Cool little build! I like how you went for a rather bigger base than necessary, moreover full of details, but not overdone. I really think that the only (and slight) criticism can be raised about the tower: it could be a tiny bit wider, maybe just two studs. It's a very gracile build and especially for a military structure, this could be sturdider and more spacious, so that the soldiers have a bit more of a comfort. Nice water. Maybe you could add a small pier or boat to stimulate imagination: do the soldiers fish in their free time? Or is this a tower by the river and they check trade ships? But part of the beauty is in the simple design, and a boat or pier could become a distraction and obscure the water. Nice one!
  8. @TeriXeri This could force me to switch to medern hoses! A-ma-zing!
  9. That's lovely! I'm a huge fan of Heroes III, in fact we play them with my wife every Friday and Saturday, so I hope that you'll continue this project! <3
  10. Nice one once again! I see that thsi is even more classic than your previous MOC. The wall section is really 1980's. Nice idea with the arcades. Do the mounted figures fit under? It looks like it's high enough, right? Oh, and a wonderful tree!
  11. This is brilliant. I wrote it before, but I'll write it again: you should be a head designer for lego's Castle line. Absoultely stunning work. Speaking of minifigs: when making the photographs, maybe look closely for small details. in the fourth photo, some figs have hidden faces behind either another figs or their headgear, one shield is also completely blocked from view. This is not an easy thing to spot, namely if you photograph in a hurry or with a small camera. But this is a very minor detail, and it doesn't change anything about your marvelous MOC. Btw, could you list your minifigs, please? I'd be interested in the size of your collection. I'm trying to make/collect something for a bigger idea, but I cannot make up my mind. So many choices... :-)
  12. That'll be absolutely sick set. Maybe @pantelis could try to create something like that?
  13. That site is dead. Or close to that. I had troubles joining, and there's no one to contact, as most of the contacts are defunct, outdated, or what. It'll be nice forum, but it's in stupor.
  14. Wow! 5000 bricks? That's insane! I don't think that I'll ever have a patience and skill for such grandiose build! Amazing work!
  15. I don't like the blue invasion vessel used by Forestmen, it would better fit into some WW2 Normandy MOC. This is an extremely cool build! You really found your own oldschool-yet-modern style of sets that bring back nostalgic memories, but they are mature, detailed, coherent, and cleverly built. Brilliant scale: big enough to impress and be true to the minifigures' size - Great choice of minifigures, as always - , yet not a gigantic one to become an impossible set. How many bricks did you use? And how many hours did you need?
  16. Oh, I missed htat cheat. But it's still lovely building. Yep, those helms are really cool, I'm saving for a dozen of them!
  17. "I miss simpler items that have been phased out - like the pointed helmet of yore: IMO, while I tended to overlook it a lot at the time, that really was my favorite Castle-themed headware, and I wish it would come back in some more modern silvered colors. It's not that I dislike the newer gear, but it was cool that that particular helmet offered both protection, realistic looks, AND allowed your to display the character's face. There was something almost kingly about it, too - very reminiscent of the armored crowns that so many monarchs wore into battle."
  18. I remember Michael's modular castle, and it's nice that you've done everything possible to credit the original. I hope that this won't jeopardize your work, because it's one of the most brilliant ideas I've seen in past year. Well... this year, but you know what I mean.
  19. Windmill Defense is so late-1990's-Lego absurd that it's lovely! :-D Cool stuff all other, too!
  20. Imagine if only Lego made the viking helmets without the sill horns... Lovely builds. The Viking Hall is really cool, i like the colour scheme, woodcutting, and the minifigs choice.
  21. Nice set. I'd love to have one such back in 1984. Cleverly designed technical parts. Inspiring stuff, indeed!
  22. I like what TeriXeri wrote, that'll be great: a set with two castles!
  23. Lots of new cool stuff! I really like the ship, and the modular castle is lovely!
  24. <3 And thanks for YOUR wishes, and of course for the cool calendar! :-)
