    As I wrote, I'm making an alternate model of the 42078 and the turntable is not available there The crane is similar to the Arocs one. In set 42078 there is no turntable, that's the reason if my question Yes, I'm building a big platform so the crane is quite stable also without any stop ring. I will show everything in a dedicated topic once I will have completed the model. Thanks everybody!

    Thanks for your help! But imagine a crane with this turntable, when the crane is full extended, the weight will dismantle the turntable... or not?

    This one is too weak for a technic model. I'm making an alternate model of set 42078 and they are not available. I think I solved my problem, I will show you how in the next days! Thank you.

    Is there a way to make a turntable without the small or the big turntable? I mean, 2 holes and and an axle do the function, but they easily break, they are not enough stable and strong to hold the (small) crane.

    libero.it is an italian provider (live google.com, yahoo.com, etc) The most strange thing in the whole story is that he paid 2 times for the same MOC and he is not contacting the seller asking "where are my instructions?". In my opinion, now you don't have to do nothing, it is not your fault, you only have to wait for him.

    The steering has no possibility to be improved that way, look at the video at 1:00. There is no range of movement on the axles, there is neither half stud of free space!

    The undercarriage with old tracks is much more realistic and in scale, so I agree with you to use smaller tracks. I like it very much, I understand it is very challenging The actuator on the side of the boom, the one operated with a wormgear, is for the bucket opening? How does it work?

    Me and my wife are also in a similar situations. It looks that there will never be a baby in our lives, but there is not a reason. I think what you feel now is even worse. But life can be very surprising sometimes, so never give up, and good luck for the future!

    Looking at the promotional videos, I can confirm the buggy is light bright orange. More parts in this new colour... I hope some big construction machines will come in this colour

    I couldn't spot the 3x7 panels, where are they? Also I noticed that the different rims prototypes have different size, so they also considered different tire sizes! I must say that black rims are not the best choice in my opinion.

    My cab is not tilting and there is no fake engine inside, but I could add this feature later. But I don't think your grille is ugly… I like it very much instead! The front of your model is very realistic in my opinion. 1:17 is also my scale, and I suppose to build this 1:22 Volvo just for fun, and then resize everything bigger!

    Well I am in the very first stage, I'm using only parts from the 42078. Here is the first sketch of the front part. It should be an 8x4 but I change my mind every day!
