Looking at the basic truck chassis, you could make a Grapple skidder http://www.google.com.au/search?q=grapple+skidder&hl=en&rlz=1C2CHMO_en-gbAU489AU489&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=KyYNUOvlOe2XiAfipMjoBw&ved=0CFkQsAQ&biw=1280&bih=911 -

Tank Girl's Tank
Phantom59 replied to mahjqa's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Love the Tank Girl's tank  Any chance the turret section could be made clearer please I am having trouble working out how it operates and what parts to use -
I modified the tray into a drop side. I had widen the tray so the sides drop clear of the rear wheels and also made a truck side Conveyor belt for lifting small hay bales as the truck moves forward http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/311881 I also used Black Tire 94.8 x 44 R Balloon (from 8063-1 Tractor with Trailer) on the front it is a lot easier to HOG steer

MOC Rear drive chain
Phantom59 replied to Phantom59's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I am glad someone was able to explain about the works of the diflock I am not good with explanations Thanks for the tip about shredding of the gears. Oh well back to the drawing board -
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/308061 I wanted to see if I could make a simple rear drive train for a tumbler (Batman) (of sorts) The two XL motors feed into a dif (I got the idea off a forum) drive shaft to anther dif then drive to the Portal Axles When I got it all working, I realised I could put a diflock of sorts on it, the small LA moves the diflock on and off the rear gears.
