Just show us the damn car! Just kidding. Looking forward to it. :)

Got a little tremor here in Philly. Kinda weird. I've always loved Pennsylvania for the fact that we don't get hurricanes and earthquakes. So much for that.

That's a nice looking fire truck, good job. I've always been a fan of the fire truck sets that Lego comes out with. Yours could qualify as an actual Lego kit. It really looks good.

I really like that hopper in the picture above. That's a great build, very prototypical.

That's a great idea and I think it looks pretty good. I use the Micro-trains (same as kadee) couplers on my n-scale trains and they make a quality product. I would have thought you would need to drill but I guess not. Nice work.

Awesome train cars! They're simple yet prototypical and work brilliantly. The colors you chose are perfect and I like them all. Great job!

Thanks for the awesome review! I missed this entire theme when it was out and wished I didn't. I would love it if Lego brought back something like this. I've lost a couple bidding wars on eBay for some of this theme. Reading this review makes me want it that much more! What a great set!

This isn't quite my genre but after reading the review I wouldn't mind owning this. I liked the videos you included to show the play action to reveal the dragon, very cool. If I get a chance to purchase this at a reasonable price I just might. The base for this is very cool. Great review, thanks!

Excellent detailed review. I already own two of them, maybe I'll go for a third.

Awesome review and thank you. God, I wish I would have been out of my dark ages when this came out. The going rate on eBay is usually $50 or more for this one. I would have bought a fleet of them back in the day. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get my hands on this one eventually.

REVIEW: 7962 Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers

Very nice detailed review. The set is done very well and I'm quite surprised by it. I wouldn't think they could capture that amount of detail and they did it very well. I personally didn't like much about episode 1 so I won't be buying this. Again, great review. -
There are a few stores near me that still have this series in stock. I would think they would have gone to clearance already but they haven't. If they did I might purchase one of them but I wouldn't buy one at full price. Its not the worst series but I just don't think it's very appealing. I did appreciate the review though. Good job.

I bought this one and I'll admit I like your version better. Great work!

Another good review, Rufus. This one I may actually get as I have a use for these pieces. I've never seen a review on a set like this before so thank you for that.
-
Nice review. I would buy this series if it wasn't so expensive. It just seems a little over priced.

Trains, definitely trains. It could easily go with City too so the both of them really go hand in hand. Even as a child I had more Lego town than anything else. But then again, there were not as many options back then.

I have a 4 year old autistic daughter and she doesn't play with them properly. She would rather scratch them than build with them. That being the case she doesn't get to touch daddy's Lego's but I have given her several minifigures. When she's a little older things will change and hopefully we can play together.

My first was set 600 with the first real minifigure. Not the most exciting set. My favorite was when I got 6395 Victory Lap raceway, I still have it. Sorry, I can't do pics from my iPhone.

I really like your shunter at the top. A very nice little switcher. Nice work. You've also got some other interesting builds going on there. Keep 'em coming!
-
Ooooohh very nice. I like this much better than the one included in the last cargo set. Much more prototypical. Nice work.

I just use one controller for all my loco's. I find it easier than having a couple when one can run up to 8 I think. It's a very easy system, you just need to remember what channel each loco is on. Normally I only run two at a time so I just switch from the left to the right dial. Very easy.
-
Well, it was started back in 2009. I would say the Maersk engine. I love American railroading especially the 70's and 80's. The Maersk loco is a take on an EMD SD-45 or similar model. I just wish Lego would do more American diesel models.

Laptop pieces from BAM or PAB? What store?

Your first minifigure?
22kane replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Mine was the first figure, the police officer from set 600 that someone gave me. My brother also handed down to me the original figures with no faces when I was a child. They sure have come a long way. I still have that police officer too. -
Are you like me? Do you constantly search out minifigures and keep buying them? When is enough, enough? I have been fortunate enough to obtain full sets from every series but really the only series that will be worth anything down the road will be 1 & 2. Not that I buy them as investment only because I truly like them and will always keep some around. The problem is that I stockpile them, insane amounts of them. Anyone else having this problem? I just can't stop! It's just so hard to pass them by without buying a handful. Not that I'm looking for advice, I'd just like to hear about others and their collecting "issues".
