  1. Thanks for the info. I can't wait to see this new police/ fire forest line. Good work.
  2. Really, really cool stuff. I love the whole take on Ikea and some of the furniture actually looks like something they would sell. Do your designs fall apart like the real Ikea products? Just kidding. Awesome job!
  3. I have many sealed sets mainly because I don't have the room to display them all. Some of the sets, I'm just in no rush to open them so they are more or less saved for a rainy day. I do own a few duplicate sets just to see what their value may be years down the road however I have not bought all sets for that purpose. Sometimes I find it quite difficult to actually open a particular set in fear that it will become worthless. All in all I collect to collect, I don't do it as a get rich scheme because there really isn't a lot of money in turning sets over. If I like a set I buy it with the thought that I might build it someday.
  4. Very cool builds. I really like the black and yellow one, great choice in colors. Nice work.
  5. Broke out all my old Smiths records and listening to them in chronological order. The Smiths just never get old to me.
  6. I was actually in the same Lego store the other day to buy the new Milenium Falcon and they ran out of the airplane. Instead I received set 7804 Lizard for free.
  7. Very cool! I was expecting just a ceremony shot but I got the added bonus of a story. Nice work.
  8. Outstanding work! It's absolutely beautiful! Makes me want to build my own.
  9. Very cool build! I always thought Lego should do a Thomas line for the kids, I'd even buy a few. Nice work
  10. Picked up the new Millenium Falcon 7965 and another Luke's Landspeeder 8092 at the Lego store today. Very excited to build the MF!
  11. Just bought 7965 Millenium Falcon and another 8092 Lukes Land Speeder at the Lego store. Got a bunch of bonus VIP points and a free Creator lizard or frog thing.

Outstanding build! I love the detail. Great work!
  13. A lot of Cars sets went to clearance in some of the large retailers. I actually bought 8487 at Target for $27.99 a little while back. Just because it's a good deal doesn't mean it's stolen or a scam, you just need to be careful with the cheaper popular sets.
  14. I must say I wasn't a fan of the loco from that set. Mine actually is stripped of its PF components. I do really like it in the greens and orange color though and wish mine was in one of those colors. That was a great idea and it made it much more appealing. Nice job.
  15. I bought the X-Wing 6212 from TRU yesterday in store for $50. I was really shocked to see a set from 2006 on the shelves. They are giving out Harry Potter promo set 30110 trolley cart with any $30 or more purchase too.
  16. Interesting choice of colors on the box cars. I like the design of them as well as the expanded EN coach. Nice work.
  17. I dont open too many of them. The ones that I do are displayed throughout the house, the kitchen, bedroom and living room. Most of them I keep sealed and I have several hundred from series 1 to 5. I have only opened a full set of series 4 and 5, all other series I've just opened random figures. My open set minifigures are usually kept with their vehicles or buildings and so on. Many of them are also kept in a Rubbermaid tote along with my classic figures from when I was a child. Altogether I would say I have at least 500 to 600 minifigures if not more. Someday I plan on building a large city in the basement and will use many of them at that time.
  18. Picked up Star Wars X-Wing Fighter 6212 at TRU for $50 and received a free promo Harry Potter set (trolley cart). Also bought 14 more MF series 5 at Five Below.
  19. I'm at my local TRU right now and they have 2 X-Wing fighters 6212 for sale. This set was released in 2006 so it's weird to see it on the shelves. The price is $59.99 which seems a bit high but I'm having a hard time turning it down. The question is, why do they have such an old set? Ive never seen anything like this at a large chain. Edit- at the register the price came down to $50 so it turned out to be a good deal. They also threw in a free Harry Potter promo set.
  20. Great watch, thanks for posting. I never knew the factory was so complicated with all of the robotics and so on. I always get a kick out of production facilities and seeing how they work. Legos entire system is just so impressive and the amount of bricks they produce daily is absolutely mind blowing. The care involved with just the molds is crazy, a mold washing machine? They certainly have an impressive factory.
  21. At first glance I thought it was your reference photo for the MOC. Then I realized it was the MOC! Super cool build, the detail is just stunning. I also like the photo effects that have made it so life like. Great job!
  22. I would actually like to see a large retail store, almost like a Target or a large grocery store. A mall series would be cool too. A bunch of stores sold individually that all interconnect with one another. I would think they could realease a lot of new accessories for them too. I'm sure it will never happen. The current stores like the Green Grocer and Pet Shop are too small. I want something much larger. Guess I'll have to MOC them.
  23. Not really. Occasionally I will find something rare or old at a Walmart but overall they are the worst place to get Lego. I scored a bunch of series 3 at Walmart during the peak of series 4 so that was cool. I also got a handful of Jack Sparrow promo figs for free because the cashier couldn't figure out how to ring them up. When it comes to the large chains I usually find better sets and discounts at Target. Besides, I hate Walmart. They really suck.
  24. Picked up another 20 series 5 minifigures today. I think I have four complete sets now, maybe five.
  25. A very good and honest review. I saw this at the Lego store and was blown away by the price. It really comes down to about $2.50 per figure but they are not the best figures to begin with. If they were more detailed with a bit more personality like the collectible minifigs that would be another thing. Many of these figures are similar to the ones that were around when I left Lego the first time almost 20 years ago. It's just not worth the price.
