Great LD! The colours on the cliffs is so nice! You can really feel where the sea is reaching up when it´s flood! Even in pirate mocs and with this "official" set it´s so much you LD! You have a special colour scheme that is so you! Well done my friend! Now redo all the castle sets for Avalonia!!!

Wow Ska, that´s one long post! I agree with the most but have to read the post some more before I can say my final word.. One thing that caught my eye was this: C) No 5th joinable guild will be created for Book 2, but the membership can vote to open up a new “joinable” guild every 3 challenges. MikeyB, as guildleader of Valyrio, will automatically have a position on the Plot Directorate if he wishes until the guild becomes a full, joinable guild. Do you mean that a new guild can open after three challenges? I think our biggest concern right now are the limited access to members and to divide them into even more Guilds feels like a long shot. Soon every member will have their own guild..? So I think that five guilds is more than enough...

Looks great! Welcome to GoH! Choose the guild which suits you the best... Avalonia have many members so if you feel like, you can choose one of the others to help them grow stronger...

I am totally fine with this ship thing going on and that we could builds mocs to earn ship points and then set sails into new continents. The thing I´m against is that I don´t want this to be the pirate GoH with pirates, islanders and redcoats all over the place. GoH is meant to be a castle thing. But now when all the cards have been showed, it does not look like anyone want´s to go inte the pirate era but stay here in the castle era but to be able to build ships?

Looks good Ludzik! Maybe some more minifigs to poulate your castle? I have a lot of ideas when the CH 6 is over. I will build a larger moc for the title "King of the Castle", some more mocs in Varlyrio, smaller mocs showing Lena and de Gothia in different situations(don´t want to say to much!) and so on. Perhaps build some smaller mocs in Kaliphlin as I feel I have a lot to learn when building their style!

I think we are discussing two questions here but we deal with it like it´s one... 1. How do we want GoH to be after the last challenge is over? 2. How can we recruit new members to GoH? The first question is discussed over and over again. Some want to keep the clock ticking and some want to be were we are right now. That´s why I still think we should have a poll for it and let´s the democracy decide for us. The second question is a lot harder. I think that the decline of members after ch 2 is because most of the people don´t want to be in a project for to long. I´m still amazed that so many of us "survied" all the challenges... I don´t think that a new era in GoH will make more members come to us. Maybe a few but I don´t think that they will come beacuse we have something new and exciting, they will just come as Gideon, Brickington and other members have come the last months. For me, I have a ton´s of ideas for my Benoic, Albion and Avalonia. So for me it would be great if we could stay in this era we are right now. If some of us want´s to explore new guilds, lands, make boats etc it´s totally fine with me. DM have been making new guilds all the time so that wouldn´t be a mayor problem. The problem I see, is that if we make GoH something between castle and pirate.

Well, if you serach the forum you will find many castle mocs. Go to www.classic-castle.com and see their mocs as well. Then you have www.flickr.com and www.brickshelf.com to see more mocs. Just search for moc and castle and you will find many of them!

I thought that the cannons and firearms in GoH were very unstable and could easily explode. The impressons I got was that we now should enter a new era in time where those things would actually work well... And that era isn´t intresting for me at all..

Agreed! Why didn´t we think about that a year ago!! Much more fun to see a intro of the sigfigs. Maybe something we could do after the Ch 6 is over..?

Thanks LD! You´re right about the ground. I have ordered many 1x2 dk tan and dk green in the LUGBULK so I hope to make the ground a little more scattered.

I think, and it has been said before by others, that GoH is the hangout place for EB´s castle builders. Not many castle moc´s are shown in the Historic theme forum, instead that´s the place for LOTr and Hobbit moc´s. To take GoH into the renessance and gunpowder feels like a Pirate GoH which feels very far away from my intrest. I want to keep building in the medieval era. I think it would be great to emerge all these posts and make a new one. "How do you want GoH?". Make some polls on how advanced and in what time frame we want to build in and then discuss the results in that thread.

Agreed! But how? I think that i´ts great that the Guild Leaders gave us an enemy. That way we can make battle scenes, preparations for war and so on. But war between the guilds is a bad idea I think... The trashtalk is fine, but the enemy should be someone like we have now with Revolword. I would love to see some more mocs showing our sigfigs travels to the other guilds. Pushing ourselves to build out of our comfort zone and interact more with eachother. Let say that I travel to Kaliphlin to meet DM. I build a moc showing how I come to Mpya Stedor. DM can then build a moc with my sigfig in Mpya Stedor... More titles and mini challenges like everyday life, ships, quarrys, lumberjacking etc. The titles should be for everyone and not just "in guild titles". That way we could see an Avalonian lumberjack, a Mitgardia one as well as a Kaliphlin one. Well, I´m tired... Just shooting some ideas for the second phase of GoH!

Thanks Ecc. I can agree with you on the kneeling part. That do look weird if you see it from the side. The body looks twisted and broken like the woman with the kids. Looking at the minifig from the front makes it quite natural I think. You don´t see their foots on the wrong side.
