  1. You can just make it out on the upper left area near his head. It is probably the same as the one that comes with Rex.
  2. I keep wanting to get that Stormtrooper clock, but I end up using the money to buy something else instead. I wonder if that Boba Fett has the jetpack? I don't suppose it has his little cape.
  3. Wow! That is exactly what I was thinking. Definitely something I will want to do if I ever get it for myself.
  4. Maybe the thread should be locked or taken down since the pics consist of broken links. Kind of a pointless review without the pics. And for the record, there are other websites with preliminary images of some the new 2012 sets that are not on the Eurobrick Star Wars 2012 rumors thread. Perhaps that banned fellow was hoping some of the Lego insiders had some knowledge about it. I guess we'll never know now.
  5. It's official then. I'm an idiot because I completely missed it.
  6. The point would be that you could have a great playset AND model of the Death Star I. That's like saying we should never have updated models of anything ever again because it already has been made. Besides Death Star II is very different from Death Star I as we all know. The way I see it, this is slated to be the ultimate Star Wars set of all time. Why not truly make it as such. I have a hunch people would still buy it at a higher price. Not sure about $200 more, but certainly it would be more expensive and more awesome IMO.
  7. As awesome as this set is, and make no mistake I feel it is completely great, I can't help but feel it would have been even better if they had a shell of some kind to cover it up and make it also function as a model of the Death Star. Then we would have the very best of both worlds.
  8. Not sure the story on these. I just know it's listed on Brinkset for 2011. I haven't seen them personally. However, the listing reads that for the AT-ST it was a promotional give away with The Sun in the UK back on May 21st. Because I'm a moron I keep forgetting to check the seasonal section like I did with that AAT. I could have missed it for all I know.
  9. Wow, prices certainly are crazy high over there I guess. In fact I don't recall seeing a DVD only version here in the US. It is a Walmart exclusive over here I believe, and the blu-ray+DVD set is $13. With that said, I'm sure you can find a reasonably priced Han figure.
  10. Seeing this scene in Lego form still makes me laugh as much as seeing the movie.
  11. There's supposed to be an AT-ST and a Venator class attack cruiser.
  12. Wow, that is kind of surprising. I suppose they simply had old stock that they discovered. In a similar way I am surprised that my local TRU has some Battle of Endor sets on the shelves that were not there earlier this year.
  13. I'm glad you mentioned it was in the Halloween section. Last time I went I was looking in the front check out aisles. Ugh! Edit: I was able to pick up 2 at my local Target. I should have realized it wouldn't be in the check out aisle as these polybags have no holes from which to hang from a peg. There seemed to be plenty of them. $3.99 in my area.
  14. I really like that tree house set. I think it would go well with some of the Creator houses. I think my daughter will like some of these. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the rather simplified builds. I was hoping for more complex structures for the various buildings. Overall, not bad, and IMO better than Belleville.
  15. I would like to make that helicopter in an army green or navy grey. It would look very nice. I also like the muscle car that comes with the Police Dog Van. 2012 will be another good year I think.
  16. It's been out at Walmart for a few weeks now for $24.97. I'm sure it's also at the Lego stores and S@H.
  17. Not sure if it's the same in your country, but the Blu-ray set comes with a DVD as well.
  18. This looks really cool. I feel the telephone piece is probably the best thing ever created for sci-fi Lego models.
  19. Thanks. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. I think the original blog was from much earlier this year. I won't hold my breath until I can see some legitimate pics. What threw me off was that they had pics of the Friends theme and even some 2012 Star Wars sets so I thought they had some inside knowledge.
  20. I have to give this set a Poor rating. The minifigures are decent, but I have to say the rest of it seems like very little play value. I imagine it would get boring after about 15 minutes of playing with it.
  21. Can anyone translate this page? It has something about LOTR, but I don't know if it's just speculation or real. Sorry if this has been posted already, but it was dated Aug. 10th and I haven't heard much about it. http://www.miniland.nl/Nieuws/index.htm Since it's not in English I had trouble naviagting the site. I first went to the link "LEGO Super Heroes van 2012 (16-09-2011)" then I scrolled to the bottom where there were other links to something about LOTR, The Hobbit, and even Godzilla. For some reason I can only link to the main page so I cut and pasted this info. Edit: it could be speculation based on some previous blogs. I'll take it down until I know different. You can navigate to the page and see for yourself.
  22. Thanks for the tip. I've been waiting for those to show up. Time to check Target.
  23. Seeing this MOC makes me wish they did more Star Wars scenes and buildings. They would be great for general futuristic themes and the like.
  24. It would be a good set only if priced much lower. I will see if I can get that Santa Yoda through the secondary market.
  25. Picked up the Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopedia today at TRU. It was 10% off this week and I used that $5 coupon, which I missed using on that AT-AT. All is well.
